Maybe Fulham is not mathematically down yet, but it is obvious that they are a "bad" team, no team at the relegation zone could be a good team which means Arsenal should win these type of games, they are fighting for european cups right now, United will probably get it at Europa but Arsenal is trying their best as well, this type of results show that they are not good at what they are doing at all.

I feel like they just gave up at this point, this is a lost season for them and they are not going to win anything, won't go to europe next year, not win the fa cup, not win the europa cup, basically all zero season by the looks of it. That is a very bad season by Arsenal standards, I mean sure they are not a team that won anything in the recent years, but they were at least doing better than this, they weren't always this far away from everything.

If Liverpool wins today they move to 4th position ahead of West Ham with same points but better goals difference, thus there is no room for any complacency, it must be a must win match today against Leeds United unfortunately that they are out of UCL they should concentrate on winning their remaining EPL matches to qualify for next season UCL else they will compete in Europa league if they flop.

Can't say for sure. They have Europa games to play as well along with PL games so any crucial injuries could pull them back down. However dropping 9 points gap seems hard but still can't say for sure about what lies ahead.

Yes, I agree with you. The ball is round so in football, there is nothing impossible. Even though Man City has the great opportunity (than Man United) to win the EPL, there is still a possibility that they could lose points in the following matches.

Surely many people think that Man City will be able to easily win against Leeds, but it turns out they instead be defeated by Leeds while playing as host. So I think, Man City's current performance is not at their best, moreover, they also still have to compete in the Champions League.

A lot of pression is happening right now on the involved clubs. Even Boris Johnson and Macron (French president) have something to say about this. UEFA? president tho said something also about banning players from participating with their national team in World Cup... That's a big mess!

Both teams are back with this fine win away for the red, are they able to defend their entry into the European league? Of course this is not easy at the start, they are still there who remain in that position will be much better in tonight's victory is needed too.

Lots of failures have happened to Liverpool after lots of injuries in defense and center and there it started to shake things up where they played inconsistently again, now there's nothing to hope for except to secure the best-performing position of the season.

That's weird. Spurs are doing badly from a while. They were the top team then dropped to reach the 7th spot right now. I would understand the team sacking him weeks ago but now?? What left for them to win? The fight for CL is almost impossible and EL seems to be a hard thing to achieve.

It's really weird they are sacking him before the League Cup final this weekend. There's been some rumors that he refused to take the team to training after the Superleague announcement, I'm not really ready to believe that without proof as well but something's fishy here and the timing is all wrong.

Results have been poor lately but it's not only Mourinho to blame - Tottenham has expectations of a top 4 team and a budget way below that.

Manchester City is not 99% sure but 100% sure to win the Premier League this year.Sure they are playing in Champions and their full focus will be there but this doesn't mean they can't fight in both fronts.They have the quality to do so and it is impossible for them to lose the Premier League title this year.

Leicester was just lucky with some of their goals, if you rank the clubs by xG (expected goals) scores they fall much deeper in the table because they got an xG of about 46. I don't think they'll even make it past the group stage with these stats.

Go to https://understat.com/league/EPL and sort it by xG stats.

There would've been Liverpool and Chelsea in the higher spots with an xG of 55 and both really close to ManU, except LFC's shots either keep going wide or less occasionally get saved.

Meanwhile Chelsea's xG keeps going up thanks to Tuchel (well actually it recently started to take a nosedive but worse than our dive in xG so we may still have hope) means that barring another west brom-request disaster they'll probably end up #4.

We're probably looking at Europa League football next year. No biggie though, we can just win that and automatically get a CL spot in Group A the year after that. Gives us enough time to build our front 3 after we rebuild our defense next summer.

If Chelsea wins the CL then a #4 spot won't get us there anyway.

City of course tops both their points and xG which is no surprise given that they land most of their shots they make.

The competition for the fourth position is exciting as alwasy in this season. West Ham have more pressure after the last weekend. They have 55 points and Liverpool will have same points if they win their match. Chelsea can have 2 more points than West Ham if they win.

Only Tottenham is in bad situation and almost hopelesss for the competition. Their position is attacking by Everton and Arsenal too. It is strange that Tottenham have to struggle to keep their position against Arsenal. They fall down too much in the second part of this season.
