Manchester United are now one of the strong teams in the Premier League who are starting to be consistent, in fact, Manchester United
performance is getting better compared to the start of the season. The away victory against Tottenham has provided evidence that Manchester
United have found their best game. Although it is indeed very difficult to catch the points that Manchester City have, and it is very likely that
Manchester City will win the Premier League trophy. But I agree with you that next season Manchester United can become the number one
Premier League again. Moreover, Manchester United will bring in several star players to replace some of the players who will leave Manchester
United next season.

Man Utd can definitely compete for the title but they must buy 2-3 high quality players. Chelsea will be much stronger next season too, I think they will spend big. Liverpool will have Van Dijk & Gomez back so they will be much stronger too.

Manchester United have drawn 5 matches of their last 11 matches and won the other 6 matches. They have lost 10 points in last 11 match. On the other hand, Manchester City have lost just 2 of their last 11 matches and won all the remaining. They have lost only 6 points in the last 11 matches. So I have to say that so far Manchester City is in a more stable form than Manchester United. Manchester United are trying to sign some star players next season, while Guardiola is trying to sign Messi.
Manchester City has the Premier League trophy in their hands and only they can throw it away by themselves. None of rest clubs in Premier League can steal it from Manchester City. Maybe next time, next season, not this one.

Manchester United has a good season but they are not much better than other clubs in top table of Premier League. Their chances to compete for the Premier League trophy next season is vague. They depend too much on Bruno but I would love to see more growth from Mason.

With all recent events in Barcelona, I think Messi can stay in Nou Camp. He loves that club and the new but ex-President Laporta can bring hope and belief back to Messi. He might be convinced by the new President.

Final result of La Liga will contribute to Messi decisions.

That's exactly what some Man Utd fans at the beginning of the 2020/2021 season. Don't know it keeps getting shifted to next seasons even though we all know Man Utd isn't the only good team playing in the next season?

After winning 3-1 at Tottenham , they have made a streak of 23 away match without defeat, good progress. They have developed very well and  very different from the start of the season. Despite their busy schedule, Ole has found a good mix for his players.

Cavani, although his old looks great, he can be an inspiration to young players. The role of bruno fernandes in midfield is also a major factor, his statistics are very good he is always Ole's first choice. If this continues and not many MU players leave, I think that next season MU can be number one again in the EPL.

Impressive game from Manchester United today against Tottenham they controlled the game from every tactical aspect, Henderson was my man of the match he had several good saves preventing Tottenham from finishing up the game when they were 1-nill up. It's been. The week was full of unexpected results from Leeds winning mancity with 10 men to Westham winning Leicester City

~snip~

Manchester Utd played really nicely and got a deserved win surely. Tottenham got ahead first but Manchester Utd weren't affected by it badly and managed to turn the game around. And I think the defining moment of the game was that the ball bounced off the heads of two Manchester Utd players and hit their own crossbar when the score was 2-1. If it ended up with a goal for Tottenham, maybe the result could have been way different.  Grin

They may well miss the Champions league spot at the end of the seson but that shouldnt take anything away from the amazing campaign they have had this season.
But so far they are still on a good track to get a chance to play at UCL next season. I am sure 4th place will continue to be a showdown between Chelsea, Liverpool, Tottenham and West Ham until the end of the season. But I'm pretty sure Chelsea have a better chance of doing so. Chelsea will meet West Ham on 24 April, and this will be the best momentum to occupy 4th place in the standings.

Anyone who sincerely believes that Manchester United can win the league this season or even next season must be a really optimistic person. Manchester United is proven several times this season that it is barely the sum of its individual players and not a properly built team structured on a particular philosophy and style. They have taken full advantage of their individaul stars (Pogba, Fernandes, Cavani, Rashford). The rest of the squad are simply filling the numbers and the fact of the matter is, you cant win a league with that system. OGS simply sends the team out and hopes for the best.

Why does everyone derive pleasure in pushing a narrative that Manchester united does not have a philosophy or a style!? I find it strange that as spectators we find it difficult to give credit when it is due. Manchester united ofcourse does not have the depth as Manchester city or Chelsea or Liverpool; but they are second in the league after scoring the second most goal, away in the league for over a year, earned the second most points after Manchester city and 7 points above 3rd place Leicester; yet there is no single style of play?

It is ridiculous the disrespect Ole faces everywhere; mufc is second on the league table without a back up rb, a rw, a cdm or a back up defender; yet they are not good enough? Bring out all stats in Europe; Mufc are top 5 in 90% and they don't have a pattern?

The EPL season ends soon with Manchester united qualifying for the champions league for the second consecutive time for the first time  since Ferguson retired. All i see is progress

I look at the EPL table now and I'm shocked to see West Ham United in 4th place. How? Just how is this happening in the EPL because I don't get it. The league has become very controversial and unpredicted through out this season. It amazes me still. They had a good game today though, played over 4.5 for the gamblers in there West Ham United 3-2 Leicester City win this afternoon.

Tottenham on the other hand is the flop of the Sunday. I didn't imagine them loosing to Manchester United today. What is Jose Mourinho really doing, for real. His got the square, he should use them and stop playing around.

It's different from the EPL that something unexpected can happen even I still remember when Leicester city first entered the premier league and came out as champions
of course this is more horrendous in the whole world, right? so don't be surprised if West Ham are ranked 4-3-2 or even 1st

As we all know in football, most times, results, referee decisions, VAR interventions, manager apointments all balance out. West ham have been amazing this season and they must be given credit. The board have given David Moyes time and environment where he has been able to implement his philosophy, recruit the players he need over a period of time. The West Ham team is a mixture of young, talented home grown players (Rice, Antonio, Johnson, Lingard etc) and foreign players (Soucek, Lanzini, Diop, Bowen etc.). They may well miss the Champions league spot at the end of the seson but that shouldnt take anything away from the amazing campaign they have had this season.

This is what I do. I drink and I know things.

IMO this is not so accurate. None of the teams in EPL have a roster full of stars and I doubt that we will see soon any. This season the favorite is ManCity but ManUtd at least showed a competitive face and mood in general. So maybe this year won't be a success, in matters of getting the title, but next year I believe that things will be different.

Mou will be under pressure from both team and club supporters who have witnessed this humiliating 3-1 defeat to Man Utd at their home stadium.

Man Utd today showed a lot of team spirit and team work, they dominated possession and showed that they really wanted the win and it was evident in that Fred's second goal for the club. Pogba was particularly instrumental in that midfield area and deserves a thumbs up for his performance. Cavani as well has been fire this season and is really doing wonders and scoring goals with that his head.

I really hope Man Utd can sustain this form till the end of the season, they might just win the league.

At least that Everton game ended with a draw because another win of an underdog team will be too much for a day.
Well, it would have been something but, I wouldn't be surprised though because, the unexpected is what have been happening in the EPL these days, where you would see a team so far behind in the previous week, coming up to top the league. West Bromwich Albion coming up to win the game against Everton won't have been the best of event for yesterday as it was going to live a devastated effect on most bets but a few but, your sure it would have been for West Bromwich Albion. A win is what they need to live the relegation zone as the league is fast coming to an end.

As for the league being open, I guess that's just for the 2nd - 5th spot because, Manchester City vs very much taken the league. It would take a lot like the surprising win from Leeds by the wicked to take them off the top of the EPL table.

Anybody watching Brighton v Everton? It’s half time 0-0, I think I need an espresso if I am to watch the 2nd half too, wow what a borefest.
*I'm not interested in this match, I have a prediction it's very boring 'lol'...
when I see the formation which Everton issued is 5-3-2 I have seen that Everton will only play defense. *the draw will be the final score
At least that Everton game ended with a draw because another win of an underdog team will be too much for a day. Ancelotti boys next match will be vs Mourinho's guys and with such a draw, I am very pessimistic.

This must be one of the most boring Premier League games in last decade. I don't know if Brighton & Hove Albion happy about 1 point, they are still close to relegation zone, but for sure Everton is happy to get 1 point after such a bad game. Teams didn't even do 3 substitutes in the game, what did they think? Ancelotti had a hard time by too many missing players. Only a few youngsters were on the bench, that made things difficult for him. When you can't make a move by substitute players you have to change game tactics with players on the pitch. We didn't see any of that today.

Everton had 2 games in hand over most teams in the league. I don’t know why they weren’t pushing harder to win the game last night. Getting in the CL would be huge for a team like Everton but they played defensive & didn’t seem to take risks, 0-0 was not a good result for them. Brighton probably deserved the win.

Its close but provided that Brighton play decently then they might be able to avoid the relegation zone . Sheffiled and Fulham are probably guaranteed to be relegated , the other slot probably will be either Newcastle or West Brom. I was going to say West Brom was pretty much guaranteed to be relegated as well but not after they win twice in a row

but for sure Everton is happy to get 1 point after such a bad game.

Probably not considering the race for 5th spot is still wide open because most team share almost the same points right now. They could have close the gap if only they get 3 points today

The tie ended  0-0 between with both teams; an interesting tie where the points are shared; its a good point for Everton who did literally nothing to get a win this evening; while the draw means that Brighton remain in a relegation battle. Brighton are 7 points away from the relegation spots and are not mathematically save. Will they beat the drop ?

Everton are lucky to have come off with a point from the match, It was practically all Brighton, they just could find the back of net despite having numerous attempts. I strongly believe that Brighton are going to remain in the premier league ahead of next season, they still have tough fixtures (Chelsea next fixture) but the teams in the drop zone other than West Brom are not putting up much fights to remain in the league.

We'd just have to wait and see if Brighton would come through. They have a couple of tough fixtures ahead like Chelsea and Westham so it would be a lot better if they focus on getting enough points from fixtures against teams in the bottom half of the table while hoping the likes of Fulham, and West brom don't get plenty of points from the remaining fixtures as well. Frankly speaking, I don't see either Fulham or Westham would escape the drop zone. But it isn't over yet. Even Aston Villa escaped narrowly last season so I won't be making any conclusions.

Liverpool securing a champions league spot is still very much possible given the last 7 fixtures of the season. It would be really bad if we don't make the cut at the end of the season so I do hope that Klopp will be able to get us there. If possible, I'd like if we could get all 21 points from the 7 games but it's not an easy task to accomplish given the current state of our team.  From the look of things we might not survive our UCL clash against Real Madrid. A champions league exit should help us focus more on getting to 4th position.
Everything is in the hands and feet of the Liverpool players and the position in the standings is quite favorable, but to solve the problem of getting into the top four, you need to stabilize the results, because Liverpool has already broken a lot of anti-records both intra-club and at the championship level. As for Klopp, I would like to say that according to the available information, Bayern are interested in him, because Flick can lead the German national team at the end of the season. Another question is that it seems that Klopp himself said that after leaving Liverpool he would like to take a break from coaching.
