A beautiful premier league weekend, with everyone exposing their bias comments and review. Manchester City was massacred today by the Leicester team and then everyone suddenly blames the backline. Why not appreciate the winning team?

I totally appreciate Leicesters performance today! But never ever would I have expected this result today. Maybe that City struggles a bit, yeah, but I was sure that Citys individual strength would be enough in the end against a Leicester defense that was quite shaky in the previous game(s). Now it was just the other way around. City conceides 5 goals at home ... when was the last time something like that happened?! Guardiala never conceided 5 goals in his whole career as a coach!

You are right about Manchester city individual players, but the truth remains that top teams will struggle this season, at least for few weeks due to tiredness and match sharpness.

Manchester city and united, bayern, dortmund, psg even Madrid has struggled for fitness and match sharpness due to tired less. If you watched the game over the weekend, you would realize the difference in fitness levels.

Even wolvehampton player's could not run the length of the pitch to press as they used to.
A long premier league season ahead

Leeds continue to hold Sheffield United yo a goalless draw, topping in all match statistics. I'm sure a lot of teams in the likes of southampton, Sheffield, Newcastle and a few others would be looking up to them soon should they continue this pattern of play.
My prediction for today is:

Sheffield 0-1 Leeds
Except it ends as a goalless draw.

Tottenham - Newcastle
Spurs to win with a 2 goals margin

Manchester city - Leicester
Man City to win and score at least 2 goals.

Let's keep an open eye on the games.
Confirmation of predictions:
Leeds won and it was solely deserving.
Other prections From Tottenham to Manchester City was solely a desaster, lol.
Its been a crazy weekend for premier league with the mid tier teams really stepping on the pitch to prove they are in the game and not some easy way to 3 points. It was awful for bettors.

maybe Arsenal taking down Liverpool next on line ?
Based on their inconsistent or rather below-par performance on matchday two, I wouldn't get my hopes up.
- Having said that, I want Gunners to win it Smiley

Manchester City was massacred today by the Leicester team and then everyone suddenly blames the backline. Why not appreciate the winning team?
I only watched the highlights and Leicester fully deserved it but all 3 penalties could've been avoided.

Should we expect a liverpool massive performance tomorrow?  or an arsenal victory?
A win for Liverpool is much more realistic than the latter one.

Mancity defence is becoming joke lol like Man UTD. Tongue don't know what Pep is doing with this team and what his plans about the defence. Hope to see a good come back in next match.
As a fan of Man City , I can't expect this type of performance from them .  This is frustrating for Man City and guardiola . Man city players tried hard to win the match . I can't say that  they played badly . They are played well but fate did not help them . Hope hey will repair their mistakes and will return to their old form .
Not sure if it's a coincidence but after Arteta left them [not sure about his impact on them], they seem to be disorganized.

I even lost nearly $ 500,
because betting wins for Manchester City, Tottenham, Chelsea and Wolves. And it really hurts me, because the four teams
I chose failed to win.
Sorry for your loss but I would advise not to bet until a few weeks have passed after the transfer window's conclusion.

A strange start for Premier League: Leceister City and Everton take the first 2 positions on the table. https://www.premierleague.com/tables

Jamie Vardy and Calvert-Lewin take first 2 positions for top scorers: https://www.premierleague.com/stats/top/players/goals

Jamie Vardy can win a personal title, Premier League Golden boot again. Everton and Leceister City can take part in a very interesting competitive race to Champions League with Arsenal, Tottenham, Manchester United and Chelsea. I still believe the title race will be only for Manchester City and Liverpool.

It is still early to say that Vardy is going to get the golden boot. It is already the second fixture of the league.
Leicester is going a great job in this start, no one really expected that they are going to score 5 goals against Manchester City and in the home stadium of City.
It would be interesting to see if they will continue like this at the next fixtures...

Can I ask what the hell is going on today? West Ham 3-0 Wolves, with 20 minutes left!
Almost all favourite teams wasted their games! Wonder know how many people lost their bets, bookies owners wealth skyrocketed this weekend!!

A weekend were Dortmund, Bayern, City, Chelsea, Wolves all disappointed I don't expect anybody to win a bet I lost huge this weekend, it's bookies weekend lol.

It seems like most of the bettors were losing this week, because many of the favorite teams lost. I even lost nearly $ 500,
because betting wins for Manchester City, Tottenham, Chelsea and Wolves. And it really hurts me, because the four teams
I chose failed to win. Things like this rarely happen, I think this happen as a result of the effects of the COVID19 pandemic.
Hopefully next week the favorite team can win as usual, if not, my stake for betting may run out.

Quite a disastrous and disappointment for bettors this weekend for Top teams in EPL and German bundesliga flopped, its like placing bets on top teams is not guarantee of wining bet nowadays maybe I switch to GG both sides scoring type of bet and be selective before accumulate them,
Fans not being allowed in stadium due to Covid-19 might have been also contributing factor that resulted to some of the teams playing below par however this does not mean those team should put in their best to win matches.

If Manchester united loses or lampard, the narrative is that they are poor coaches, and pogba is a bad player, but when city loses, suddenly pep is not at fault and everyone neglects Debruyne disasterclass performances.

A beautiful premier league season, but var is causing confusion with several irregular decisions.
Should we expect a liverpool massive performance tomorrow?  or an arsenal victory?

What happened to Manchester City nowadays Huh
~snip~
What a shocking result, I don't think Man City will lose. Quite a number of goals for the EPL. Man City lost 5-2. This time Jamie Vardy scored a hat-trick. I think appearing at the Etihad should Man City beat Leicester City. I am surprised that the Man City defense made a mistake which resulted in 3 penalties, it looks like they had a hard time blocking Leicester City's counter-attack.

What happened to Manchester City nowadays Huh
Three times made mistakes in the forbidden box and became a penalty for Leicester, this is really unlucky for Mancity, their game is very bad Pep Guardiola did not make changes in strategy or formation so that their attacks were not strong in front of Leicester ah, I'm sick of seeing very high scores. It's a shame I support Manchester city.

Damn, the losing bet was bigger than usual I thought it would be a 1-0 mancity win but the prediction missed higher.

City vs Leicester, my prediction is 1-2*. anyone?
*I am a United fan lol
This weekend results sucks in both EPL and Bundesliga, Dortmund defeated, Bayern just lost with 3 goals difference, Chelsea drawing and Man City 1-3 vs Leicester with less than 15 minutes left in the game... x8 bet for Leicester!

Edit:
Apart from extra minute drama I would say this week is full of surprises.

City are 3-1 down and this week seems like full of surprises for favourites. Chelsea was almost shocked by West Brom, Spurs drew with Newcastle, City getting thrashed by Leicester, maybe Arsenal taking down Liverpool next on line ?
This weekend definitely is full of surprises and I am wondering too if Liverpool will manage to escape it safely  Smiley

The Spurs are now 1 goal lead and there is still time left like this could add another goal.
Last minute drama this weekend! After Man United, it is Newcastle turns to score from a penalty after reviewing the VAR...
30 minutes to go for City - Leicester match, another last minute penalty maybe?  Roll Eyes

BTW Leicester are playing really well. Castagne is playing so well. Leicester really got themselves a very great signing this transfer window.

The players of Chelsea fought really hard yesterday in order to force a draw at the final whistle against West Brom,
Merely looking at the team lineup I knew we were up for the doggy game, Tomori had a fantastic partnership with Thiago Silva on Wednesday 6-0 win against Barnley but Lampard as usual went in for Christensen and Thiago Silva knowing fully well that Thiago is aged and does not speak English I was expecting a backing of Zouma and Silva partnership at least Silva can speak French and the second mistake of the game was featuring Alonso at the LB he was overplayed the whole first half he was too sluggish and slow. Another weak link yesterday was Willy, he conceded three goals from three shots on target and lastly, I didn't understand while Tammy was paired with Werner playing Mount on the wing leaving CHO on the bench Lampard really need to stop playing these boys out of position. The comeback was Epic although I expected much from them... Cheers.
