Liverpool and it will be not even close.

For the second spot, I think it will be a fight between Manchester City and Chelsea they are spending a ton of money.
Last slot for the Champion's League for Manchester United.

But this prediction is too early, we have 4 more weeks of the market for change everything.

This could be another year for them to shine though. Obviously I have high hopes for them, I even bet on Leeds to finish up top 4 for small size of bet  Tongue Just for the sake of fun. They might not be the underdog that probably will win the Premier League but atleast they have high potential to stay on the Premier League unlike the other promoted teams . My 2 cent of thoughts Wink

Oooh, why not? What are the odds and where can I find them haha! I mean, Champions maybe not, but if we see the Big Six fumbling again (and I have a feeling they will) I don't see why Leeds can't steal a CL spot in their first season up. I do feel they'll be more like Leicester though, almost relegated in the first season before smashing their next. PL is a huge step up, needs orientation.

First of all I would like to introduce my favorite club here which is Manchester City @trofo , they probably would be the winner of the premier league this season which I have done voting for them.
But no body is really talking about Arsenal scaling through because of influx of new respective players in the club, I think Arsenal playing pattern will change and at least end at 3-4th place in the league table this season, they are improving like never before this time, let's just see how the outcome will be.

Arsenal no chance to win the PL, tbh I don’t even think they will get top 4. I do agree with you that Man City are favourites to win the title. They have the best squad strength.

I saw that Leeds are linked with Divock Origi, he’d be a good signing for them. He’s played in & scored in some huge games for Liverpool. Maybe he wants to be the main man somewhere & not a squad player. Leeds could be a good place for him to become top dog.

Leeds have signed a Glasgow Rangers player from Valencia for £ 27 million. Of course this will add quality sharpness to the front line. If you look at this player is pretty good after I look at his profile, well hopefully a move to the EPL will have an impact on both of them.

The difficulty for newly promoted teams is that they can't get what they need - which is a decent English premier league player who has a proven history in the English premier league... those sorts of players are generally too expensive, and unwilling to move to a 'lesser' team. This is why we often see rich newly promoted teams buying expensive foreign players who are unproven here. It's a gamble, but it's the only way they can get good players in... find someone who looks good, who has a proven record in a different league in a different country... and then just hope they fit in here.

I want to see how the Leeds team will play if they are strong fighters so I believe in the first division there will be more challenges especially when they buy players to focus more on defending in the first division.
Honestly, I don't think why the Leeds game but the crowd supports it. Will they be better in the EPL? The transfer season is now hot so as much as possible Leeds can recruit even better players.

A new rumour is that they are looking to sign Borna Barisic from Glasgow Rangers too, would be a quality signing for sure as I track that player for a while now and he has good things to offer. Scots play similar style of football to Premiership so he would not have trouble adapting to the league.

But the other rumors are still in the negotiation stage so whatever Leeds sign for is the standard for them to start a match in the EPL.

If Leeds weren't relegated then I would say Leeds are a great team.

The first half of the Premier League season will witness a different performance from previous seasons, due to the absence of fans in most stadiums, Leeds v Liverpool match might be one of those surprises so anything is possible in football!! Angry

I can feel their supporters already.
Leeds - they want to see their teams playing the first match after they come back to the EPL.
Liverpool - they want to see their teams playing the first match as a defending champion after a long long time.

Ah yeah, all that talk about Leeds. It's nostalgia really, that was the youth of the Prem League, almost around the time I also first started following it, when my heroes were still young and my age, and when Leeds were stylish and punching it up in the Champions League! Leicester they were not though, and I'm happy to see opportunities like these where it's not just the megarich playing with coins and bills on the pitch;)

I don't really see why most people on this thread are gunning for leeds for the 2020/2021 season since I don't fancy Leeds Utd much. get the fact that they did well in the championship last season but the premier league is a different ball game. Their first game of the season is against a strong Liverpool side at Anfield. They don't stand a chance against a team like Liverpool ~ Liverpool would want to send a strong message to other title contenders by winning our first game of the season.

Probably because of Bielsa - people generally love him and his style of play. He's also a really interesting character and you just kind of want his teams to do well. They will be fast, relentless and direct and will probably have to play with kids after February because half of his team will be either injured or too tired Grin

Also, Leeds had a great team when most of us were growing up so we do have a soft spot for them - at least I had when they were in the Championship. I'm glad they are back but now it's time they receive a reminder where they are so I hope we hammer them at Anfield in the 1st game. I think we will.

I'm a little surprised that Leeds is spending so much, as I know they are so dominated last season, they will certainly be at least equal to many clubs.

The financial benefits of playing in the premier league are so huge that it's not surprising that teams will try to spend all the money they can in a bid to survive there. I think some teams overdo it, though. The aim for a newly promoted team must always be to not get relegated. Anything beyond that is a bonus. I think for that first season, they should try to supplement their promotion-winning team with a few established and experienced premier league players, to build a solid basis and a team that can stay up. After that, with a solid team in place, the next year is the time to perhaps spend big, bring in untested young players and foreign players without premier league experience.

It's understandable why people are having believe in Leeds -not that they will win the English premier league- but the have some showing to give, the team are not going to be new to the English premier league and they did go in the championship - their coach who is good and brings drama- Leeds has something to give. They stand no chance against Liverpool in the first match but other than that, they will give a good account of themselves.

I agree with you, a lot of people talk about Leeds United not because they will win the Premier League title. But with the history of Leeds
which is not a new team in the premier league, even during the 2002/2003 season when striker Harry Kewell was still strengthened Leeds
is a team that can beat several strong teams at that time. So now Leeds with coach Marcelo Bielsa, naturally, many people hoped that
Leeds would provide something interesting.

Ever since Leicester won the league, people always love the idea of how underdog could win the premier league . People may support the other team but believe it or not, people always love underdog that has potential to win and Leeds totally has the potential considering that they play well in the Championship

get the fact that they did well in the championship last season but the premier league is a different ball game.

It is totally different but they could adapt to it , the fact that they have been signing more players means they are serious on taking this season

They don't stand a chance against a team like Liverpool ~ Liverpool would want to send a strong message to other title contenders by winning our first game of the season.

Who in the sane mind would even compare Leeds to Liverpool? Losing a game or two against top teams like Liverpool means nothing if they could win against the other team

Yeah they are, first they extended Biesla contract and have been filling up transfer targets as according to Biesla. They have lot of expectations from Biesla right now.

Rodrigo Moreno (striker) from Valencia is a notable signing.
Leeds applied for Rodrigo Moreno, at a price - + € 30 million. This is a new record for Leeds in making transfers. Seeing his statistics he performed quite well, he can play as a Midfielder (Center, Left, Right), Forward. He's also great at ball possession, strong Powerful Passes, Passes and Dribbling. This player is very complete and is still in the productive category, which is 29 years. I hope that with the purchase of new players they can stay in Premier League for the next season.
Right now first thing is they need to be stay in Premier League because after very long time they came back so best thing working for stay in is best after few seasons then they can think about Europe as now its very tough competition even in EPL they have to manage very tough time with big clubs and big spending its not easy for them.

That does show ambition, but at the same time it's a big risk because you've got to get all of those new players to gel together.
Remember Fulham came up, spent £100m, and then got relegated.
Villa nearly did the same thing last season, and only escaped somehow on the last day.

It's difficult for teams that come up, I think they are probably better spending more on fewer players if they can... but of course it is difficult to attract elite players if you're newly promoted.

this is exactly the essence. I have seen many times a great team made up of top players, but something didn't work. Chelsea also bought a few significant players, but only together do they have to show class.
I'm a little surprised that Leeds is spending so much, as I know they are so dominated last season, they will certainly be at least equal to many clubs.
