Arsenal are now the 5th place, just 3 points behind of Manchester City
Arsenal has only 2 points less than Manchester City, not 3.
Currently, Manchester City is ranked first with 13 points and Arsenal is ranked fourth (not fifth) with 11 points.

I didn’t expect Arsenal to be this fierce. My prediction of 2-0 victory for Manchester City is already in shit as Arsenal are leading the game two goals to one. Interestingly the two goals for Arsenal were scored by their defenders, Calafiori; and Gabriel.

Edit: Trossard just picked up a second yellow and he’s been sent out. Arsenal will play the second half with 10 men.
Manchester City scored the equalizer at the last moment. I did not expect such a game from Arsenal. Despite playing with 10 men in the second half, they led the game 2-1 for a long time. Despite playing so well, they could not prevent the last goal. I was thinking the same thing before the game, I did not expect Arsenal to play so well.

Today they played outstandingly beautiful, I enjoyed the game and I must say if they keep up lime this, they'll  end up winning the EPL title this season. I always knew Brighton is not yet ready for what they started earlier, they used to be at the top but their recent games has all been a draw and that will eventually take them away from the top of the table with time. However all I want is a much competitive season I  Premier League, so if they return to their old form, it would make things lot more interesting. From Chelsea's last fews games, it's safe to say that they are on good form, Sancho has been a brilliant player during their last two games, a player whom ten hag deemed useless in the team.

Manchester City were saved at the end of the game by the goal of Stones and got 1 point that kept it the first with only one point difference from Liverpool which has a good starting right now.

They were actually fatigued and we saw during the game some of the players picking up cramps and showing their exhaustion in the game but trying very hard to mask it. True, the red card gotten by Trossard changed the game pattern and further pushed the Gunners to stretch more to cover the loose ends. I need to commend them for their resilience because even though they drew the game very late into the stoppage time, they managed to avoid more goals and this is not like them. Normally, they get demoralized and lose focus whenever they get red carded but this time was different.

The game was even and all I can say this is a proper tittle contenders challenge, If you look the way Arsenal has managed to play their last two league matches you would see the shift in the tactical set ups of Arteta. Today Arsenal resilience wasn’t just because of the red card but was because of how tactically good Arteta was also is. His decision to actually give the ball to city was a good idea because we know nobody can actually get pass city without having to go through this torture. Arteta decision to take off Saka instead of Martinelli was the point where I was yeah Arteta is growing with more games and it is good this defensive structure today was how some other teams ind the past use to get scrabbyv wins

Arsenal will feel hurt considering the moment they drew the game. It as more like a hard work weren’t appreciated but seriously they need not to be because the game actually push forward as to how the season will he moving forward and if they can seriously handle a game against the other clubs and do a come back

From my own opinion it's Man City that drop two vital points at Etihad it's a game that suppose to get them the 3 maximum points unfortunately Arsenal stood their ground andvcame out with a well deserve one point, Arsenal really defended very well for 45+ minutes took all the pressure despite being outplayed Man City, while kudos to Raya Arsenal goalkeeper who really made some brilliant saves that ensured the gunners to held on infact they could have narrowly won the match, the outcome of today's match is an indication that premier league is becoming tougher and Man City had conceded goals in all their previous match though won all those matches except today's match.
Manchester City supporters were very much happy celebrating this draw result like the won the game, forgetting that they played at home and played against a 10 man Arsenal team. Arsenal were the better team, Manchester City were Lucky I guess. Arteta really has done well with Arsenal, they are now one team that is giving Pep Guardiola headaches because they play very well, and defend better. Arsenal have played defensive football in their last three games in all competitions since the Odegaard injury, It will be good to see them start attacking football again.
Actually Manchester City  supporters are supposed to be happy because the equalizing goal came at the injury time of the when they felt that they had almost lost the game, so it was literally due to the late equalizer that made them to be excited.

You know this kind of Joy that comes when a goal is being scored at the die minutes and moreover, it would had been disastrous because they are playing at Home and Arsenal could had over taken them to the top of the league table.

However, Arsenal played exceptionally well because it wasn't easy to maintain the lead all the way from first half to almost full time even when they were just 10 men, this shows bravery from the Arsenal team and the defensive formation they have been using for the past 3 games were really effective.

M.City - Arsenal match was really enjoyable, we watched some nice goals.
Arsenal is a very unlucky team, we saw that again tonight, they conceded a goal in the last minute of extra time and ended the match in a draw.
I wouldn't say they're unlucky per sa. Man City wouldn't accept that eas defeat yunno.
Not to take anything from Manchester City today but Arsenal were in fact very unlucky today. First, they got a red card in the extra minutes of the first half, playing against the toughest team in the premier league. And just when it was looking like Arsenal had sealed the win, Manchester City scored an equalizer in the 90+8' minutes of the game. How unlucky is that?

Painfully, it was at the last second despite Arsenal's efforts to hold on to their lead but they couldn't withstand the pressure.

Unfortunately Trossard who came out due to a red card had to make Arsenal's game back on defense, this is clearly unbalanced but what can be done Arsenal can only survive.

For Manchester City this may not be satisfied, but for Arsenal this is a crucial match which finally has to share points, I saw after Stones' goal, I saw Arsenal players look exhausted because they continued to receive attacks from opponents.
In my opinion, the way Arsenal started the match until they turned the score around was a warning to Manchester City, the strategy implemented by Arteta this season is more effective. The match was balanced in the first half, and it was very interesting before Leandro Trossard red card changed the course of the match, the second half was all owned by Manchester City who finally managed to end the match with a draw. Arteta and all his tired players were clearly disappointed with 1 point, because they had worked hard with 10 players, but Arsenal showed an extraordinary mentality.

Pep Guardiola also had the same reaction, they were also disappointed because they failed to take advantage of the home advantage, but they should be grateful because they survived the defeat. This match shows that Arsenal are now a real challenger for Manchester City in the title race. Going forward, Arteta must emphasize his players to be more disciplined and not overreact which could be detrimental to the team.

I was very sure Arsenal would win even though I realized Arsenal were only playing with 10 players, because I thought Arsenal would really play defensively to maintain the victory they had in the  first half with a score of 1-2. Sure enough, in the second half there were a lot of saves made by Arsenal but yes indeed, it was unfortunate that Arsenal finally conceded in the minute towards the end of the match and that will give a deep disappointment to Trossard who got a red card. Or maybe, the red card had an element of controversy but yes, everything has happened and Arsenal only got one point with 10 players and that's not bad at all.

Arsenal have 11 points and Manchester City have 13 and I think that's still a close points gap, and there's certainly still a chance for Arsenal to pose a threat to Manchester City at the top of the table. But indeed, when it comes to the Premier League even though it has a very competitive competition,  but only with a gap of two points it is also  difficult to overtake, because if Manchester City has been at the top it is very possible for Manchester City to be able to maintain it.
A very difficult match, although it seemed that for City this match could be very easy when they scored the first goal. There were questions about how Arsenal scored in both cases, but Oliver decided not to interfere, and after the red card, Arteta decided to play 5-4-0 and City really could not do anything with such a defense, all that was left for them was long-range shots. A very difficult match, after something like that you need a week off to recover, first of all mentally.
At first I knew Arteta will pull out his defense team and he did, no doubt Arsenal have one of the best defense team in premier league. Manchester city played 109_2 opposition passes during second half showing how they dedicated their time and strength defending, it’s so easy to say Arsenal can defeat city at the Emirates Stadium with this kind of performance. This season both teams meant what they promised and I will love to see Arsenal play better than this hoping for something better, a tough match and Raya never seems to amaze me each match day it’s so good he keeps doing it better than previous times always. Halaand had little chances scoring a second goal but nothing happened because Gabriel kept following his every move, both teams are just too strong.

The game later ended a draw after Manchester City had theirast goal few minutes to the end of the game, I didn't expect this from them, actually I observed after the removal of their player in the early minutes of the game who was injured a d probably haven't recovered fully, it affected their minds and gave them some instability awhile that they had to gather up their self at first so they took awhile until halaand gave them a goal then they gradually tried putting up with a rhythm until arsenal swept them off their foot but they had Arsenal on their toes but then areteta was Smart enough to use the metrics strategy where everyone was moving at once keeping everywhere almost locked and baiting Manchester City in and taking advantage of counters because the defect Arsenal had was midfield and city had a defensive defect too.

I really appreciate the effort Arsenal players out in the match even though it ended draw for them having seen the straight in Manchester city the red card gave them the chance of equaliser but if Arsenal were only more defensive in the last few minutes they would have bagged the 3 points completely.
It would be another story from today, when next Arsenal gets to play City they would have to see it as a fight to win.
I don't think Manchester City will lose to Arsenal even if it's 11v11 players. Even though Arsenal ended the first half with a 1-2 lead over Manchester City, the open game seemed more entertaining in the second half. But because of the red card, Arsenal had to change their game and try to maintain the victory, but in the end they failed.
I would probably agree with you that Arsenal might not be able to win City even if they had the full team play till the end of the match but I would give you the benefit of doubt that sometimes in football the best or most adored teams always gives a reason not to think that losses are impossible. in every week there is always one surprise that comes in the premier league and I wouldn't be surprised to see that city will have to give us that surprise by lossing to another team, I'm not saying arsenal would be the team to take the win if it was possible but it's just a regular case that happens although it may not have happened in the case of city but in the history of football it always happens that one team gives the world a big shock and that is inevitable.

Having Haaland in City makes it a great chance that they would keep wining even when it's a very strong team that they are up against but surprises are not out yet. let's keep watching.

I am so dissappointed today after Arsenal conceded a last second goal to give Manchester City and equalizer after they strougled from the beginning of the second half to the very last minute.
I wish Trosard was not giving a red card,it would have been the first time Arteta would beat Guardiola in his home.
However,I must commend Arsenal's bravery and how good they were in defending the game, and I know the last minute goal came when both  Calafiori and Timber left the pitch due to injuries, and replaced them with Lewis Kelly and Kiwior.Credit to Arsenal on this one.

In today's game pep was not happy with some of their defender they give chance to Arsenal to hit the ball and pep did not want them to hit they want them to rush on the player and snatch the ball or not providing enough space to hit the ball towards goal easily. i think It was not disappointing but the last minute equalizer from Man City and the commentary of Peter Drury makes everything perfect for todays Sunday and weekend.

We can say that two points gone for Arsenal. Arsenal would have won this game if Trossard hadn't been sent off. They actually held on well in the second half but conceded a goal in the last moments of extra time. Manchester City had 33 shots in the match, but they scored at the last moment and got 1 point. If they had asked him before the match if he would accept 1 point at Etihad, Arteta probably would have accepted it, but after seeing the game, especially after the first half, Arsenal must have regretted losing 2 points. For the first time this season Manchester City didn't get 3 points, which is a good thing for other teams in the long run.
Mikel Arteta's Arsenal did gave their best today but unfortunately for them, their best wasn't just enough and couldn't stop them from losing two points from the game. After Trossard was shown the red card towards the end of the first half of the game, I was of the opinion that Arsenal are going to lose the game but little did I know that they'll hold on the their lead until the stoppage time that Manchester City's second half substitute John Stone scored the equalizer.
Football wasn't just fare to Arsenal today but I think they can continue to improve after the today's result

This game is going in a surprising way, Arsenal likely going to defeat Manchester City at their home soil, not only that ,but this victory will be a significant one, which will put Arsenal football club on top of the premier league table this very week. This season so far is becoming another super interesting just as what started happening towards the end of last season league, which saw the big teams switch their position in the league table almost each week. Arteta and his men has done incredibly well in this match, which the team is becoming more formidable as the season progresses.
The match ended with a score of 2-2, Arsenal who continued to try to defend after a 2-1 lead and also lost one player in the match managed to hold Manchester City until the 90+7 minute, but unfortunately they were unable to keep save the victory that had been in front of their eyes after the crisis that occurred in front of the Arsenal goal was able to be used well by the Stones to score an equalizer,  To be honest I didn't think Arsenal would have been able to win that the game previously, but it turned out that they were able to show a very strong mentality today even though they failed to get full points in today game, Manchester City did manage to avoid defeat at the Etihad Stadium today, but I think Arsenal have won everyone hearts today with their toughness againts manchester city, Seeing what happened throughout the second half, it is appropriate for Arsenal to thank Raya who continues to be agile in repelling every Manchester City attack.
Playing one man down with about 6 yellow card on an away game against a football team like Manchester City is undefendable at some point, especially when the red came in during the first half game, City would do everything not to lose that match with their opponent on a red card let alone when it's also played at home, But not withstanding, I really commend Arsenal's effort and morals going to City's home soil and were able to held them into lock horns and until the final whistle.
What a classy sunday it is and a brilliant game by top teams the display of football is amazing . Simply incredible to watch todays game . Arsenal was just short to clinch the Victory from Man City at their home in such a Brilliant way with 10 man in the team.

Why do Manchester united fans even have to be proud? Most Manchester United fans claimed they dominated the match, but all they could get after the final whistle was blown was just 1 point.
That's what a fan does. If a fan can not feed their team with positive vibe than what's the point to support the team. Full disclosure, not a Utd fan LOL
Currently Manchester United's level has dropped which makes a draw like a win for them, even though the team they are facing is not a top team. Lol
Manchester United fans must accept the fact that the team they are proud of now is not the team like in the past where they were very strong not only in the Premier League, but even in Europe. Now they are just an ordinary team despite their status as a big team, because what we judge now is their game not the history they have ever recorded.
I think they have been in this situation for too long, and I think one of the problems lies in the management who cannot manage this team well. Manchester United must be in the right hands if they want to return to their former glory.
Man U did not played according to the plans and i am offend how Ten Hag run this team its completely offend their fans and those who watch the game. A goal less game against CP is a win for CP who currently hold 16th place in a table and almost going towards relegation.

Liverpool and Tottenham played very well in their matches because both managed to achieve fairly convincing victory even though their opponents were the lower ranks, but at least they managed to secure 3 full points and remain competitive for comfortable place in the standings.
Both of these matches also gave me successful bet with an odd of @2.04.

There is big match this week and that is the meeting between Manchester City and Arsenal, previously Arsenal played well against Tottenham by getting win then played quite badly against Atalanta in the UCL competition.
I doubt that today match against team like Manchester City can be an easy match for Arsenal considering they are still in player crisis problem, moreover Manchester City is playing at home which will give them an advantage to be able to beat Arsenal.
Manchester City looks to be the favorite, I take betting at Manchester City for this match.

Both teams played very well in their games and the result was according to the fans expectation. Liverpool showed their class but a previous lose hurt them alot but it is the start of EPL and as a LFC fan we hope that LFC will be on the top of the table before completion of this year.

You are disappointed because you bet that Arsenal will win but they didn't or you are mad because you never wanted Manchester City to..equalized in the first place? You know there is wasn't any way to play that match like the way they did in the second half. From the beginning of the second half, Arsenal played defensive game throughout but despite the struggle and counter strike back and front, they yielded in the last minute against Manchester City.

I see Trosard as a fool who is not serious player. There are some matches you don't joke around, Manchester City and Arsenal are one hell of a Derby because the two teams are among the favorites to win the Premier League and he had the audacity to kick the ball for wasting time. I didn't like how the referee gave the card but the yellow card is something warning any player could get for misbehaving but unfortunately, Trosard already had a warning from the beginning and the referee could have just tempered mercy.

I am so dissappointed today after Arsenal conceded a last second goal to give Manchester City and equalizer after they strougled from the beginning of the second half to the very last minute.
If you were in that field you would have felt the heat from Manchester United during the last minute. And it is not easy to play 10 against 11 men in the Premier League especially when you are against Manchester City. It was annoying when Trossard was given that red card because I knew since Arsenal had taken the lead, they would defend to win the game. But it was unfortunate for them. The same incident that happened in the Tottenham game made Tottenham equalized. To be honest, it has cost Arsenal a lot because they were supposed to have won the 3 points from Tottenham and Manchester City today, but they ended up taking only two points because of a red card.

In the end, it was Raya who had saved lots of balls if not Manchester City would have won the game. Am so happy with the improvement Arteta has made in the team. Currently, any team facing Arsenal should be ready to take the smoke. It's not going to be easy for the next team.
