Manchester United's performance was not at all acceptable, as they lost the match against Rosenborg's team. Rosenborg Football team won the match against Man United football team.  Match was fighting and both teams gave their hundred percent to win the match. N. E. J. Holm  was a top performer of the match because he did single goal of the game and no one could goal after the first goal.  Match was performed in Lerkendal Stadion stadium and that stadium was lucky for Rosenborg team.  Many Man United fans expected that they will win this match but that was only expectation and that was not reality. The were best in all things and that's why they are winners of the match and  Man United are loser of this match.

I agree with you on this, sometimes it takes time for a football club to adapt to a new coaching style of a new manager, I think Liverpool may find it very difficult to scale through next season, although we know them to be a good team, however, lets see how events unfold now that a new manager is fully in charge of the team, as for arteta, i think he is a good manager, his team performance last season was good despite that they were unable to win the trophy, Arsenal will have to figure out how to maintian their lead once they are toping the league table in other to win the English premiweship title, although we can't dispute the fact that as far as the English premier League is concern, Arsenal remains one of the major contenders in the league but in as much as we don't know who will lift the trophy next season, I still beleive that Manchester city is the best team in the English premier League and can still win the trophy again this time unless arsenal will have to prove that fact otherwise next season.

I agree it was not an important match for Manchester United. It was a friendly match. So Manchester United did not take this match seriously. Even if the match was a draw, I would have said that since the match is not important, Manchester United players did not give much effort to win this match. But Manchester United lost this match. Yes the competition between these two clubs will continue next season, because if you look at it Arteta still wants to try to break Manchester City dominance while the club is coached by Pep Guardiola. For example in the competition for the standings table, Arsenal points in the 22/23 season were only 84, while Manchester City 89 meant Arsenal -5. Then in the 23/24 season Arsenal collect 89 points and Manchester City 91, which means the difference is only -2.

So next season will be the only big opportunity for Arsenal to solidify the points difference. Statistically it won't be far off but again quality and mentality have their respective roles and it depends on the Arsenal players and the coach.

You are right that was the excuse of most people that because it was a pre season match that was why Manchester United did not put so much efforts to win, I totally disagree with that because is this way Manchester United was buying in this finished premier League season, however some say that the reason why they did not win was because they did not use all there players, actually even if they did not use the complete players but the current players they used on that match was supposed to win Rosenborg, though I'm not against Manchester United because on the contrary they are one of my best club but there inconsistency this time is too much.

If Ten hag is able to return Manchester United to its best form again, then it does not rule out the possibility that Manchester United will compete again, at least in the race for tickets to the Champions League. Just like in the 2022-2023 season, when Manchester United managed to finish in 3rd place. And yes, it looks like Manchester United will make big changes there. But I doubt if this club will compete for the title with Arsenal and Manchester City. And for Liverpool, they will indeed start a new season with a new coach. If Man United has made a lot of improvements I believe their performance will improve but if they keep the existing players like last season I'm not sure Man United will perform well next season (IMO).

I least expect to see Manchester United in your list but you surprised me. I don’t know what you have seen in Manchester United or the angle you accessed them from that makes you think they will return to tittle race in the coming season. Of course, no one can tell how each of these teams will perform next season but from all indications, I don’t see any signs of seriousness in Manchester United that will make me to rate them among title contenders.

As for City and Arsenal, I still foresee a close competition between them and probably Arsenal will make a difference this time. Liverpool on the other hand might still maintain a spot in the top four despite the changes in their management crew.

Manchester City has shown consistent performance in the last few seasons, as has Arsenal, so there is no doubt that these two teams will remain the same next season because there are no significant changes that have occurred in these two teams.
And other top Premier League teams such as Liverpool, Chelsea or Manchester United are in trouble so it is difficult for them to be able to keep up with or compete fiercely with Manchester City and Arsenal, realistically, even though we know that in football there are many surprises and anything can happen.
