I like to treat everyone as a friend 🔹

Today there will be a pre-season match for Manchester United who will face a team from Norway, namely Rosenberg. Surely this will be a test match for Erik Ten Hag's strategy before the EPL starts again in August. Maybe Erik ten Hag will try some new things like rotating players or something else and also yesterday we saw that Sancho, who returned to training, might also be used.

On the other hand, Joshua Zirkhee will definitely also be involved and even though he has just been announced, we certainly can't wait to see his performance with Manchester United. Apart from all that, I think whoever wins will have no influence and the most important thing is that both teams can compete tactically in this match.
Rosenborg Football team won the match against Man United football team.  Match was fighting and both teams gave their hundred percent to win the match. N. E. J. Holm  was a top performer of the match because he did single goal of the game and no one could goal after the first goal.  Match was performed in Lerkendal Stadion stadium and that stadium was lucky for Rosenborg team.  Many Man United fans expected that they will win this match but that was only expectation and that was not reality. The stat of Rosenborg team was more stronger than Manchester United team and Rosenborg team played 22 shots in the match from which  7 were on target and that possession percentage of Rosenborg was also high and that was 55 percent. The were best in all things and that's why they are winners of the match and  Man United are loser of this match.

Manchester United's performance was not at all acceptable, as they lost the match against Rosenborg's team. Although this game was expected by most people to be won by Manchester United, the result was United losing by one goal. At present, with the performance that Manchester United is going forward with, it is never possible to be in the last position in the English league. Although Rosenberg had the ball most of the time, and they attacked strongly, Manchester United could not suppress this attack and instead conceded a goal and lost the match. If Manchester United plays with such a result this season, surely they will not be able to occupy a good position in the points table, but they need to improve their game, and build a good squad.

Pre-season games usually don't have any motivation for the top clubs to win the game. Yes, I agree that in this match both teams gave one hundred percent of their abilities. But this is not the first time a top team from the English league has lost to a mediocre team. I think Manchester United really made this a game to test a lot of different tactics. Rosenborg scored a goal late in the game so I think both teams played very well. But a defeat is still a defeat and Ten Hag also said that this was not the performance United should have.
Pre-season matches are more accurately described as an opportunity for young players to show their talents. Those who are given the trust of the coach to take part in the tour before the league starts will try to give their best performance to get the opportunity to play in the first team. Match results are not the main motivation for big clubs because the quality of the players fielded is very different from senior players. This defeat also became a consideration for Ten Hag in formulating a strategy when the season started, now he is free to experiment to find the best strategy that can be applied in official matches.

The players are also a consideration for the coach, there will be an evaluation if their performance does not improve. Ten Hag must focus more on the unity of the players to get maximum results, last season's failure is a valuable lesson for him in order to look forward to a better season.

I don't think much problem with bad result of Manchester United pre season match after defeating by Rosenborg B.K because most of youth players, Erik ten Hag would give more minute playing for young players and combined with any senior players such as Casemiro, Mason Mount and Marcus Rshford.
Manchester United's tactician Erik ten Hag not priority with winning result on pre season match, he want see which one any young potential players promote to senior team next season and he want see new players will adapt well with his tactician or not.

After facing Rosenborg B.K, three days later Manchester United have second pre season match against Ranger and I think Erik ten Hag will give more minutes playing for young players and not priority must win on pre season match.

And besides, the opponents are not very good, to say the least. These matches will really show nothing, except to calm down MU fans for a while, but nothing more than that. When the season starts, they may start showing terrible results again. Besides, they may do well in the first half of the season but completely fail in the second half, there's no guessing, and all the responsibility will still fall on Ten Hag's shoulders.

These matches are very deceptive, that is like the friendlies that the South American teams show before the qualifiers, they never show what they have, they only show it in official matches, in the case of MU they belong to a league that is the most demanding in the world so far, so these matches are useful for the players to get to the level, understand each other ,  be able to try strategies, see how the top teams are, if it is worth it or not, these are the things that help.

Manchester United’s Erik Ten Hag Fumes After Loss to Norwegian Team in Preseason

Of course, even though there is a similar vision between Klopp and Arne Slot, there still has to be something that is characteristic of Arne Slot and that will definitely happen.

And for me this is what will make the team initially unite and take Slot with a lot of respect, because they already come with a job done, with a marked trajectory, and making corrections to the vulnerabilities they had previously, Liverpool seems to me to have a lot of potential if Slot knows how to exploit it.

It's quite unfortunate that Man United is not really serious in pursuing Amadou Onana and it is very likely that the player will soon join Aston Villa. To be honest, I really hope that Man United can sign the Belgian defensive midfielder because Onana will not only make Man United stronger next season, but the player has the characteristics of a tough water carrier that Man United has not had for a long time. Apart from that, there is another effect if Amadou Onana joins Aston Villa (or another team), which will make Everton even more reluctant to let Jarrad Branthwaite go.

You're obviously reading and accepting all you see online ( X I believe. ). Amadou Onana I'll say is no bad player, but Manchester United making moves for him wouldn't happen. Like I normally say, playing for Manchester United has got to do with a whole lot, you need more than skill, you need to have both personality and character, likewise high standards, you need to set your standards high even before you can play for a top club like Manchester United. Manchester United never made approach for him in between.

If Man United has made a lot of improvements I believe their performance will improve but if they keep the existing players like last season I'm not sure Man United will perform well next season (IMO).

Jonathan Tah? He is strongly linked with a move to Bayern Munich. He wants Bayern Munich and they want him as well, all Manchester United did was to inquire about the player, no further advances has been made for him. He was part of the players that helped Bayern Leverkusen win the Bundesliga League Competition last season. I haven't watched him closely so I cannot say what I don't know. I agree with you, Erik Ten Hag needs a strong base to thrive, it was key to success in his first season for the red devils ( Manchester United )

They're already having medicals for Yoro today.... God knows how strong Manchester United will be if they partner Yoro and Lisandro Martinez together. Furthermore, De Ligt is another name to be signed after this deal for Yoro has been finalized.

Finally Manchester United will also see Victor Lindelof and Aaron Wan Bisakka leaving for both West Ham United and Fenerbache.

I am happy that bitLeap came in swiftly in the ongoing discussion. LUCKYMCFLY and the other had believed that Slot is gonna take up the energies of Klopp. Things are not always like that, even if Slot and Klopp share similar ideology they are still different personalities. The worst mistake slot will make in Liverpool is building on the legacies and ideologies of Jürgen Klopp. He must have to develop his own strategies and enconcate same into the boys. It is better that Liverpool fans do not have high hopes, they should not expect the continue with the momentum of Klopp. Even if the best coach in the world has to take over from club, there must still be some lapses that will be fixed in few seasons and not automatically.

Also Liverpool management should learn to trust their new coach and give him sometime to adapt just like as Arsenal did to Arteta. If they expect him to perform miracle, he will definitely not perform that miracle and if he is eventually dismissed, I am afraid that Liverpool will have to face the same fate as Manchester United since ever Alex Ferguson left as the head coach.
Of course, even though there is a similar vision between Klopp and Arne Slot, there still has to be something that is characteristic of Arne Slot and that will definitely happen. You are right that everything has changed for any club that wants to develop, they must be able to keep up with the times where today football has a more modern format. For this reason, Arne Slot is required to provide a different atmosphere as well as continuing Jurgen Klopp legacy.

If you look at Arsenal now, Arteta has shown many new things because he is truly fully supported by Arsenal management to manage the team according to Arteta principles. So Liverpool must be able to fully trust Arne Slot, apart from the first season, we will still be waiting for what kind of breakthrough Arne Slot will show to all Liverpool fans.

Anxiety over the fate of Man United will be a reflection for the top teams in the EPL, after Sir Alex legacy does not seem to leave any legacy. There were serious problems starting from the players, coaches and management within it. Hopefully Liverpool will not suffer the same fate, as long as they stick to the club's principles and philosophy, whoever the coach will show the same characteristics.

You are right here, throughout the past three seasons we have seen good performances from Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester City fighting to finish first in the English premier league and Manchester City has been the victorious one. This new season I still have much expectation from Liverpool and Arsenal to seize the opportunity and take the title from Manchester City.

It would not be fun anymore since only one team has been on top for the past three years without even a break of at least one year. My favorite pick for the upcoming season remains Arsenal. They have played so well for two seasons and they deserve a trophy.

I have my doubts about Liverpool because a change of manager can have a significant impact on the team, so there are doubts there. But Arteta can try to achieve his goal of winning the Premier League, Arsenal spent the last season very well, according to statistical indicators they were the best in the league and they lacked just a little. For me, Arsenal is still City's most real competitor, which has a chance to take away their title and break their dominance in the Premier League.

I agree with you on this, sometimes it takes time for a football club to adapt to a new coaching style of a new manager, I think Liverpool may find it very difficult to scale through next season, although we know them to be a good team, however, lets see how events unfold now that a new manager is fully in charge of the team, as for arteta, i think he is a good manager, his team performance last season was good despite that they were unable to win the trophy, Arsenal will have to figure out how to maintian their lead once they are toping the league table in other to win the English premiweship title, although we can't dispute the fact that as far as the English premier League is concern, Arsenal remains one of the major contenders in the league but in as much as we don't know who will lift the trophy next season, I still beleive that Manchester city is the best team in the English premier League and can still win the trophy again this time unless arsenal will have to prove that fact otherwise next season.

Yes, Manchester City and Arsenal will certainly compete again for the Premier League trophy next season. The reason is that these two teams have had very consistent performance in the last few seasons, therefore it can be guaranteed that next season these two teams will definitely continue to play with extraordinary performance. Moreover, currently Manchester City and Arsenal have not made any changes to their squad. The reason is that in this transfer market the two teams did not buy many players. Arsenal have just brought in David Raya, while Manchester City have not brought in any new players. So with this we can conclude that the management and coaches of the two teams (Man City and Arsenal) are still very confident that the current squad will be able to compete fiercely next season. Then talking about Liverpool, I think their performance next season will not be much different from this season. Even though it is true that currently Liverpool's coaching chair is no longer occupied by Klopp, but I am still confident that Liverpool will be able to maintain consistent performance well. Maybe the problem that Liverpool players will face next season is just having to adapt to their new coach and as you said, this will definitely take a long time. However, I still believe that even though the Liverpool players have not fully adapted to their new coach, they will definitely be able to maintain their best performance. And regarding Manchester United, I am sure that Ten Hag's team will not be able to compete fiercely in the Premier League next season, let alone become champions. Because after I saw Manchester United's performance against Rosenborg, I increasingly distrusted Manchester United.
Many now doubt Erik Ten Hag after he failed to bring good results to Man United last season. And yes, that's very natural because everyone now just wants proof from A Ten Hag next season.

Man City and Arsenal are indeed one of the teams that have not made many moves in the current player transfer window. And maybe they are still confident in the depth of their current squad and don't plan to make many changes again for next season. They will probably only make small changes in terms of improving their strategy and trying some new compositions with the same squad. But there is no doubt that their quality will still be the best next season. And regarding Liverpool, maybe they will still be able to play well, although maybe not as well as when Klopp was around. but if Arne Slot is suitable there and can be well received by the players there then I think the adaptation process can go quite quickly there. And made Liverpool immediately return to their best performance.

It seems Man City and Arsenal will both remain in the title race. Not much has changed between the two, mostly just the addition of new signings to strengthen their respective squad. Meanwhile, for Liverpool, it looks like it won't be easy for them because they will be facing the season with a new coach, and I guess they won't be able to tune in quickly. There is one team that I think will return to the title race next season, and that is Man United. They are making major changes for next season and have seriously prepared for it all.

Is so sad that the season has not really started and Manchester United has already started showing a lot of weakness on there performance because I was thinking that since they have been disappointing there fans they would at least show them something that would make them believe they are coming back next season with a lot of positive changes but they always keep failing, though if there key players was not on that match I would have actually believe that is the reason but this time they were all complete on the match but still they could not win Rosenborg,
I heard people say that it was just an ordinary pre season match, that it doesn't matter if Manchester United win or lose. I understood that it was a pre-season match and Manchester United did not play with their first 11. However it is a match against Manchester United and during preparation there also need to be capacity, so it was expected from Manchester United to win or at worse scenario they should draw the match.
You are right that was the excuse of most people that because it was a pre season match that was why Manchester United did not put so much efforts to win, I totally disagree with that because is this way Manchester United was buying in this finished premier League season, however some say that the reason why they did not win was because they did not use all there players, actually even if they did not use the complete players but the current players they used on that match was supposed to win Rosenborg, though I'm not against Manchester United because on the contrary they are one of my best club but there inconsistency this time is too much.

I agree it was not an important match for Manchester United. It was a friendly match. So Manchester United did not take this match seriously. But my point is, if Manchester United don't take this match seriously, will they lose against a team like Rosenborg? We don't even know the Rosenborg group. Manchester United lost against such a team. This is really sad and shameful.

Even if the match was a draw, I would have said that since the match is not important, Manchester United players did not give much effort to win this match. But Manchester United lost this match. However, after having talented players like Rashford, Mount and Casemiro in United's squad, Manchester United's performance was very poor. I highly doubt that Ten Hag will be able to stabilize this team next season.

That is the evidence of a potential managers, because if you watch all those three teams very well in the last two seasons and this season too, you will agree with me that their managers are the sources of their excellent performance. Arsenal manager has done something surprised in this season, that is making Arsenal fans to hope in their manager to lead the team to victory next season, because they where able to came out second position this season in the premier League competition. I don't think, Manchester City manager will allow your favorite team to embrace the title next season, because their manager is still fully with Manchester city which he will do things that will still make his players more active and dedicated to good performance that will make them to achieve another premier league title next season.

It seems Man City and Arsenal will both remain in the title race. Not much has changed between the two, mostly just the addition of new signings to strengthen their respective squad. Yes the competition between these two clubs will continue next season, because if you look at it Arteta still wants to try to break Manchester City dominance while the club is coached by Pep Guardiola. Arteta ambition was clear from the start that he wanted to conquer Pep Guardiola in the EPL. Arsenal every season produces positive results but they are not insignificant. For example in the competition for the standings table, Arsenal points in the 22/23 season were only 84, while Manchester City 89 meant Arsenal -5. Then in the 23/24 season Arsenal collect 89 points and Manchester City 91, which means the difference is only -2.

So next season will be the only big opportunity for Arsenal to solidify the points difference. Statistically it won't be far off but again quality and mentality have their respective roles and it depends on the Arsenal players and the coach.

If Ten hag is able to return Manchester United to its best form again, then it does not rule out the possibility that Manchester United will compete again, at least in the race for tickets to the Champions League. Just like in the 2022-2023 season, when Manchester United managed to finish in 3rd place. And yes, it looks like Manchester United will make big changes there. But I doubt if this club will compete for the title with Arsenal and Manchester City. And for Liverpool, they will indeed start a new season with a new coach. But there are not many changes in the Liverpool squad. And it seems like the strategy used by Klopp and Slot is still quite similar. So Liverpool players might be able to adapt quite quickly. but yeah, expecting Liverpool to compete again with Arsenal and Manchester City doesn't seem like a big possibility. Because the adaptation process will sometimes temporarily reduce the team's performance slightly. But if Arne Slot turns out to be able to directly improve Liverpool, then that will be an interesting surprise next season.

If the games of all the clubs don't change then the big possibility is that Arsenal and Man City will still control the top flight of the Premier League, and Liverpool will still be the third party that will tackle both of them like last season, whether Liverpool with their new coach is capable or not, in my opinion.  will proceed according to the continuation of Kloop's previous tactics because it is impossible for Liverpool's new coach to overhaul all the links and the way he plays.

One club has been winning the trophy in the past few seasons, and no club has been able to take them down. That’s really an interesting one, and my favorite to win the next Premier League remains Manchester City. I don’t care if it’s fun or not.

Despite the unavoidable facts, Manchester City is still the favorite to win the EPL title again and perhaps even though there was quite tight competition at the start of the season, at the end of the season Manchester City can always turn around their situation at the top of the standings.

If we look at other teams such as Chelsea and Liverpool, they are still in the process of transitioning to new coaches. On the other hand, Spurs and Manchester United still cannot be said to be worthy of their inconsistency. Apart from that, even though only Arsenal can be said to be worthy of joining the competition, I think they will still be plagued by the same problems and will not be able to match Manchester City's record.

But how do you see Aston Villa? remembering that the team coached by Unai Emery performed brilliantly last season and briefly felt at the top of the standings. Will they still be a threat to the big six this time?

I'm not even gonna lie, I have big expectations for Manchester United this season, but that can only happen if the management get the defenders lined up to be signed and then a new midfielder, maybe a new defensive midfielder for sqaud depth.
Joao Neves and Martin Martin Zubimendi are defensive midfielders who have been linked with Manchester United. These players have attracted the attention of several clubs so if Man United are interested they must immediately make a deal, the club really needs to look for better players than last season to improve next season's performance because Casemiro's performance continues to decline and Man United cannot continue to rely on him.

Leverkusen defender Jonathan Tah has also been linked with Manchester United. He guarded Leverkusen's defensive wall last season and yes, Man United needs strong back line players, because last season Man United's defense was too weak, the club must be able to make a good offer to Leverkusen to releas this player

I least expect to see Manchester United in your list but you surprised me. I don’t know what you have seen in Manchester United or the angle you accessed them from that makes you think they will return to tittle race in the coming season. Of course, no one can tell how each of these teams will perform next season but from all indications, I don’t see any signs of seriousness in Manchester United that will make me to rate them among title contenders.

As for City and Arsenal, I still foresee a close competition between them and probably Arsenal will make a difference this time. Liverpool on the other hand might still maintain a spot in the top four despite the changes in their management crew.

There are chances of winning for every club, it all depends on hardwork. We should be able to acknowledge the fact that Manchester City have what it takes for leading and winning becomes very important for them. Pep Guardiola is here to ensure he's giving everything for the best outcome for himself, because he has a reputation to protect and also his club becomes a priority for winning. You sound like other elite clubs will relent next season because Manchester City and Arsenal have been real preeminent rivals for the EPL title back to back.
Manchester City has shown consistent performance in the last few seasons, as has Arsenal, so there is no doubt that these two teams will remain the same next season because there are no significant changes that have occurred in these two teams.
And other top Premier League teams such as Liverpool, Chelsea or Manchester United are in trouble so it is difficult for them to be able to keep up with or compete fiercely with Manchester City and Arsenal, realistically, even though we know that in football there are many surprises and anything can happen.
