I totally agree with you here and even for me as a Spurs player,,, if Eriksen continued to play for us the way he did, we would be worse off, so I am happy he went to leave to see them all others in Inter Milan. For sure, I think they are better suited there. Zlatan going to Italy says a lot about the pace there as they would definitely not survive in EPL.

Mata also too slow now for EPL.

To play on the EPL must have a nimble and fast performance in feeds and attacks if it's slow then I don't think it will be used by the club itself because it's not interesting to look at.
But the game is suitable in Serie A because the match there is different from EPL so many players go to Serie A
Lukaku, Sanchez, Young and Eriksen would be good to play with Inter Milan because such games are good enough in the Serie A league.

I agree and I think the Premier League is a very fast paced league. In this league we rarely see a big number of relatively older players like it is common to see in Italy,Spain and perhaps a bit in Germany also.Mata has been a fantastic player when he was playing at Valencia but quite a few years have passed since then and of course the years are starting to feel for him too.

Therefore the English league is one of the most favored leagues because many reliable players as well as low teams are able to overthrow heavy opponents. The English league match has many surprises in its matches.
I don't like old players playing on EPL that will slow down the game and it won't be much to glance at games like that.

I just realized when looking at Inter lineup just how many players they have who were last season and even this season playing for English Premier League! In fact,,, watching them might almost feel like watching EPL. Now what do you guys think of this,,, Sanchez, Lukaku and Young from Manchester United! Inter look so strong now, especially after coming down from 0-2 to win like this.

You know they need just one more win and slip from Juve to take top.

Let’s face it though Lukaku, Sanchez & Young weren’t great in the PL before they left were they? Young & Sanches especially are way past their peaks & the slower pace of Serie A will suit them.

It’d be nice to see somebody other than Juve win the title for once.

The last 16 CL draw between Man City & Real really should be a fun 2 games to watch. Both teams play football the way it’s supposed to be player (attacking).

In reality both squads have seen better days & many of the star players are past their peaks but it’ll be two electric games, no doubt.
I think this is the first time we will see both teams play against each other in an official match although Man City have won before in a friendly match I think they still have a great chance to get past Real Madrid despite being not at their best this season so why I think that they can beat Madrid that is for two reasons Pep have lost the league and he his now turning his focus on what the owners brought him to did that is winning the UCL also Real Madrid is not the same team since Ronaldo left and he left a big show that Bale didn't fit in.

This is a match worth watching in the ladder 27. Both teams have a good performance at the moment it's just that Mancity EPL is left behind so the dream won't be repeated.
UCL being the main target is indeed true this is Pep's seriousness to focus on UCL in the next week the mini will make an appearance for the players later I like now Mancity who continues to dominate attacking with a stronger defense.

This is sad but we cannot fight with weather or nature disasters because these are not in any control they can happen any time so Manchester City is facing this right now its truly bad because they are going to face Real Madrid which is also in very good position and players doing good in recent matches.

tokeweed, no dogg, the Man City game was postponed due to bad weather. I think the game would have been fine to go ahead. It was probably called off due to fan safety plus West Ham away fans would have travelled via train & I think loads of trains were suspended due to the terrible wind.

I think that this was bad for Manchester City as they are going to play this game when their ficture would be more tight.
Champions League games are coming and they don't have the option to lose more points in the Premier League as they are already too far behind. I hope this postponement would not affect them.

I thought the Manchester City vs West Ham match was going to be played this evening only to check in my sofascore app and saw that it was postponed. Does anyone know the reason for the postponement?

Ah...  I thought it was the nCoV thing reaching Europe.  That's been going around quite a lot in the news.  Lolol.  Even events outside of China (but at Asia) have been postponed or cancelled.

Players performance is influenced by a number of factors, and one of the major ones is proper management and I believe this was lacking (and still is) in the Manchester United technical area. We see players blossoming under managers like Klopp and Pep, but it's difficult to pick out a single player who sustained growth at Man Utd so far under Ole's management.

Lukaku was still a top player and had performed in the EPL, so I doubt it was the high pace that got to him, rather he wasn't getting the boosters he is getting at Milan now.

Serie A is very good league for elder players. There are many good players had their great seasons at the end of their careers in Serie A. It is not strange to see football stars do well when they are above 35 years old in Serie A. The impressive return of Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the Derby Della Madonnina yesterday is a good evidence for that. Sanchez and Young have good pace so they do have many opportunities to take advantage of it.

Every domination has to end in some seasons and somehow. The domination of Lyon in League 1 finally ended years ago (after they won 7 or 8 titles in a row, as I remembered). Mostly, when a domination of one club ends, they will lose their first positions for many years to come back. In Premier League, we have the evidence from Liverpool (they need decades to come back) and Manchester United recent years (after the retirement of Sir. Alex Ferguson).

Thanks for the info. I guess the game might then be played within a week since this game week is stretched out. I wonder why they had to stretch all this game week's 10 games throughout the whole 2 weekends thou. This weekend was so boring on Premier League's side... Some of us had to seek refugee in Italia's Seria A  Cheesy
Someone is feeling like me, I already whined about it  Tongue
Dortmund yesterday and Inter today games were amazing. At the opposite Barca one was bad, very bad.
But lets stick in the EPL here since next weekend seems to be interesting Wink

The barely interesting game this weekend in EPL was reported due to the bad weather...
Hopefully there was some alternatives elsewhere  Undecided

They come on top against a team which is in a bad situation. If these players of EPL of last year were really strong then I think Inter would not have a lot of draws against low ranking teams and at their home field.

It was a 93mph storm which cancelled some flights and also the match of Manchester City yesterday while he other games were all boring to watch.

Frankly i do think it was a beautiful performance from inter milan, but NO! they are not a strong team.
Against any of the big teams in europe or serie a, inter milan will not come back from a 2 nil loss to win the match.

The win against milan was due to the poor performances of the milan players at the second half of the match.

But lets see in a few weeks, what will come off Inter milan by match day 35.
