I thought the Manchester City vs West Ham match was going to be played this evening only to check in my sofascore app and saw that it was postponed. Does anyone know the reason for the postponement?

What a boring weekend it has been so far. None of the top flight teams played. Manchester City game against west ham that I was looking forward to was canceled earlier this afternoon. Can't wait for 15th – when Liverpool take out bottom placed Norwich City. We're definitely getting all 3 points considering the last time Norwich won Liverpool was in the 1993/1994 season. Elsewhere, Chelsea will be hosting Manchester United. Another game on my watchlist for week 26.

I believe Ighalo will be an instant hit at manchester united, and will provide the attacking spark and goal scoring threat that has been often missing in the United frontline.
I have a feeling he won't live up to the expectations at Manchester United. He's already 30. A much younger Lukaku even looked more promising before he joined United and guess what happened. I think there is a lot that needs to change at Old Trafford before the glory get back there.

Sorry guys but Ighalo is not for me going to make an impact, I agree. Benteke is to me a player a lot like him and even so he struggles to make big impact, is slow and not super creative. I do not doubt his finishing but if you do not very good suppliers around you, then do not expect to have many opportunities to convert,,,

I think it's not judged that way, Ighalo is premier league proven with his stint in average Watford
And to rebuff your point, Ighalo is indeed a fast player with beautiful hold up play, aggressive and strong.

He will offer more upfront for united than martial doea
Man Utd had been lacking a point man striker that is why they signed ighalo in the absence of injured Rashord the likes of Martial and greenwood are more or less a winger I remembered when barbartov, Lious Saha, Ronney are no 9 (striking role)  then they banged a lot of goals then, Ighalo would also want to prove his worth by helping Man Utd regain their form having played well with a short stint in Watford fc. I hope he proved his critics wrong by scoring goals for his new team.
I hope to see him succeed in the red shirt because he took a pay cut by half and United really need a true number9 and I think that if they get him the ball in front of the goal he will not miss also it will be a shame to see such talents that united have will not be playing in champions for another season and if they fail to reach ot for a second season they will never be a destination for good players and we are starting to see some players avoiding them I think United should make it a top priority to get in 4rth spot.

If Man Utd are expecting Ighalo to have a big impact on their season then it shows how far they’ve fallen. They really are a midtable team now aren’t they.
Surely they are because still they need some good coach for improving quality and still they have some more problems which are waiting for solved but sadly they are fail to do any positive thing for team look like they will hardly in top 7 this season because not top 5 sports already out of their reach.

Latest news coming from the Etihad now is that the Manchester city Vs West Ham game has been postponed "due to extreme weather conditions", for the fans who would have made their way to the Etihad this evening as well as millions of footballing viewing centers worldwide, they will have to wait for when the game will be rescheduled, I don't think pep and his team would like this development, they would just have wanted to get this game over with.

The barely interesting game this weekend in EPL was reported due to the bad weather...
Hopefully there was some alternatives elsewhere  Undecided

Mariappe goal was seriously weird, dude literally scored and it looked like he was trying to score as well, which really baffles me, we have seen thousands of own goals in soccer so far in history, hell maybe tens of thousands if we say history, but I do not remember a goal that looked like it could have been totally not scored and looked intentional in the way this goal was. I am not going to go into conspiracy stuff like maybe he was bribed etc etc, those do not make sense at all and never have made any sense before, I was just thinking these guys are playing 90 minute games and they are literally peak human condition people who posses both talent and physique, so maybe that at this very moment he just drew blank in his mind and assumed he was scoring and realized his mistake too late, he actually tried to score but realized it too late that it was his own goal that he was scored after the fact. Weirder things have happened so I do not assume any ill intend.

Brighton - Watford ( 1 - 1 )

man, i wonder how the watford coach’s sleep must have been. doucoure scored an excellent goal and Watford was winning the game and had everything to end that game with win, until Mariappa did the unthinkable: scoring a goal against his own team. I can't understand how he didn't see that he was scoring a goal against own team? the gesture he makes when scoring a goal seemed intentional. In any case, the coaches of these teams:

they must not be sleeping very well, the pressure on them must be very great in these next games

But Ighalo should supercede the expectations and do well, 15 goals is not too much to ask

He's probably a short-term fix. 15 goals are a lot (if you're serious about this). Even Pepe only made 3 goals irrc. I don't think there's a huge expectation & task like that. At least he should do better than Lingard and score one or two goals in an important match.

15 goals could be asking to much from Ighalo, but Pepe and Ighalo shouldn't be compared I'd because Pepe is playing on the wing, with either Aubameyang or Lacazette or both leading the line, Ighalo would be playing as the no 9, Another thing is that it was Pepe maiden season at England, while Ighalo have been around for a couple of years, that should be an added benefit.

Likewise, i feel like there's so much disorder in the manchester united team.
Which is why I like Ole handles the team, any one that takes over from Ole will have something solid to build upon.

The medical team in mufc is not up to task, while they have a toxic fanbase.

I found Chelsea vs ManU and Leicester vs Wolves games are the best these days.
Chelsea is good indeed and ManU has good players. Both teams have won only one time in the last five games in EPL with ManU losing 3 times... Chelsea Odds remain better imo but we may see surprises. I think Chelsea 2-1 ManU and Leicester 1-1 Wolves, maybe!

The match will not be held this week but next week.
This week's EPL match will only have 8 clubs competing
Everton vs Crystal Palace
Brighton vs Watford
Sheff Utd vs Bournemouth
Man City vs West Ham
you can see here https://www.premierleague.com/fixtures
In my opinion only the match between Man City vs West Ham is awaited to see if City can win 3 points to reduce the points gap from LFC.
Yeah i figured this out the hard way and I am disappointed this weekend... City game will be best than nothing tho... They should win by +2 or else they better find a way to play football correctly again!

Brighton will face Watford, it will be an important game for both teams especially the difference between both teams is just 3 points, Brighton with 26 points in the 15th place and Watford with 23 points in the 19th place, both teams will do their best to win this game and secure the 3 points, I will bet for over 3 goals in this game.

Huge game at the bottom of the table, Watford can’t really afford to lose this one. If Brighton win it’d be huge for them as it’d take them further away from the bottom.

Both teams settled for a draw. With only 12 games left to play, I feel Watford may be leaving the premier league for good. A quick look at the 2018/2019 season table shows that they finished 11th with 50 points not the best but it meant they could stay for yet another season but it looks as though that current campaign has come to an end. They better get back to winning ways once you go to championship, there's only a slight change that you'll be coming back in 2-3 years. Brighton did well to come back for the draw. It's one point or nothing at times like this Cheesy

As a Nigerian I would love to see him flourish at United. United are no longer the dominant team which the once were and in matches they find themselves spending lots of time without the ball. Ighalo would be a perfect fit as he plays with space picking out the chances and finishing it off.
Chelsea selection will be weird considering the champions league match, lets see whatever Lampard does.
Difficult to pick which fixture should get priority. The race for top four is heating up, and the blues would not want to drop points to the reds.
yeah ighalo had great two seasons with Watford where he scored 20 in his first and 15 in the second one he may not be as good as Rashford for United this season but he will do better with them as they are not doing well right now lacking that finishing touch but what is most important then ighalo is Bruno Fernandes this guy if he manages to keep doing what he have done in Portugal united will surely snatched that 4rth place this season or win the Europa league.

I think that Lampard is going to do rotation.
He shows big interest in Champions League games.
Bayern is going to be tired after the derby against Leipzig so it is a great chance for him to get an advantage in this knockout.
Now Lampard is doing good as in start too much problems for him but as time is running and he is gaining good experience which is helping him now they can stay in last four which is good for him in first season but still Bayern is big challenge which they can handle even its going to be very tough.
