Mourinho to Tottenham would result in a dynamic shift in their style of play and also the dressing room atmosphere. Pochetino complained a couple of times es about the players not following his instructions, while Jose has a way of instilling his philosophy into the team, but for a limited time. For now, it's just rumours, there are still other candidates for the job; Allegri is pretty good at managing a budget and would be a good fit at Spurs.

Next coach of Spurs can be Mou, there is any site where is already possible to bet on the next coach?

Rumours on Mou are all over the twitter.
Yeah while watching the euro qualifying tourney at halftime this was the headliner and not the score of the game which were being played. Cheesy
They even posted the title Tottenhams next permanent manager odds -
Jose mourinho 1-6
Rafa benitez   8-1
Carlo Ancelotti 9-1
Eddie howe    12-1
Julian nagelsmann 16-1
Massimiliano allegri 18-1
Brendan rodgers    20-1
Chris wilder     33-1

Most of the news outlets which caught this story are going with the favorite and saying jose will get the job before their next game.

So Spurs now have the balls to suck a man that brought back a little of glory to them like taking part in Champions League football without spending much on players?  Cheesy
I still feel such a kind of manager should have been given time... at least until the end of the season.

Who else thinks Spurs will just continue to crumble instead?

Big mistake sacking Pochettino at this stage. Why did they do it now? There are 8 Premier League games to play before the end of the year, they should have waited until after Christmas to review the situation.

Daniel Levy the chairman of Tottenham Hotspur sacked Harry Redknapp when there was talk about him becoming England manager just because Harry did not rule himself out. Unfortunately for him England rejected him and Tottenham sacked him. With Pochettino it seems the remarks he made about the players not trying in some of the games they played this season resulted in a semi-revolt by some players.

In those 5 years Tottenham really did well under Pochettino but never had a world-class marquee signing, he worked well on a shoe-string budget. Tottenham finished 2nd in the Premier League in the 2016/17 season finishing 7 points behind winners Chelsea but a massive 8 points ahead of 3rd placed Manchester City.

In the 5 years Pochettino was there, Tottenham really seemed like they could win the league on at least two occasions if they just added a couple of world class signings. The blame lay with Levy not Pochettino.

Sadly for Pochettino the biggest error he made while manager of Tottenham was not starting with Lucas in the Champions League final. He should have brought Kane on to play around the 70-75 minute mark.

Right now if we decided on social media then surely Mou is next boss of Spurs as its going one of hot topics around the world but if Spurs management bring Mou then surely they have to be some good amount for him as he is very active in transfer windows without this his works never been good.

There has been literally just 12 games in and we are talking about "who goes to European cups" already? I can guarantee you that we have no clue how the league will shape up even in the next few weeks let alone how it will shape up in the next 3-4 months and until the end.

I have to disagree with you even with just 12 games in for all of the teams this means that they have at least matched against another 12 teams this already shows their potential on who will be on top of the league table, 12 games is almost a third of the season as well so this is a good bearing to see or where will the teams will go at the end. Yes you might be surprised that Leicester and Sheffield are in the top 5 of the EPL but you can see them defeat teams like Arsenal, Everton, and Crystal Palace this just show how dominant they can be even if they aren't expected to perform this well early in the season. League changes are possible but I doubt there will be a lot of difference by the end of the season in terms of the positioning of the teams.

Chelsea could seriously compete for the title in a few seasons but they’re way too inexperienced at the moment. Liverpool and City have been there & done it, they are far better equipped for a season long assault at the big trophies.
except for the forward part of Chelsea other part of the field have experienced substitutes. However, if the team produce a better performance that secure a position at top 2, it will be shame on premiership.  Fortunately, Chelsea had produced a better performance at every change of manager but not in such a depth of inexperienced  crop of players. the 2 better teams, Liverpool and man city have fewer season for their top players to ware out

a lot of people praise chelsea as indeed their performance so far is promising.

with all the young players dominated the whole squad they are doubted by many but they are missing the point that the chelsea young squad are gaining experience right now , they are acquired it faster than any other ordinary young players.
i am backing chelsea with its doubted squad to challenge the english premier league title race besides manchester city and leicester city .

the next match will be really interesting to see if chelsea is seriously a threat for liverpool or just a hype?

Currently as it stands...

I see Manchester City winning that match but that would not dent Chelsea while they are part of the chasing pack. You are right Chelsea have played amazing football, I am surprised how easily Lampard has fitted in to the management role and how the players have bought in to the ethos. Well done to him for putting his faith in youth and taking risks even after the disastrous 0-4 loss at Manchester United on the opening day of the season.

I think Leicester will start slowing down and will not be part of the top three at the end of the season  but they will be 4th or 5th and it means Arsenal, Manchester United, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Tottenham Hotspur will try to end up in that 4th or 5th place.

Chelsea will be third and Liverpool and Manchester City will battle it out for the top spot but that could all change by the end of the year.

I have my bet on Chelsea winning Manchester city or atleast putting on a wonderful display to give her supporters some positive things to talk about and probably end up taking a point from the game. Lossing to Manchester United could be excuse as Lampard was still fresh and probably experimenting on the players and getting to know them. Lossing to Liverpool wasn' that disappointing to me as they're currently the best team in Europe and England but you see lossing to Manchester City, that would be just disappointing especially as City aren't the city they were two season back and not forgetting they have already lost 3 matches in just 12 games.

If Chelsea are to compete for the title be it in this season or future seasons, we have to fix our defense as their inexperience is costly us alot of goals.

So, let's calm down a bit, sure we can see how teams are doing and how the transfers have been for their new teams and all that but this is not the end ranking yet. United looks a bit loss on the field but have pure talent that is better than most of the league, they have been winning purely on their talent so far but if they can also get a cohesive team chemistry with a good strategy (tactic) they could actually finish even in top 3 because their talents are good enough except Liverpool and city of course.

Sheff UTD vs Manchester UNITED
Which one will be superior in this match because it is 1 point different then there is victory for Ole Gunnar because it will occupy position 5.

I know which team will  come out top in that fixture and it's Manchester United. Even if their form has been inconsistent  since the start of the season, I'm quite pumped that theyllease past Sheff Utd in that game.it might not really be a walk in the park kinda victory but ~ Victory is victory regardless of whether it was a hard fought one or not.

I keep on saying that the transfer ban was the best thing to have happened to Frank Lampards Chelsea team and with young squad he has done miraculously well even when they lost their season opening game against Manchester United so heavily, they were able to bounce back and now they are bound to qualify for the Champions League next season,  I agree that winning the EPL is quite a out of their reach when it comes to experience.

^  You haven't been watching.  Grin

^  It's not over.  There are more international fixtures (a lot) later and tomorrow.  So if you think your favorite footballers are risk free from injuries, don't hold your breath...  And don't make your bets just yet.  Wink

Did you see Van Dijk was allowed t go home for ‘personal reasons’ after their first game as they qualified Cheesy
Klopp probably rang up Koeman and said ‘please send my guy home now’.

Gomez & Hendo were sent back home too Wink

Klopp ‘doing a Fergie’.

Lol.  But I mean yeah, the international break has at times really become an inconvenience on club football.  For qualifying for Euro 2020 or the WC or something important, sure go ahead.  Play the best.  But for friendlies?  Nah...  It's not worth the risk.

Gotta admit you're right.  I totally underestimated Lampard (you'll be winning both our side bets).  But hey, at least I put my money where my mouth is.  Cheesy

This week there was a very interesting duel, Manchester City vs Chelsea. Do you think there will be a goal party at etihad? Seeing Chelsea's defense is a bit fragile this season. When it comes to scoring goals I don't doubt Chelsea at all. They have a very good attack line. However, the defense needs to be improved. However, there are many players from the two teams who play for their respective countries. I will bet Manchester City win this week.
Manchester City may be suffering from a lot of injuries at this very moment but that doesn't mean that Chelsea are going to be that much of a threat to them in the upcoming games. True Chelsea's defense has been a bit wobbly because they seem to concede a lot of goals whiles they score more. Manchester City defense is also ravaged with injuries with their goalkeeper currently out injured if no return date in sight.
So do you think the match will end in a draw? actually I hope Manchester City can win so they can again put pressure on Liverpool. I respect Chelsea as a big English club in the last 15 years. But this season is not theirs. City and Liverpool are better prepared. So I will be championing Mancester City to win regardless of the conditions of their current squad after the international break and his injury Ederson

But it is true in my opinion this prediction will end in a draw, remember Chelsea are also not easily uprooted by a large team Chelsea already have a good squad.
Lampard now knows how to deal with a big team so he will play talented young players.
I will not predict who the winner will be but the match ending in the series is already good for the Chelsea team.
