Manchester United have won the last three games, ending the draw series by winning Everton. I was very surprised to see the way with manager Hughes in Stoke City. The search continues in Stoke City. I look forward to Manchester United's willingness to start. I do not expect a very easy win.

So if Man United wins vs Stoke, which they will, that will make the gap with City down to 12 points.  That's still manageable imo.  If Mourinho gets that to even by April, it'll be one of the greatest comebacks in the EPL ever.  A part of me wants to see that happen even if it threatens us.  Grin

A game that will be remembered for a long time not only by the players, but also by the spectators. I do not remember when I last saw such an exciting match.

Finally Manchester City lose on Premier League in Liverpool hand, what a match though. The best premier league match in this year so far, both teams playing offensive and many chance created. We know it know the weakness of tiki taka strategy is gegen pressing, let's see if other team can do the same when against man city

wonderful match Liverpool vs Manchester City, perhaps the most beautiful match this season in the Premier League!
We have seen 7 goals of which some incredible(Firmino,Manè,Salah)
We have seen a great Liverpool, but also a Manchester City that under 4-1 has risked to draw 4-4.
This match was a great show

If football is played for 1OO minutes, surely the result will be different, the final result can be 4-4 or even 4-5 because at the end of the match Manchester city play it out. They went berserk and managed to score 2 goals to add to the excitement of the match. Luckily for Liverpool, Football only played 9O minutes and they survived the onslaught of Manchester City. We saw 3 world-class goals within 7 minutes, and 2 goals in the last minute of the tense, obviously last night was the best match of the season.
Maybe Liverpool scored another goal or more, if the teams played longer. So good football that you don't know which team will win.

I'm not surprised that Manchester City lost today, it was gonna happen sooner or later, what's surprising to me is that they conceded 4 goals, and 3 of them were in the span of 9 minutes. For a team that's been really solid defensively so far this season (13 goals conceded before today), 4 goals is a lot in just one game and it really caught me off guard (when was the last time Man City conceded so many goals?).
And great match from Liverpool, (especially Robertson, this guy was absolutely fantastic today), although those last few minutes , poor defensive but it was really exciting as a neutral.

On another note, Arsenal,  without Ozil, and possibly Alexis Sanchez, this team is just average and it's all thanks to Wenger.

I was quite surprised indeed, not for that they lost, it had to happen, but yup the goals conceived did shocked me. Didn't thought they would conceive goal of this amount in such a way. Though Manchester City tried there best at the end but Liverpool did put them in great pressure.
Manchester City didn't play well at all during the second half of the game and in spite of that, they managed to score two goals in the process. Had the third goal for Man City come in the 85th, i would not have been surprised if the match ended in a draw or City eventually winning the game.
yeah I was surprised with the 4 goals scored but I knew that City still can make a comeback despite their poor defending especially Stones he still cannot handle hight pressure but this loss does not diminish the value of Man City because they are still the at the top this lose shouldn't sabotage their chances to win the League it's possible that their biggest mistake was keeping Silva's survival in bench because he is the rhythm officer in the center of the city midfield Second, Liverpool were great from the start and put a lot of pressure on City's defense that carries the burden of the game, and we can say that Klopp is the coach of the week in the EPL.

I think city has started 2018 on a bad note and this could well be their decline. Liverpool have finally defeated city about time, they weren't that convincing to me anyway. To add salt to the wounds ManUTd are signing Sanchez that will frustrate city like anything. I really wish now ManUTd start winning it. Hopefully tomorrow they win it and then the league

Great game, I enjoyed every minute of it. Especially since I played both teams to score and over 2.5 goals, to bad I didn't also hit the exact score. My prediction was 3:2 for Liverpool so I was a bit off.

Absolutely, I bet 3-0 on this, but I knew it was a terrible gamble... anyone knows Liverpool's leaky defence can ship 3 goals on their best day, but to score the way they did against City was fantastic. When was the last time you saw Otamendi so nervy, and when was the last time you saw Moraes clear-kick the way he did (the way Salah took that down and looped the ball was an absolute dream btw)?

And on Robertson I completely agree! Can't find a MOTM to pick to be honest but I'd give a nod to our young RB, Joe Gomez let me down today though.

Anyone else feel like betting on Liverpool to win the title? Haha...

^ There's a good chance that this match could be a draw imo.  And contrary to buwaytress, Coutinho is def a big loss, and with Henderson injured and Salah doubtful, Liverpool is gonna have a tough time.  But I'm not saying it's gonna be a walk in the park by City either.  It's a tough match for both clubs.

Coutinho is a huge loss, for sure, but what I meant was that he wouldn't be missed in today's game... City as expected played as openly as Liverpool did, there was no need for creative wizardry to unlock their defence. At times, even looked like a Sunday schoolboy match the way everyone was just running helter skelter.

Even though they won I’d say that Jurgen Klopp is a small minded player, after scoring four goals e should have pressed and scored even more goals but he decided to defend and that almost cost hi the win as a result. And their defense is nothing to write home about as well including the goalkeeper.

I am happy Manchester City finally suffered his first defeat this season by Liverpool although the team with the nickname of The Reds is experiencing overwhelmed in the late game. But, with a score of 4-3 to Liverpool's victory enough to be able to prove that no matter how strong Manchester City will not always win in every game. It also proves that this is football and the ball is round and spinning so that there is a time when it is above and there is also the time when under. Manchester City's first defeat will be exploited by other teams who will meet him because with the defeat then every team in the Premier League get a gap deficiency of strategy that applied Pep Guardiola during this season.

most people including me hoping Liverpool could defeat Manchester City today and indeed the game was very tight that Liverpool has playing good in the first half with Chamberlain able to make first goal although Manchester City can equalized the score but second half is so interesting because play at Anfield i think Liverpool don't want to lost

Amazing Bournemouth for the first time in its history wins against Arsenal!
now the situation is really complicated for Arsenal: in  Premier League the 4th place is very difficult to reach and many players are leaving (Walcott, Ozil, Sanchez).
Maybe it's time to rebuild this glorious team

Liverpool will beat Man City today, I have a feeling the unbeaten run of Man City ends at Anfield.

I would really want Manchester City unbeaten run to come to an end in today's game, their fans have been very noisy these past few week but indeed Salah is a doubt for the game today then Liverpool's chances of winning has been greatly reduced as matter of fact.
