So you mean your salary did not go up even from the past 30 years? How did that happen? Anyways, in what country are you? Because here in my country, every year has a salary increase and it depends on the company to how much they give. I don't know how it works in your country but I guess there is a problem with your government and not giving a remedy with that issue.

Inflation 101. Its hard if your salary 30 years before is the same as today knowing of you can buy 3 bags of groceries before, the value of your money now is worth only one bag. The minimum wage should follow the inflation. Anyways, tell your kids to be a financial literate and establish their own business so that they dont have a salary but a company.

Are you saying the prices of goods are going up but the salary is still staying the same? Then probably your country is facing some huge inflation problem. But, as the cost of the price goes up, the wage rate of the people will also eventually go up in the long run as people will start demanding a wage rise to cope up with the price rise.

Absolutely, there is always an increase between goods and salaries that are not balanced so that makes us feel constantly deficient. But that's different from crypto, which always increases and decreases at any time and creates space for traders to make a profit.

This is the reason why rich people become richer while the poor become poorer because of inflation. Minorities will always suffer from this kind of economic crisis unlike in cryptocurrency people will decide on their own whether they want to make a profit or not. They just have to wait for the right time.

Actually my salary went up like 2 years ago. But there is a problem. Necessities, canned goods, vegetables and meat also went up.
So, it is like nothing happened.

Better to just make a business when you saved some out of your salary. Eat the same food when you dont even have a salary. Do not be too luxurious with food and things.
That is all I learned from getting a small income. Grin

After that you could enjoy everything.

Everyone is well aware that where salaries have not changed much after a long period of work, that's where the brain demands to think where we should never depend on one job but look for side income and invest in crypto for the future, maybe it will be better to choose the right coins, it is very difficult indeed to defend our current rights to companies or the government because they take too long to take into account, whether they think or only have an interest in the government, so try not to pursue just one job but there are many more out there more promising.

This has been a talk going amongst corporate employees and other employees as well. We usually talk about it when we share about extra expenses we made. Inflation would be another reason behind the good 's price getting increased. We can not avoid it. The leaders have to look at it beside everything.

As mentioned this is a common problem that almost each and every employee experience unlike any discrimination in the residing location or country. We need to analyse what is the reason for inflation, in most cases it is all about corruption. When corruption is eradicated automatically there will be economic growth as well every employee can be paid what he/she deserves.

Price of everything goes up except salary. My salary also increases by just 1-2% and I don't get even proper bonus but can't help as it's fixed income. The interest rates are reducing which is another pain and property prices increase by 10-20% every year. Here Engineers start off with a salary of 22k INR ($313) and this is the amount lower middle-class Americans earn almost every week. With this salary, nobody can manage a family of even 4 people and so many families have been doing so.

In a society where capitalism dominates and the rest of the world suffers, what do you expect? And the sad thing is even if the banks and governments conspired for this to happen, the society still trusts them in a high regard which, IMO, they shouldn't receive. Instead of appreciation in value, currencies devalue; price of goods increases, overall salary for the working class depreciates/remains flat. In order for a something to change, the proletariat needs to do some protest, public outcries etc. This financial system is designed to make the rich, richer, and the poor, poorer.

Not all company will give increasing salary for their employee because it depends on the business their running.
But I think in other jobs, you can get a salary that will go up every year or 5 years.
But in the cryptocurrency, if you have many profitable coins in your wallet, you can see the value will increase in one year later or more.
So I think it's not a problem if your salary doesn't go up because you have so many coins in your wallet that are waiting to increase.
And when all the coins you have increased, you can sell the coin to take your another "salary" as your reward to hold the coins for a long time.

In Philippines we have a minimum wage but the salary can increase depending in your performance specially if you are always doing overtime work or there is a holiday increasinng your salary in a day. A group of people protest to increase the minimum wage. It only means that goverment can implement the increase of the salary.

Simply call it as inflation and that is the reality and we made it through banks and giving authority to banks for printing money.

It's just the same in our country. Salary is increasing $1 almost every two years and the means of living is getting expensive which makes life harder each day. Working with minimum wage sometimes can't sustain all our necessities. That's the reason why we need a part time job or business. We have to work and earn double.

You know that this isn't true right? 30 years ago or in the 1980s you would expect to have a starting salary of 18,000$ annually and at the present date you are expected to at least earn 50,000$ for anyone who at least finish a college degree, now even if you factor in inflation and 50,000$ for a starting salary is a much bigger bump in price compared to what we have 30 years ago. Now that you have been an employee for more than 30 years than I expect you to at least go over than 50,000$ with the expected salary increases and promotions you jave received in the past.

Every year the salaries suffer a correction (positive correction), unfortunatelly the prices of goods increase much more. I don't know from where you are, but the salary can't be the same for 30 years. I believe the economy is broken for 2 main reasons:
Broken welfare system and many public employees in the country. It creates a lot of costs that must be paid by everyone else. So you aren't actually paying only for your goods, but to maintain a broken system full of privileges for a select elite.

May I ask you where you come from? It does not hold for every country.
The problem you're addressing is well known. I recently read an article saying, for example, that there has been no inflation-adjusted wage growth in the United States since the 1980s. This is mainly due to globalisation. Especially industrialised countries that have little industry and mainly rely on services have this problem.

I somewhat agree to what you are saying but not completely. Back in 2004 when I was a college student, I decided to do a job for 3 months during summer time to earn some pocket money. So I joined a call center where my job was to receive inbound customer service call for Airtel customers and I used to get paid 6k INR per month.

I have now come a long way in my life but that particular company still exists and they continue to pay the same salary to a fresher call center agent. But that's not where the story ends because the people keep on changing on that same position!

We all grow in life as well as in income! No need to get so paranoid!
