I wonder that too. I also deposited some to get a higher level and faucet to play with.
Levels seems pretty "pointless" without the faucet.

So it's propably getting removed, surprise surprise. Stunna make the money he need = he doesn't need as big of a community anymore this way he saves money from faucet and from paying support. He got tons of good replies on what to do with it but closing anyway - I would do the same in his shoes but it sucks because I am not in his shoes

I don't think either helps. The faucet's primary purpose seems to be to attract new players and give them a way of testing the site before depositing.
If you require a deposit, or make them wait until Sunday, you probably lose them.

dooglus makes some good points. The faucet is definitly a big draw for the site as newbs love to get some free coins to play with and it can entice them into gambling, but obviously the botting is a problem that's going to have to be solved somehow, but I can offer no solution to that. Maybe there isn't one as people will always find a way to abuse something like this.

I think you wrote too many words for most people to read. People have short attention spans.
Your suggestions seem to be:
* give faucet to people only if they deposit
* give faucet to people only on Sunday

Basically there's no way of telling the difference between 100 curious newbies who might become good customers if you let them have a few free bits and a single botter who is cynically taking your bits with no intention of playing. So you're stuck with either eating the cost, or removing the faucet.
If I missed anything in your post, please point it out.
