This is very interesting, would be a bit complicated for new users though which defeats the purpose of the faucet. We've toyed with the idea of having a 'faucet balance' and 'main balance' on our back-end but honestly a faucet cut is long overdue just simply due to the price rise of coins making it hyper profitable for abusers to hop aboard.

There was a time when troll box was fun and now almost all of the sites are over crowded and it is impossible to make any conversation ,it will be good to see more channels being tried to distribute the traffic between channels so that it is never over crowded and i really like the plan of Veleten on how to counter faucet spammers and it must be implemented by the staff members to avoid abuse.

Yeah its not only the PD chat, it also the BitMex and Poloniex Trollbox also. There are so many users on there and the format of the layout is bad that its impossible to be able to chat properly because the messages scroll too fast. You can't even finish reading a sentence before it gets moved up because someone else typed something else.

Few years ago was better. Less users and you could actually have a conversation.

Maybe introduce different Trollbox channels like #random, #gambling, #trading, etc.

Literally best. That was my first time to watched Ed livestream and it was fun. The pd chat was so crazy. It was so fast that I can't even read the chat very well for how many minutes.

what they are planning to do,if I got it correctly,is to decrease the claims amount 10x times
so the newbies will get a 15 satoshi faucet (do not spend all at once   ) and VIPs with 4.000 faucet,for example,will have a 400 satoshi faucet instead
they promise to compensate this with more giveaways,games,promotions etc. to pay active,loyal members and not abusers and freebie leechers
the problem is that the competitors keep their faucets at the same level as before,it costs them money,yes,but they want a market share and are marketing agressively
this way Primedice might lose one big marketing advantage and some players too

This is very smart and it would fix the issues of faucet abuse however like you mentioned before. It requires a huge amount of coding and the devs are already busy at the moment. Second reason is that "dice" is very simple and implenting this will just make it way too technical for most users.

Most likely they will take the easiest approach, simply getting rid of the faucet all together.

Seriously, this I think will work(I play on the site veleten is referring that he moderates). But make the minimum exchange amount to 500000 tokens.

if I may suggest a solution to the faucet debacle:ideally,it should keep the current levels for VIP players,keep the incentitive to wager for all players and
completely remove abuse,faucet farming or plain high multiplier rolls with no deposits,will also allow to keep the tip amount low (not retarded low like 1k but reasonably low= 10k which is the optimal amount at the moment,IMHO)
it will allow to merge forum credits into the system,maybe go as far as introducing own altcoin as an option

the solution is simple and it is working at one of the site I'm moderating- proved to be very effective,too
it will require some code change,though,nothing extraordinary but could be a challenge

how does it work:
introduce a parallel coin or token system,call PDC(primedice coin) or PAC(primedice's awesome coin) or PFT(primedice faucet tokens) or whatever you want to name it

it could be made interexchangeable with forum credits 1:1000 and its value is 1 satoshi:1 credit/token

tokens cannot be tipped,transferred,exchanged to satoshi under threshold,they do not affect wagered
token bets handled,stored,displayed exactly the same way as regular satoshi bets
second balance to be introduced,users switch between tokens/satoshi bets

PROS:
1.cut MASSIVELY on the amounts of money you spend on your current faucet
2.eliminate blatant faucet farming-tokens can't be tipped
3.give new players a taste of the game without deposit and without PD spending huge amounts of money daily
4.technically,keep current faucet at the same level to avoid possible unrest among PD community and potential audience numbers drop
5.keep tip amount low
6.simple solution to forum credits-exchange them for tokens and convert to satoshi:streamers,giveaway winners will even get 10% bonus when converting big amounts (see above)
7.plenty of room for various official chat games and giveaways in tokens that encourage to PLAY,not to save money on bank and withdraw
8.eliminate multiple account abuse,high enough threshold should see multiaccounters work hard or be very lucky to be able to convert on any big scale
9.convert threshold can be adjusted ( 200k 300k 400k etc.) to see how much money are being spent on faucet and make corrections
10.potential altcoin introduction,connected to ingame tokens-if people keep spamming new shitcoins and ICOing them,think PD could introduce their own coin and it be a success,too
11.players will have to deposit to increase their wagered,or use their freshly converted tokens,no more farm faucet>wager>increase faucet>farm faucet more>register multy "affiliates">collect affiliate reward

CONS:
1.technical difficulty,introduces a secondary parallel "currency" so users will be confused at first
2.implementation-not sure if your coders can create a working model in a short period of time
3.higher support and moderators load
4.require updated,rewrited FAQ and added videos
5.some people will not like the change and leave,happens after ANY change,regardless

in my opinion,PROS outweigh CONS by far
if the new system saves you 30% of your current  bitcoin daily faucet expences (and I expect it to be 40-75%),it adds up to 9-10 bitcoins a month

This is a side-effect of PD encouraging users to run public streams - on which some users do perform giveaways and whatnot.
I think using a stream to promote a reflink (not even actively promoted, it's just in the video description) is a reasonable way to do it (and the referral part isn't being hidden in any way). Better than spamming it on forums or trying to trick people into using it by disguising it.

Naturally, you're entitled to your own opinion on this - but asking PD to impose standards on and moderate off-site interactions is a bit onerous...

But when you connect they are cleary saying they are not giving away anything and that others "On the site" are giving away.

This is allowed to advertise using your site name and then smearing it saying they are not giving away anything to NO ONE and even saying they will ban anyone on their twitch channel chat room if they are begging?!?

That user should be banned from your site with playing around with people and drawing them in to their channel and then directing them to your site in the hopes to get referral bonuses.
They are from France so they are just bullshitting people.

Yes, you can create multiple accounts on PD. btw why do you need more than one account? keep in mind if you abuse faucet your accounts will be muted.

Whoever can able to wager so many bitcoins to reach the highest level they will not bother much about this faucet amount. Also, the main purpose of the faucet money is to try the game in the beginning and once people like it the casinos are expecting gamblers to deposit money and continue gambling. Not always gamble with faucet money. They should limit two or three claims per hour maximum.

As you said ppl who chase big win?
I am the one who chases big multiplier in my free time and tip some of my friends.
Also claiming faucet every 3-5 min and rolling it is not abusing it.

I'm a long time fan of PD and I want the fun to keep going. So here's my suggestion.

Every player can claim from the faucet different amounts depending on what they lost in the last 24 hours.

For example if Player#1 has lost* 0.1 BTC in the last 24 hours and he can claim the faucet every 5 minutes(12 times per hour):

24x12 = 288

10% of 0.1 = 0.01

0.01 / 288 = 0.0000347

So the Player#1 can claim 0.0000347 every 5 minutes

* - "lost" means that TOTAL PROFIT = - 0.1 BTC

And depending on whether the player is winning or losing the amount he can claim changes accordingly. Thus if has recovered the loss of that 0.1 say in 20 minutes, he can claim zero from the faucet.

Reducing the faucet amount will not give any significant effects for PD, the ones who move to other sites because faucet amount are just those who called by faucet abusers imho. Of course I believe PD will still take care of their real players by giving another rewards for those real players.
VIP rewards would be much more effective for those VIP players instead of bigger faucet amount as not all VIP players cares about faucet. Disappointing for ppl who chase big wins from faucet? Which ppl? The ones who love to abuse the faucet who only rely on faucet and happy hours?

Whales or not, both contribute to the site. Both contribute to the wager being made on site, thus both contribute to the site. Also, faucet attracts players and more players, the more enticing it will be for big players.

Most of the whales which don't abuse the faucet, never use it.

Most of the faucet abusers however will never end up being a whale and depositing a large BTC so its catch 22.
