Gambling is actually fun for me, its a great way to spend or try your luck with spare money. Many times I have won good amounts and other times I have enjoyed the play. If you are trying to be rich with gambling then there is a higher chance of loosing.
In my opinion there are many reasons one gambles and unfortunately these can be shaped by the misfortunate environment we grew up in.
exactly mate that is why there are many gamblers that looks into gambling as a profiteering area and they can't stop trying their luck time after time,it is like Lottery bettors that even having difficult time to win yet continuing their desire to win jackpot. For some it may be as simple as gaining some control over the few seconds they play, for some is feeling important and relevant while for some there is pure adrenaline and fun. Others also try in hope for a better future.
that is why the difference of the answers are indeed though many says it is for fun but the truth is?they are more on money and not the happiness because if they win they celebrate but when lose?so eager and angry lol I'm just curious about what people think about their main purposes to play gambling. I think except from winning or to earn profit probably entertainment we cannot deny that it is entertaining most of the time and I think this is only the common porpuses but sometimes I just want to play because I'm bored and also I want to get information about the gambling websites that I'm playing with just for research porpuses and also to review the websites.For example I play poker with my friends quite regularly and we usually don't play for money. Mostly people play it for money because it makes it more interesting but the fact that you can enjoy playing it even without money proves that gambling games have other purposes beside earning financial gain.
I support you on this point. Gambling does not have to be about money all the time. Sometimes it is for bonding especially if the gambling game you are playing is played not against other people but against a group of friends. There will be money involved to make the game a bit more interesting and competitive but it is not the main thing really. The more important thing is that you have got to spend some nice bonding moments with your friends.
We are gambling not because only for the reason that we want to earn more money, but because it is now our happiness and a comfort to us. It becomes our recreational activity, after a long long working time , it makes us more productive after a game, also it trains our minds to do more.
But unfortunately, many people are getting trap in gambling games. The first time they knew gambling is for recreational activity, but in the next days, they came back to play another game, and they found that playing some gambling games is exciting, and that makes them stay to play for longer. When they come back in the next days, they think this time they can win those games, so they are not thinking about gambling is a recreational activity, but they feel that gambling is a way to make money. In the end, their reason for playing gambling games is changing to how to they can make money from gambling.

getting rich from gambling is relative from an individual perspective, I prefer to think of it as a reward for the results of my routine for always playing with a stable level of satisfaction. I chose the choice to become an expert / experienced gambler, my game performance and luck are not always good all the time, but experience and ability can be strong pillars in all situations.
Yes, because to be rich from gambling is something like an illusion that will in fact be difficult to achieve. Being an expert I don't think that is the right word for now, but about experienced players then that is the right phrase because gambling is about luck, even though you consider yourself an expert but still, you should have a higher level of luck. If they're addicted I think it was an specific decisions that's why they fell on that situation. Don't ever blame someone, but yourself on how you face those consequences in life. Probably you'll get over someday after realizing the effect of your wrong actions actually.
Gamblers get addicted because they do not realize that they play the games too long without stopping for a while. Even if they realize, they still continue playing because gambling is very tempted them to play more and more. So that makes them lose their control, and they can't stop or leave the place. We cannot blame them because that will be their decision, but we can remind them not to play gambling for a long time.
I already have that experience, but luckily I can hold myself and try to reduce my time to play gambling. And now, I can control myself in gambling, so I don't have to worry about anything.
The first time I read the topic, I told myself, is this topic will go many times in this forum in a loop? Well, after browsing this, I guess there were some variation on other topics. Since, being a pro gambler was mentioned and etc. For me, what seconds the rich mindset is always fun. I really love gambling.

Well, I know most of us this is was our mindset. The majority of us here are choosing to have a fun activity and gamble when you have spare time not just a daily habit which probably causes gambling addiction. There are a lot of purposes why we are on gamble aside from having fun, the fact is also hoping that the money they willing to spend is to make double and gain profit. I dont think of being rich because that is impossible to happen but if there is a chance we will accept the opportunity of course, but hunting on it is not a good decision. Though i know majority of the answers are for FUN (but the truth is?they wanna win )
Some people gamble to socialize, to relieve stress, And to get to know people. Especially those who are already rich, some would just go to casino to socialize with other people and to relieve stress and have fun. Gambling can be a good way to make time pass by, however, if you are financially incapable this will not work because of the risk.
So what is your answer?because i believe the OP is about our purpose and not by others .I must admit that i expect to learn more when gambling but also i want to enjoy when in the table,so the thing is i am playing to learn and also to have fun.

There was a study between married people gambling and single people gambling and it turns out there was a huge difference between the two, married people do not gamble nearly as much as single people.
I assume there are factors involved with this, one is time because married people spend a lot of time with their families whereas single people spend a lot of time... well single, another could be financial risks, if a single guy loses money he is only responsible for himself and he could potentially ruin his own life at worst whereas a married person could ruin at least one another person potentially more.
We can find more reasons but I am pretty sure the reasons why single people gamble more are quite similar to reasons why people gamble and their purposes.

The main motive for me to gamble is indeed to make more money & be rich. But I got into gambling, starting with card games as I like the strategy associated with it and the games themselves. Another reason for me to get into it was my friends. There was a phase when everyone around me started playing poker or black Jack for fun & to pass time

Well, my purpose why i play gambling for leisure time when i am bored at home and at work because sometimes i need things that could keep me busy, and gambling in a crypto casino is one of the best solution solve my problem when i don't have any things to do or i am bored. 
Getting addicted is a fate, because at some point when we loss our money out of gambling which is kept aside for our living we don't have any other go. By the time the only way possible is to get back the earning out of the same gambling. This is where situations go worse. Very few understand it and spend accordingly. This means people never have the mind to be rich once after losing big, they just understand and to lead a normal life they want what's been lost.
This is a really sad fact of life and I keep seeing it happen to many people. Which is why I always tell myself to ensure I have a friend who understands gambling know where I gamble and what I do with money.
Also, for bills and savings, make sure you give your partner or girlfriend or whatever the money to pay things, so you can never be tempted to take the money and deposit.
Nobody should ever gamble to be rich. When that happens, immediately seek help.
