True, besides being rich, many people will say that having fun is their gambling goal. Of the 37 members who voted, 30 of them have chosen to have fun and spend free time. So having fun and spending free time is the second choice for gamblers to continue playing and addicted.

at first it was definitely just for fun while spending time but if you get profit then it's better. after a long time wanting to hone the ability to gamble to become an expert gambler, when doing so it turned out to be an addictive effect that can not be stopped and ends like a routine. I can not describe in more detail, roughly that's how I feel right now.

There is not any other reason to gamble apart from the fact that people try to be rich.
Those who say "I am doing for fun" they don't actually do it for fun. They try to be rich from that. Otherwise they might be playing board games or anything other that doesn't require to bet money.

There is not any other reason to gamble apart from the fact that people try to be rich.

I think "have fun and spend spare time" and "it's all about my hobby" are most likely the same.
Anyway, I've chosen the "have fun and spend spare time" also it is most likely as my hobby because most of the time I like to play gambling on my own. Maybe the getting rich part is not too far from the topic but I was trying to aim some winning too when playing, you know.

Gambling is something where we risk big with the hope of earning big. If there isn't no way to make an earning out of the risk gambling could have never been preferred and used much by people from nook and corner of the world. This makes people give importance to gambling as a way to be rich and very few give consideration as an entertainment.
^ That is wrong if you are risking a big amount just to hunt a big return of earning, that is greed. They should know how to spend money that they can only afford to lose and not your whole money. I choose and voted this is my habit and I gamble just because of fun activity that might entertain me for a while. But at the same time, I am hoping that the small amount that I can afford to lose will have a profit but if I can't, that is fine. Nevertheless, gambling entertainment is priceless.If I were you, I'll just focus on my own enjoyment and not letting my own greed help me to earn money. If you just want to entertain yourself and just spend your time playing like it is a hobby, if you lose a certain amount of money then it is okay with you. Your emotion will not be affected because you enjoyed it.

Because of this, there are only a few games that can really make players rich, e.g. lottery type games, slots with a jackpot and games with a multiplier over 100.

It's one thing to beat somebody at a game where nothing is at stake, it's an entirely different feeling to beat somebody when there is something on the line—even if it is just beating the casino at its own games. This is mostly why I play poker at low stakes tables now, whomping on the fish is a feeling that you can't get anywhere else really.

but then as time goes by it ALWAYS turn to addicted, no matter how people at first time have an intention for the pure fun , hard to avoid addiction in gambling and your purpose changed as well , this is the irony.
setting a target to get rich by gamble is a fantasy , there is a super tiny chance but still it feels like just a fantasy.

I guess people here shows maturity on how they gamble
Gambling is something meant for fun and entertainment along with adding streaks of money. The whole picture is not about money rather a small corner is allocated to winning money. Gambling itself is not a headache, people have made it headache for themselves as they simply invest more than what they can afford to lose which simply make them borrow money from others and going in debts. got majority of the vote and that includes mine, we are all educated that gambling will give us headache if you take it seriously and pouring more on what we can afford to lose.
Some people gamble to socialize, to relieve stress, And to get to know people. Especially those who are already rich, some would just go to casino to socialize with other people and to relieve stress and have fun. Gambling can be a good way to make time pass by, however, if you are financially incapable this will not work because of the risk.

I am vote for spend my time, it is right actually because when i bored i deposit $5 and play dice maybe. But sometime i deposit on game online, only when in mood i play gambling. Both of what i did, i already know and not expect to get my money back. And that amount of money already enough for me to kill time. People are choosing to have fun in spare time, there is also an option to become an experienced gambler, whatever choice you will make I'm sure that you will also accomplish that as well if you want to gamble in your spare time and have some fun, you can do that but you will also become experienced and might end up a playing for money too.
Either of the two choices will do, whether you play to have some fun and get some winnings or play to earn and also have fun, excluding all the negative sides of gambling.
The purpose that we're searching for in our won't appear in front of us if we're not going to give it a try no matter how risky it is for us, especially in gambling, where we experience many loses but some of us still strives for their dreams about making fortune in gambling, though most of them didn't make it.
I think majority people will expect to get extra money when they decide to gambling and i personally would not deny one of my main reason to gamble because i want earn money from it but the difference is i was try to pushing myself to enjoyed every games i played and always be consider if i wasn't win then it not more than i have no luck while gambling
Yes the main reason for gambling is to earn money and to get rich only few people are there who gamble for fun but majority gamble to earn money. Gambling is profitably played by me last year when I was just playing it for fun but when I won huge profit from it then I become more interested in it and now it’s way it make money for me. 
No one would be rich from gambling in my opinion, because once a person wins big, then the next day he will lose again and again, so that the victory money finally runs out too. For me playing gambling just to fill in spare time when I'm bored.
One of the most common reasons why people want to play gambling they want to become wealthy because it is easy to earn money if you win just a single game. But there's more reason most of us want to play gambling to satisfy our desire we have a different passion for playing. Personally I don't expect to be rich in gambling. Because I know the consequences and the risk it has. I gamble seeking for an opportunity to win but doesn't except that I can be rich. Just hoping for some money. I don't know about others. Because it's hard to be rich in gambling, you know that what you expect can happen completely differently.

I prefer they bet to get money compared to the desire to get rich, and they bet every day the reason is because they can only rely on income from playing gambling and for their daily needs.it sounds very risky because it is impossible every day to always get money from gambling but it has become an option, and it happened with some of my friends and so far they are fine and their needs are always met.

You hurt my feelings, lol.. I did not vote for having fun in gambling, i voted "to be an expert.For me, in order to be called educated, you should know how to manage the risk, irregardless of your purpose in gambling.
but it does not reflect the whole picture of gamblers that play for fun, there are still a huge percentage of gamblers that wants to beat the house or finding ways to beat the house, I voted for fun but in the back of my mind I also want to make money.
