Hello once again IGHOR Smiley

I updated to the new version. Once i login, there is all my info, my bids, my asks, etc, the thing is, once i logged i can't create a new bid or ask, neither cancel. Basically i can't do anything but watch.

Is anyone having this trouble?

Press Alt+Shift+D, switch to Debug.
Than try to cancel/open orders, save all debug output and send to my Email.

Wow, great update, I LOVE the night mode! It's very sexy. I also love the new color coding on the orders in the order book. It makes it much easier to see the larger orders. And wow, that new network indicator made me realize how much bandwith live order book info actually uses  Shocked Everything seems perfect. Thank you! Cheesy

Yes, same here. I'm using bitstamp. Going back to the old version, dont shows the "open orders" (german offene Auftraege) and buy and sell not working.
Any hints?

Edit: The old version is working again, I have all the cfg and ini files reinstalled.

bitfinex: i get repeatedly:
"nonce is too smal 204" (number is changing (208 appears too))
also account info is not loaded.

Nonce errors means you used same API keys in another app. So re-create API keys and use it only in one application.

thx, it works!

Bitfinex doesn't seem to be working

' Identification required to access private API.  Please enter valid API key and secret.  Please try to enable "trade" and "info" rights for this API pair.  If it didn't help, please generate new API keys and re-create a new profile.  Invalid X-BFX-SIGNATURE. 204'

From what I've read BFX doesn't have setting for their API's.  I've also tried to recreate the profile with no luck.

Try to copy and paste API keys to notepad first.

Works!  Thanks a bunch Cheesy

I'm a little confused. Here is what I want to do but I'm not sure how to do it becuse of the way things are worded. I'd like to buy BTC if the market ask price drops .6% and sell BTC if the current value is .6% more than what I bought the BTC for.

If I did something like this would it work?

- If market ask price <0.06%(trailing) buy amount .01 BTC at market ask price
- if my orders Last Buy price > 0.6% (trailing) sell amount .01btc at market bid price.

If this doesn't work then can you explain what I should be using?

This should works, you can test it by adding rule to play specific sound. So you just hear sound and you will know how it works.
Please note, you should add fee to % value to get profit.

So the "my orders last buy price" will be compared to the current asking price? That's the part I'm confused about. So for example if the first rule triggers and I buy in at 655 but then the market drops to 640 but then shoots back up to 655 would it trigger the next rule or would it wait until the price is .6% over my buy in price (655).

How would I factor in the fee? Would I pick the "Plus percent" under the last bot in the rule maker and type in .20% for BTCe?

PS. Thanks for the update. I look forward to the day you add in scripting and indicator support (Delta, EMA..etc)!

Hey IGHOR,

I really like your QT Trader, would it be possible for you to embed some kind of interpreter (e.g.: Python or Ruby) to enable the users to write complex rules with it?

Do you have an official development website for this project where we can post feature requests and the like? (github? sf.net?)

Thank you very much!!

Script language is planed to Qt Open Trader.

Have you moved config file out of .config/ dir? I cant find it. Also maybe I need to install any additional audio libs (ubuntu 13.10) cos I cannot play wavs...

Hi. .config moved to default applications location.
I use QSound to play Wav. The Network Audio System is used if available, otherwise all operations work silently. NAS supports WAVE and AU files.

Ok, I sold for 700.433$ and now I wanted to buy 2% cheaper so I made:
My order last sell price - goes less than 2% spend my all USD - at market ask price

But didn't worked when the price reached 686.42$. The offer did not jump from Rules to Your open orders.

Anyway, the idea is to find a way to sell higher then I bought and next step to buy cheaper then I sold. The point of reference should be Last sell price, last buy price, not the trigger moment and balance.

Automaticly so I can forget to follow things.

Tested your situation and it does work.
Give me screenshot of rules you used (also check for updates, maybe you use not lastest build).

I'm a new user, I find this soft a great piece if work but I don't cleary know how to do that:
I want to set a 2 simple rules, for example:
1. Sell if price will be 5 % higher than the price I bougt it
2. Buy if the price will be 5% lower than my last sell

I tried to set it like:
1. My order last buy price - goes more than 5% sell all my BTC - at market bid price
2. My order last sell price - goes less than 5% spend my all USD - at market ask price

But didn't work, I mean after the price reached the level I wanted nothing happend, rules were processing and pending.

And what about fee - is it calculated in always or I have to considerate it by my self?

Trigger value calculated at time of rule enabled. So if you enabled rule when your balance was 1000, rule will triggers at 950 balance.
Check your calculations and give me example of numbers you used and expected.

Thanks for your quick response (and the quick fix for the trailing checkbox, that confused me  Wink)!! Is there a way to see the updated price at which QTBT plans to sell when using the trailing stop?

I need to change interface, because there is no space in rules table for this.
This value calculates at same time rule enabled and when price goes to another direction.
