The most important virtue of a leader should be Honesty. An honest leader can make things rights, place things where they need. A leader needs to be jolly minded to inspire his team properly. A good leader shouldn't be stubborn.

I don't want to use the notion " quality of Good leader", but quality of a leader. Why? Because no matter how one try, the phrase GOOD can not be justified. As a leader, your actions set the tone for what is appropriate in any field you find yourself because you are a role model and many people wants to learn from you. Some people are born leaders and some are not. These people have learned the characteristics through life's experiences which are not limited to the following: Confidence, accountability, courage, motivation, discipline, integrity and the likes.
Each one of us are leaders. But we need to be trained to burst the leadership skills. All of us can be leader, maybe in good way or in some cases in bad way. Being a leader is not an easy job, you must sacrifice yourself for your people's good. You must be dedicated on what you're doing.
With exception to traditional rulers, there are no born leaders, every leader is trained and equipped for the tasks. Therefore anyone who choose to be leader can learn all the attribute of a good leader and apply it.
A good leader is kind, understanding and always listen to his follower. He knows how to direct his subbordinate in a kind way which can not hurt his members. And most of all, a good leader should be also a good follower.
Well there are tons of quality though , the first for me is to have an ability to lead to be able to build a relationship and have a purpose to lead in so many aspects of life. Not just a good by saying but also good on action.

A leader is a person that have ability to lead they are ready to face all the challenges of other some say a leader must have ability to stand out among other, and he or she must be honest to his member...
i think to be a good leader that means that you need to have some abilityes to make quick smart decisions in a short period of time.......so its not easy..... i guess, the sucess of a leader is always reflected by his team or the society he is leading......
For me the quality of a good leader are being open-minded to hear what your group mates or colleagues are saying or their opinion, good communicator that others can easily understand what you are saying for, commitment and passionate in what you are doing, and the power so that your group mates will recognize your authority and the sense of being a leader.
Managing of a group isn't easy and it is a facf that the success of a team will depends upon how the leader organize. In my opinion, a good leader is a good follower. He has patience, cooperation with the members, and has a goals for what they will do. A good leader does not depends to his decision only because he always seek the suggestion of majority. Leader is not just a bright or a smart, leader is not only one because we are all leaders, we are always seek for the victory of the team.
I believe that every person has the potential to be a good leader. Like everything in life, it depends how much effort we put into achieving what we want.
A good leader is a good listener too!

A leader must be special and full of personality. Only then will the people respect and fear him and easily tell the leader of their own problems freely. And the leader should be kind and wise. It can be easily solved by any leader, and in this I think that a leader can judge rightly.
