On my personal approach I still feel happy whenever I get one merit also because it boost my motivation

Believe me or of not, it still happens to me also. Usually I tend to read every merit notification, and I also remember many of the most relevant merit sent to me. Every merit, a sparse of the new lore

Treasure hunt:  who gave me the merit number 2,000?

I checked many posts on your profile and found that you got 2000th merit on 4th January 2020.  But there is confusion two members gave you merit that day.  But it is very difficult to say for sure who gave you 2000th merit.

4th January two persons below given you merits.

1. EI duderino_(3)
2. Dunkelheit667(1)

My answer: EI duderino_ gave you 2000th merit

It is only selflessness persons like you can do this. Anyone who have the heart to grow others both in the forum and in real life have the life style of charity.
You are interpreting the merit distribution in the wrong manner as it's not like charity because it means helping the people but in actual these threads and merits are given to those who deserves them based on post of their quality only so you see it's different way of handing out merits on the forum. He is merit source and distribute merits from what he get as source and also smerits he has earned from his effective contributions on forum so he would then in return share it with some good low ranking members.

I am trying to grow good posters, teaching them how to write good posts and rewarding them for their efforts.
This way they will learn how to rank up on forum with your other threads as well getting merits from you on the good post and if you give all of them merits then they will never understand how to earn them through effective posting so your approach is very well that you are helping them to grow as well as learn which would help them to gain more merits in the long run as knowledge is key to success and we learn with time and dedication.

50 merit for a good poster are normal and they may not be as happy as a poster trying to improve the quality of post even if it only gets 1 merit.
On my personal approach I still feel happy whenever I get one merit also because it boost my motivation that my contributions have been recognised and was helpful for someone on the forum. The merits boost up your morale to write more good and useful stuff on the forum to earn more merits but if we compare it with low rank members then yes they are more happy to get merits seeing themselves rank on the forum I would say rather based on 50 or 1 merit. But this system has helped to reduce spam to some extent as they cannot rise on the forum if they don't have zeal to learn and write useful post on the forum.

There is a lot of motivation that can be grown through the merit system, I can really see a lot of them starting to care about the quality of their posts, especially when I review the posts reported in your other thread.

I think the 11 Hints and your journey in this forum that you put in writing here are very worthy to be read by more people in this forum. especially for newcomers like me. because your delivery method is really comfortable and easy to understand.
maybe because what you write is based on knowledge that is accompanied by the experience you have gone through. so that your writing becomes really comfortable to read.
and there is a quote that I like from your writing that really needs to be underlined. because this quote is the essence of your great hints. that is

You have boosted our enthusiasm and morale to post. From this we can gain the knowledge that nothing is impossible if we post here with good attention. I see you are never disappointed that you didn't get any merit in the first few months. But if we post something now we don't get Merid, we get frustrated and don't post on Bitcointalk anymore.
Because now we just run after merit without posting. But you didn't do that you proved yourself that you are a worthy member here and you deserve it and we can be like you if we try.

Earn 5 merit in the last 30 days is something you will probably never worry about, but it's quite different if you ask how I feel about it. Previously I didn't care about rank and even I didn't care how I had to get them because my main focus was posts and posts regardless of whether they were spam or not, that's all. But it's really unexpected that one night I really feel that what my mindset is not the best reflection for users who have been on this forum for 6 years, whereas they have earned hundreds to thousands even less than 1 year. I also want to be like that, it's never too late to start and I really want to set foot to do my best now and next.

If you manage to do it, then it's not impossible for me to do it too even though we never have the same speed.

I tried to collect enough merit to become a legendary member in the beginning, and now I kind of gave up.
Uh...bruh the reason it looks impossible is because of what you post, it is easy to see why a member isn't ranking up or at least earning some merits, all you need to do is look at their post history, yours is one bounty report after another, and no merit source or members that give merits will come to the bounty section to give merits to you that will rank you up. If you want to be a Legendary member, then you have earn it in two ways: 1)leave the bounty section and 2)start being a contributor in the forum.

You're right, but I only do bounty. Earlier I wasb more involved, then there was no merit system and it didn't matter in which category the post was written, when everything changed I tried, but now it doesn't even matter. I don't actually do bounty that often.Maybe I'll try it sometime, but even Hero Member isn't bad.In any case, thanks for the suggestion.

If you are to consider spreading out your post on different boards especially on bitcoin discussion and sections, then work on post quality, be active onnthe forum by not being an occasional poster, then take time to engage research to have new discoveries to offer, all these will also help, you can't be that commited if you're so engaged on other things outside the forum which took much of your time, so you may not actually have enough time to deliver as expected, never be known as a bounty poster alone but post in almost all English section and locale as well but bitcoin discussion should be your ultimate target and beginners and help, i think they needed more of help to deliver to newbies who are new in the system.

A good profile you have here, and I like your motivation, which suggests that anyone can do it, it will encourage us to do more, especially the new members. But no matter how some better users post here, they might still not rank well compared to some lesser-quality posters. That's life, just like some better quality videos that will be unpopular compared to some fewer quality videos that would go viral. We have to admit that luck is also needed here even for someone to be noticed, not only efforts, which makes it sad.

I think a dedicated page should be on the forum where anyone could request their posts to be reviewed randomly. This might increase the chance of being noticed more and being ranked up if the work is of good quality.

Bounty cannot be the final scope of this forum. It surely can be a way of earning through the process of reading and writing in the forum, but the final scope here is to learn more about bitcoin. This is going to be, by several orders of magnitude, the biggest reward of getting into BitcoinTalk.org.

maybe I will sound outdated, but I think that the Bitcointalk forum (in addition to what you mentioned) is mandatory for the initial presentation of a new service. by that, I don't mean announcing new shit tokens/coins.
even the influence of this forum on solving potential scam misunderstandings I would single out as quality, before earning potential.
