Dev Update:

Hello Community, thank you very much for your patience as I diligently work to bring you new features. As a lone dev it is difficult at times to find the proper balanced between updating and putting in the hard work necessary to meet deadlines. That said, I am on track to meet my commitments. I am working with Dan Metcalf to assist him with the review process, it has been straight forward so far and he has expressed great respect for the work in the anonymous code thus far and has even made a few recommendations of which I will implement.

A bit of info on the tech:

The Decentralized master nodes will be operated by anyone who chooses with a minimum balance of 2,000 Halcyon, this will guarantee perfect security, and also provide a nice benefit on top of staking for those who choose to participate in the anon process. I have chosen to do it this way to ensure the long term success of this coin. There is also a system in place that will process the anon transactions even if User wallets are not in place, this will make sure the network is always functioning and your security is available.


Other things I am working on right now.

Improved graphics:

Total redesign of the logo with a more corporate style image.

Wallet graphical redesign with animations for the anon process that visually represent the stages the anon transaction is in during processing. This will look really cool and i'm excited for it.

Mobile

A fully functioning mobile wallet that will support the peer send anonymous transaction system as well as some additional mobile specific features.

Payment Platform
I am working on an e-commerce solution that will allow merchants to easily accept Halcyon in exchange for goods and services.

Nootropics store
Currently, i've created my own site for the reselling of nootropics for HAL, still looking in to finding other merchants however. I have received positive responses from some.

All releases are still on schedule and i've laid the groundwork for the september 9th release of the anon. I'm excited to also take some time to send some anon transactions to those who have a balance of 2,000 present to support the network. On release day be sure to come to the IRC and the ANN to participate.

Um, plus bitcoindark's outplaying everybody at the moment.  It's sucking the life out of many coins, unfortunately HAL is one of them.  No doubt it'll continue going down until either 1) Dan from XC verifies the code, or 2) We hit sept. 9th and anon's released.  Sorry, but you're going to lose a little money over the next couple of days if you bought in the mid to upper 30s.  We'll see what happens Sept. 9th.

I was actually one of those people who tweeted some price speculation and hype about Hal yesterday because I was also buying and expecting a steady uptrend until the release. I dont think theres anything wrong with speculating that Hal will  reach new ATHs in due time, but when a bunch of us start posting all these massive figures continuously, it does become a bit deterring I agree. But thats crypto. This coin will obv reach ATHs again, but like you said it depends on Dans review and it sounds like he was impressed upon first glance. But I am just wondering if its going to get delayed, which might set things back a bit. Lets see what dev says. I still dont mind bagholding if it does.

I agree the trend is down at the moment and I think it is likely we will drop further.  I've been trading this coin actively the past few days and pulled out most of my original investment already so I've decided to hold through the weekend.  All it takes is Dan to post a glowing review and I believe we'll get a really nice pump out of it.  Risk v Reward is all this game is.  The dev had enough faith in his code to provide it to Dan, and Dan has already indicated it is legit. 

This is (I believe) a new form of anon and could be a pretty big deal.  I won't make price estimates though like the 100k 250k crowd that always jumps on these threads and hypes.  It's so dumb and childish.  One day they will realize that all the hype train does is make people like me want to sell.  Which I in fact did last night after seeing all the stupidity here and on twitter.  Woke up to see all my rebuys hit at a solid basis of 31k, but unfortunately I set them a bit too high.

Im in this coin, but it doesnt take a genius to realize its going down. I sold a few at 38 and will try to get in mid-low twenties. In the meantime, waiting for the devs response whether if the releases are still on schedule.

When you see last pumps at bittrex, they'll no regret.

The "evolution" of crypto trading at bittrex turns into quick pumps with small bulltrap and dump or even just dump after pump.

I don't know what HAL will be next week, I'm just saying about this weird bittrex pump's trend.
