Has petamine considered using AM chips? If they can produce the miners themselves and match hashratios production costs they could have 2ph added instead of 1ph.

What about the 'in-stock' PSUs from Minersource for the compensation units? If the PSUs have to be shipped separately, why aren't they shipping PSUs? Is there really a chance that they will need to change PSUs?

In fact, why aren't we all receiving PSUs now and the miners once they are ready?

+1

Aren't all PSUs supposed to ship separately because of uneven weighting or something? Why not ship them now, less to do later.

I must have forgotten, BA needs them to mine with their customer's miners. Go ahead BA, I dare you to prove me wrong!

Remember the first compensation package did say at the bottom any one who has been naughty would not get any compensation.

Just looked and the rule still applies Sad

Ehh, I bet everyone who has posted on here in the last 20 pages is on the shit list, so it doesn't really matter.  I just don't see what the trust system would do to help a person trying to decide on BA or somewhere else.  I would instead look to the thread and if I see pages upon pages on upset customers wanting their units and getting disrespected by the company and then make a decision on whether to buy from them or not.  And I will use what trust/power I have to make sure that potential customers are informed.

How is it that everyone related to this fiasco still has positive trust feedback?

Is this because everyone is too scared that they will cut out any compensation with our order or just not deliver at all?

Why wouldn't we?

As somone on the ecointalk  forum pointed out:

"david105396, on 06 Apr 2014 - 2:48 PM, said:"

" I am very confident that the deadline will be made and shipping will start on time. I will personally vouch for this. "

So are you going to step down David as you were vouching it would hit it's shipping date or are you going to string us along even longer with your lies?
It's a good thing he didn't take Debits .5 btc bet  Grin

We all knew it, just by looking at the timeline, I never expected him to take the bet as he, as well as everyone else, could easily see there was never any way they could get all the chips in, test them, and then get them out the door in completed cases in a couple of days.

Now, I am again in a betting mood, David, care to share a date on when we can bet if BA will ship or not?  If you choose, "this year" i expect 10000:1 odds, just FYI.  Go ahead, give me something we can make a competitive bet on...?

Well, looks like another week has passed and still nothing in terms on shipment or even news for that matter.  I was really banking on shipping starting over the weekend/today, ahh optimism.

Well BA, where does this leave us, another difficulty change before shipping it seems, one that will push us up an estimated whopping 18% to almost 10.5B!  And who says that exponential growth in the network hashrate is not sustainable in the short term...

It also seems that Rockminer is now shipping their AsicMiner products, you seem to have them beat in power efficiency and cost per GH, but again, they are shipping and Asicminer is expected to add a large of amount of hash to the network.

Are you guys currently revisiting the compensation package?  I hope you are starting to see that anything less than a 1 to 1 match of all products will leave a terrible reputation with all current buyers (who in all honesty will also be your future buyers).

But lets just focus on getting a working product to market shall we?  Its funny how our deadlines have shifted from concrete dates that you promised you would hit, to estimates, to not even being able to give us a timeline besides, "this year".  That really is instilling some confidence in me.

I hope that a cruise missile, an aeroplane and a meteorite all fall out of the sky and hit at the same time as lightning strikes your ASIC farm.

Probably still more likely than BA shipping on time

Are you thinking Q1/Q2 of 2015 or is that still too optimistic?

Shipping will start soon and of course that means as soon as possible, when we confirm that machines are working correctly and up to their expected specifications. And no we do not mine with them before we send them out. As soon as they are ready to work, we will ship them out without any further delay.

If to be honest i doubt anyone want to see any other update than "we started shipping. So i guess that one should be coming next.

Rough estimate is this year. Not saying it will take this long, but you asked for rough one

Why not triple the hash?

Because at this point, that would be (IMHO) slightly less than fair (providing there aren't more delays.)

"Compensation" is about finding a balance between the hurt to the customer and the hurt to the seller.
We're hurt b/c we lost out on all the mining that could have been done if shipped on time. Making the least assumptions that has a calculable dollar value (in the case of a x3 about 8-9K)

BA is hurt b/c they're a business that needs to make a profit, they will make no additional profit on anything they give us. But as their business model is essentially making machines that print money, certain allowances have to be made there as well.

So the original cost of the pre-order unit (which funded BA's Asic existence which is a HUGE deal) and another full unit (now with a street value of 3-4K would be a good compromise which shows that they actually want to have customers buy from them in the future b/c they will have a good track record of doing what's right.

"full compensation" would be the original X3 and the exact quantity of BTC the machine would have mined if shipped on time. and some kind of discount on BA stuff for future purchases (as there's no way to know when people would have bought/sold, the only demonstrable case would be, if you had the unit on time, and it mined up to *today* how many BTC would you have in addition to your unit? OR an acceptable allowance for the market. I haven't calculated the Min/Max you could have made if you sold every BTC earned at it's max potential high, vs low (mainly because you'd have to say "On day 3 when the price was highest, the max I could have sold was x coins, then I could have sold qty y at the next highest/lowest etc...  If you calculated that (more power to you) that would give a number that would allow you to calculate the only fair "by market" BTC return as the difference between the two would be the payout.

But as to 2x *period* I think it's a "reasonable" middle ground, it could easily be argued that either side is getting a better/worse deal for it but there's no clear "loser". And in theory (based on the posts I'm seeing) this would probably buy them the most PR/Goodwill/potential repeat business/least people screaming litigation etc.. This also give the added benefit of *EVERYONE* getting compensation, X1 and X3, without having to have been just lucky enough to have bought the correct amount to make everything work out, or having to buy another unit, or having to buy powers supplies etc.. If you bought one you get one,..simple, works for everyone.

There's no shipping date for BA to miss now that "a few days" have passed and no new dispatch date has been provided.

The reason that no date is being given is that BA is defrauding it's customers and keeping the miners until they are worthless. Why do you think no x-1's are being produced? All the x-3's are going into their ASIC farm and all the BTC is going into their wallets.

Once the difficulty level makes the miners worthless there's a very small chance customers will have the units shipped to them. This way BA can claim they honored their end of the deal.

BA's technical/engineering abilities to produce a quality product have never been in question. The ASICs are clearly a reality and probably the best ones out there.

The issue is that these cock-suckers used our money to finance the whole project and are now building a massive ASIC farm and telling us to go fuck ourselves while they prepare to rake in hundreds of millions of dollars in BTC.

Which was why they couldn't use those to mine for us while we wait for their delays.

So tell us Matt, how long before you file fraud charges on your multi-million dollar order? June, July, August?
I saw working chips, on working boards, with kinks to be worked out, nothing ala Cointerra or Bitmines 28nm.

How much equipment were they mining with?
