I just opened the wallet and it started to sync and stake.

Hello Everyone!
Thank you for your patience. Amongst being extremely busy like Jim said I was able to look into CIV and get a node running , please open up your wallets and start staking and help the network catch up , meanwhile I will look towards getting more nodes up as well as setting up a path for this coin , unfortunately all my hardware resources are tied to NAV and I seek the support from the CIV community to sustain this coin.

Guys I am pretty sure soopy is just insanely busy with Nav right now as they are getting to release the long anticipated Anon, or at least it is scheduled to. I reached out to him a few days ago on Skype about civilization coin and he did reply that is not abandoning this coin. Hopefully we will hear from him soon but can only assume Nav has all of his attention at the moment.

Put a fork in it.... Can anyone really say they are surprised? Anyone that mined this (myself included) was making taking a longshot.. Dont think its gonna pay off on this one

Yep, my wallet has been offline for 3 days as well, even with the given addnode I still have zero connections.

@soopy452000 Good to see a post from you. It doesn't really matter how long it takes, I know you're involved in a few different projects. Just do what you can when you can, my coins are not going anywhere. I'll keep checking here from time to time
