Is this allowed cause if it would be it would make no difference between a campaigner and other, say if someone forgets to remove and spams then the campaign will get a bad name.
It's usually fairly easy to find out who is a part of a campaign and who isn't. Most campaigns are keeping public lists of their users in some way.
Others don't (bitmixer for example), at which point a quick inquiry to the manager can give you that information (Lauda in this case).
Just asking so that a rule could be made that refrains people from wearing it before, but then upto you all to enforce it.
A lot of people are wearing signatures from my campaigns (or signatures I made) without being part of them. Some do it for referral purposes, others got different reasons.
There's no need to prohibit them from wearing a signature/advertising a service. The only case in which it gets problematic is when signatures are obviously copied/stolen (to a degree, signatures are
always similar, I'm talking about direct c&p cases here) and utilized for the advertisement of other services/sites.
From what I know, if someone gets on this forum ban, it is also automatically removed his signature.
This only applies to newbie nukes and permanent bans.
