Bitcoin can be as fast as fiat in the near future, Slow confirmation and congestion on blockchain are one of the few challenges that bitcoin ecosystem is facing nowadays. But there's a lot brain out their that can solve such as this tickling problem.

So there are so many things to use for bitcoin like exchanging bitcoin to paypal or just go buy online, Or just withdraw it to the bank, (depends on the wallet you use) For me, I don't care about those big transactions as long as I earn my bitcoin for free, Its all good to me.
Bitcoin is popular but I don’t think it is as popular as paypal, also most of the fame of bitcoin comes from being a tremendous investment and not because bitcoin is being used as a currency, so I think bitcoin still has lot of way to go if we want to take a considerable amount of the market share of paypal in the near future. 
After knowing bitcoin I can buy valuable items, bitcoin is very useful if you know how to use it and many other things about bitcoin.
Been using my bitcoin to buy things and pays it through online payments. It is ver handy and convenient to use. it can be used like a normal currency money. I've been wanting and planning to invest it i some tradings but still studying the processes of it. And doing some hoarding of course. I always took the chance to convert bitcoin to my currency when it has a high value and hoards it.Well all usages told here has nothing to do with bitcoin as itself being used in real life but instead CONVERTED to fiat for transaction. In reality fiat value is working not bitcoin itself.
I found this one somewhat wrong. For me, buying bitcoin and using it for trading is a usage of bitcoin itself. And if you haven't heard of, there are now online stores accepting bitcoin as payment. There are also restaurants accepting bitcoin as mode of payment http://bitcoinrestaurants.net/ . Bitcoin is also being used for paying those who are in signature campaign or in any bitcoin related jobs. You just need to explore it more to discover more about it.
Definitely,long confirmation time would make merchants to not promote bitcoin acceptance.In japan,bitcoin usage for day to day needs have come true.Let us hope some solution would be found to fix this issue.

Indeed, as bitcoin became popular you could now convert and withdraw via banks with ease. Here in my country there's a wallet called "coins.ph" where you could use your bitcoin to pay your daily expenses such as electric bill and internet. You could also use this wallet to withdraw your campaign. So that I'm glad that we have this kind of walletJust how stupid is this?

I dint do the real time usage and most of my country people also. As there are lots of people mentioned people are collecting bitcoin for future like collecting some precious thing including me . I am trying to buy some things from online market where bitcoin is accepted i didn't find any reliable source till now . Lots of bitcoin community in my country we use wallet where we can exchange bitcoin for local currency . Even we dint dream to get bitcoin atm if it happens we will be the happiest persons in the world .

Like me, i always pay big transaction fee every time i withdraw my bitcoin because i want to make my bitcoin to be a fiat quickly since i earn bitcoin for free, i just earn in signature campaign and it is good enough earning for me. My actual bitcoin usage is buying a load and paying my bills other than that i do exchange it into fiat to spend in other things.

bitcoin has been around but I suspect that this is only the beginning of its popularity and adoption. Right now it is used more for online payments for services and speculation.
It may not be the best at paying for goods, but a slowly and surely things are improving in that regard. In the US, especially the big states like NY and California, real life usage is real, and growing by the day, same with Japan and Canada.
In Africa, it is hailed as the fastest means of transferring financial assets. It is a matter of time before it evolves into buying goods and paying for food.

High price = high fiat value = more things to buy on real world

For the whole numbers, I don't have an idea. But we already have a Bitcoin ATM here. I known 2 of them but others here say there are still stationed on other cities.

Single confirmation is enough for other merchants. And if that the case, withdraw the bitcoin instead and use that money to buy our desire needs.
Personaly I spend Bitcoins with my Bitcoin debit card moste of the time because there are still not much places, at least in my country, where you can spend Bitcoin directly. But where I go somwhere abroad I inform myself about places where Bitcoin is accepted. And I wish there were more online shops who accept Bitcoins and not only for tecnical goods.
I’m on the same situation, using a bitcoin debit card allows you to use your bitcoin everywhere but the fees and the fact you are not using bitcoin directly is a hassle, we can also use our bitcoin to buy almost anything from amazon with purse.io but I would like to get to the point where I can buy my groceries and the cashier ask me, cash, credit card, or bitcoin? That would be great. 
Last year I tried to build online advertising platform with friends.
I didn't have enough funds so I spend some of my btc funds in the wallet.

So, after all, I feel that I used my btc money wisely but now, when I see btc price, not sure any more

And that's why people are not spending even a bit of BTC on real life things. BTC is an investment now and people are more interested in holding them rather than using them. Who knows one day we may have BTC jewelry and people keep them in their chains.
Bitcoin uses increasing rapidly. So it use increase Daly life or real life. Now days japan take bitcoin randomly. Some stors, airline take bitcoin without issue.
I just use the bitcoin to benefit, each month I routinely bought $120 about 60 percent I save on paper wallet (for long term investment) and the rest I use for trading (to get more profit with short term).
