I don't think that Litecoin can replace Bitcoin. Litecoin is one of the old alt coins, so a lot of old investors got them very cheap, and are still promoting them, so it can hold its price, but the coin itself can't really do anything. But I'm sure it will be a top20 coins in the years to come.

I have seen a lot of rumors out there they are saying next bitcoin is a Litecoin it possible?
When Bitcoin is itself testing Lightening Network (LN), I don't see much scope left for LTC to replace Bitcoin. Many LN are already up on network and working. This solves the slow TX and huge fees problem for BTC which LTC claimed to solve. It will be tough for any coin to replace BTC in near future. This might be a possibility in distant future. But it is not happening anytime soon.
LTC is a good altcoin at the moment, prices are falling but I believe will recover quickly in the future!

Its not possible this, litecoin its no decentralized like bitcoin. Not just Litecoin even other altcoins are same like that all alts are centralized from people they have big amount of their coins and they decide they do what they want.
The network is decentralized but the devs have the right to reserve some amount of the coin they have, fair enough if the purpose of the token is as security or utility.Even satoshi has big amount of bitcoin too that make him billionaire right now. From my perspective, fair enough.

Do not be deceived by others. There are no coins on the market that can go beyond Bitcoin. The coins that can now surpass Bitcoin have not yet been born. He is probably the government's coin. do you know?

really i still doubt if bitcoin position should be shifted with litecoin. i think it will stay that way, litecoin will keep under bitcoin.
It is not possible for any other coin to replace bitcoin and if there would be, I think it will be ethereum and not litecoin because ethereum is the best altcoin in crypto and it has lot of promising potentials that make it a good coin. Though litecoin is also a potential coin, it does not have the same and advanced features lite ethereum.

I think it is not possible if litecoin replaces bitcoin. because bitcoin will be the top one.
This is hardly the case, because now many people do not believe in crypto-currencies in general, that is, many simply despaired and are not going to take part in crypto-currencies anymore, it seems to me that this is a big problem today

i dont think so because in my opinion there is no cryptocurrency that willl ever surpass the bitcoin, not a chance for me even though we can see a lot of potential for this altcoin, if we talk about potential in crypto bitcoin is very consistent.
Litecoin is not so popular, may be ETH or Bitcoin Cash can be new Bitcoin. Litecoin is used by small group of crypto users, and it is not going up as ETH. So Litecoin is just small crypto.

I don't belive that Litecoin will be next Bitcoin. Litecoin can be a Good coin in altcoins but it cannot replaces Bitcoin.EOS, Ethereum, Neo and BCH will make more progressive than Litecoin.
LTC was intended to be a light BTC and I don't think it would ever replace BTC.
Mining coins are on a decline at current times. Bitcoin with it's large ASIC production might remain for longer time in the lead.

This can be because of the potentials LTC has. I have personally monitored it for sometime now and I have seen that it has a great future and be like BTC but not overtake it.
I would rather agree with Ethereum as the next bitcoin. When compared it seems Ethereum more have a better price and more stable.
But everyone has faith in each coin, and believes the coin will surpass the bitcoin.

I like Litecoin a lot. I have invested in it, but I don't think that will ever be close to Bitcoins value or demand, not to mention popularity.
Not really. I do not agree with their rumors. Whoever believes it is a pig. No one can overtake Bitcoin. At least until 2020. Many people think so.
Why is it they are saying that the next bitcoin is litecoin.I can see litecoin has a slow development and also has no plan so when bitcoin down the prices of litecoin will not survive.There are better coins than litecoin so this would not be the next bitcoin in the process.
