I have a few days ago talking about a possible correction, while the majority dreamt of the conquest of $3000 and flight to the moon   Grin

This is may be due to the cash out of bitcoins from the market by traders because they made a good profit this year. It is the best time to buy coins because soon it will going to rise again as its demand is increasing.

I see no real reason maybe it is just correcting / people collect there profit and it will tank and reup again  it is always the same scenario or i hope it is.

$500 is much i know but not too much for  BTC

I absolutely agree with you, it could be just some corrections abdcwe need to be patient because we will buy them up again and get it restored or even higher so if you wanted a better time to buy it low , the ball is in your court.

Do any body know the exact reason for fall of bitcoin price? It has almost fallen $500 in the past three days.Any specific reason?
It is because there are tons of people cashing out and taking their profit,
But don't worry I think that the other investors are just waiting for the price to drop and they would buy bitcoin and again ,
And the price would pump up again so let's just hope that this scenario would happen again.

nothing apart from empty panic selling.

this is not a correction anymore, correction was happening all the way when the price was rising. right now it is nothing else other than people being uncertain of the future and because of that fearing this future and selling.

Yup! it is pretty normal actually and that is bitcoin for you, if there are too many buyers, the value will rise and if there are too many that are selling or converting then the value will fall it is just that simple to understand, I have never seen any bad news lately that are happening in bitcoin news, and it is just selling out of fear.
Bitcoin changes in terms on price is technically normal to happened. We all know that Bitcoin is a crypto-currency which it's price is quite developmental. It means that changes on its price is inevitable. Bitcoin does follow the principle of law of price and demand where the changes of it's price happens because of the support of the users or what so called community. And if the sudden decrease of the support happened the stock of the market may flatuate where the stock is greater than the transactions been made making the value or the price of Bitcoin fall.

Frankly it's about time. I think any rational look at recent price growth shows that speculators have once again pushed the price into unwarranted levels.  My gut (which means little) is whispering a valuation around $1800 - $2200. We'll see.

Im with you but I cant stop myself from looking at the price right now and its still going down fast. Should we be worried? Theres possibly more selling pressure on August 1 too, just in case you forgot.
i dont know what could be the reason too, what matter most is if we have the money it is time for us to buy bitcoin, and save it. it could be now that the bitcoin price will be going down and many of us will be panic selling i believe by the end of this month bitcoin will continues to grow its value and it will more valueable and its price will be huge as much as the highest price last time.

Lots of reasons out there. People are talking about consensus and hard fork things again and again. This affects negatively.

Just people cashing out their profits and newbie traders panicking and  selling away their coins. You better reinvest during the dip. Or if you have coins, just hold them, sit back and relax. Don't sell now or you will regret later. Wait for the price to recover.

there are too many speculation that we heard in out there and we are difficult to know where the news is the right one. but something that we should know, bitcoin price is really getting down too fast, from $27xx into $22xx, and i only considering this as for order buy and sell and the many traders getting panic when they see the price is down like this. i only hope that finally bitcoin price will be recover the price and will be back into the price before and even it will reach more high soon.

People get panicky as the Judgment day nears

I refer to August 1st, obviously. August seems to have always been a hard month for Bitcoin. In 2015 the price collapsed to measly 200 dollars per coin. In 2016 Bitfinex had been hacked with over 100,000 bitcoins stolen (and no one ever saw them again as if they just vanished into nothingness). This year it will the Great Split day which Bitcoin may simply not survive as one coin. So people are selling out their Bitcoin stashes while the price is still high. And we might have yet to see plenty of pain ahead
Sure, I think we need mentally prepare before that time. Yearly in August ussually have one reason make the price of Bitcoin breakdown, I not hope in 2017 we can see history repeat. But although not hope that, I still will sell some my Bitcoin before that event, "Safe your money is best choice" Grin

Jihan and his buddies are hanging on by their finger tips and once again threatened to hard fork Bitcoin to mine their own ShitCoin. I think a bunch

of people are fed up with his stall tactics or they panicked as usual, when the words "Hard Fork" is mentioned. The biggest threat to Bitcoin is the

hold that big mining pools has over it. We are getting fked by them and we just bend over and take it with a frown.  Angry Angry Angry

Because of stories like this coming out they are most likely going to ban bitcoin.

http://www.coindesk.com/australian-politician-calls-bitcoin-scrutiny-fight-terrorism

We all know that reason behind it.They accept money so bitcoin is also form of  digital money..
well at first yes it will affect but its also the whales who already have enough profits who's cashing out their earnings and make some shake so they can grab more cheap btc coming from those who really doesn't know how to play this system, better to keep watching the trend and assess by yourself whether to fall into this or hold and wait till this downfall make a rebound.

...

Probably profit taking as mentioned above.  These majestic up & down price cycles are nothing new, since I've been around BTC (2013), this is about the fourth...

But what concerns me is the inability of the two camps (Miner Wankers and Core Wankers) to solve the scaling problem(s).  BTC would then become sh!tcoin, IMO, if they wreck it.  BTC (and/or derivatives) would be much less likely to attract new users if they screw this up.

But the volatility is quite important this recent weeks, more than we saw before. I don't remember Bitcoin value failing of 900$ then coming back then the next week failling to 2200$. It makes it really dangerous to play with Bitcoin trading. Look Coinmarketcap, I agree it's not only Bitcoin, but this recent huge up and down is specific to bitcoin only (not considering shitcoins of course)

The current fall is due to multiple reasons one of them being how stretched the BTC price was, with such a gigantic and quick rise, a simple fall isn't impossible to think off or predict. The other reason would be the issue regarding Segwit and how the developers are threatening with a new blockchain and a fork, which is something no investor want to see.

We are in the oh my god the price isn't rising yet, not thinking panic sell phase. It means more speculators, and more weak hands selling. Bitcoin is a game of musical chairs. You win by either being totally utterly devoted to winning or by having enough fun to derive other value. If the game grows big enough it will go on forever until the last human being has dropped.

This is a bad moment indeed, when bitcoin prices are falling very quickly. But I still believe that bitcoin prices can still survive and will slowly rise.
I will save bitcoin and do not rush to do panics sell.

BTC will recover in time. It was a massive jump on all coins so there is a correction happening.

Be time to reinvest is when everyone is panic selling. Smiley
