One of the rare doable icos. I see you as AirBnB of the crypto world. Good luck.
Airbnb on the blockchain- that sounds like something that can get huge. Most important for them will be an easy to understand website which can be used by everyone

Rentberry is already controversial even without the blockchain component. Anything controversial has the possibility to either wither away or become disruptive. Remember the protests against Uber or indeed AirBnB.

Thank you for digging up this article. It's already quite dated, it's from before the ICO, but informative nevertheless.

I'm a little surprised that even BBC is writing about the cryptocurrencies. Who knows maybe world will change

Yeah. Its not about this crypto project but nevertheless media exposure such as this is very good for Rentberry for the fact that it proves that its a real company in existence already.

Everything that is new scares, and everything that scares causes rejection or destabilizes some centralized service. This is the problem with projects so well presented that they sometimes get a negative rating. It is necessary to analyze and have own opinion mother I am still following this is I hope better days

the Rentberry system can be also profitable for each users, the fees will be lower than actual fees on the rental market.  Wink
If true those are good news for renters that can have it cheaper or for landlords because with the same price they earn more money.
This is the reason why you need to have these coins.

So is the rent going to be collected in cryptocurrency? This would have many pros and cons. Definitely, a challenge to overcome.

They're going to accept both fiat and BERRY, which is a brilliant move unless you think that the world will be ready for crypto only payments in 2019 (imo unlikely)

Do you know if there are any incentives to use BERRY tokens instead of paying with fiat?

Hi MandatoryOption,
Our goal is to educate users from their first day. There will have various programs like token promotions, free tokens to new users, bonuses for specific actions, etc...thus we’ll be able to drive adoption of BERRY tokens.

Thanks for your quick answer. Promoting your token so that there is a huge user base is important. Free tokens for users would be a good idea but I am afraid a lot of these users would rather sell them than use them on the platform.
That's the problem with free tokens but every project has to evaluate what is better for them.

Sure and you can't neglect the amount of attention such an "Airdrop" of free tokens could bring to a project. When only a fraction of the new users get interested in the platform and the project it is still a success.
Its better to use a promotion rather than airdrop.
Like some good deals for limited period, or like get a free TV / refrigerator for early tenant.

Hi everyone! Tell me, in which cities does Rentberry already carry out its activities?
It's all over the US now. and expanding later next year to Canada, Australia and NZ
When they already cover a big part of other countries, this will surely get enough attention to survive.
But I just wonder if their world wide spread will cross other waters to head for some european countries.

I think European countries would be ideal place for Renberry's expansion plan but they need to concentrate first in the US and solidify its foothold in real state rental market.

Are rentals not as common in European countries? I live in the US and its VERY common. I guess I just assumed most countries were that way.

Sure they are.. most people rent.. i think the minority is an owner here in Europe. It's pretty much the same as in the US.

do i understand this right, you are planning an free airdrop? or is this only to get users onto your plattform?

This will be done to promote BERRY token over fiat.
