Plagiarism case, newbie user copied some older  Cryptotalk post from 2019 and opened a new topic here , most likely fishing for merit. He even copied typos from the original source, like Stellar/Stiller, Redcoin/Redquin..

Digital currencies and cryptocurrencies aren’t the same thing?”. Nope, they are not!

Digital Currency Defined

According to the European Central Bank’s 2015 “Virtual currency schemes — a further analysis” report, virtual currency is a digital representation of value, not issued by a central bank, credit institution or e-money institution, which, in some circumstances, can be used as an alternative to money. In a nutshell, digital currencies are another name for money used to pay for specific goods or services on the Internet.

Cryptocurrencies Defined

Cryptocurrencies are algorithm powered currency used as tokens in select online communities and Cryptocurrencies are a specific variant of digital currencies. Cryptocurrencies use Blockchain and a decentralized ledger.

Digital Currencies Vs. Cryptocurrencies — The Main Differences

1. Digital currencies are centralized, Cryptocurrencies are decentralized
2. Digital currencies are not transparent, Cryptocurrencies are transparent.
3. Digital currencies have a central authority, Cryptocurrencies are regulated by their respective communities.

Digital Currency Vs. Cryptocurrency – What’s The Difference?

Have you ever wondered what the differences between digital currency and cryptocurrencies are? “Hold on a second”, you say… “Digital currencies and cryptocurrencies aren’t the same thing?”. Nope, they are not!

Let’s pit digital currencies vs cryptocurrencies and see who comes out on top…

Digital Currency Defined

According to the European Central Bank’s 2015 “Virtual currency schemes – a further analysis” report, virtual currency is a digital representation of value, not issued by a central bank, credit institution or e-money institution, which, in some circumstances, can be used as an alternative to money. In a nutshell, digital currencies are another name for money used to pay for specific goods or services on the Internet.

Cryptocurrencies Defined

Cryptocurrencies are algorithm powered currency used as tokens in select online communities and backed by certain technologies, assets or projects. They are mostly used in peer-to-peer payments but are now increasingly used to pay for real-world goods and services.

Cryptocurrencies use Blockchain and a decentralized ledger,

As you can probably imagine, digital money is entirely digital, it doesn’t have a physical equivalent in the real world. But, it acts in the same way as physical, traditional – or fiat – money. You can receive, transfer and/or exchange digital currency for another currency. It can be used to pay for goods and services, in an online store, for example, and it has no geographical or political borders.

Digital Currencies Vs. Cryptocurrencies – The Main Differences

Though cryptocurrencies are a variant of digital currencies, there are some key differences between the two.

1. Digital currencies are centralized, meaning that transaction within the network is regulated in a centralized location, like a bank. Cryptocurrencies are decentralized, and the regulations inside the network are governed by the majority of the community.

2. Digital currencies are not transparent. With digital currencies, you cannot choose the address of the wallet and see all money transfers since the beginning of time. This information is kept strictly confidential and private. Cryptocurrencies are transparent. Anyone and everyone is able to see any and all transactions made and received by any user, as all revenue streams are placed in a public chain – the blockchain.

3. Digital currencies have a central authority that can deal with any problems or issues. This central body can, for example, freeze or cancel transactions on the request of the participant or the authorities. Cryptocurrencies are regulated by their respective communities.

With the launch of the sikobaPay MVP, we have reached a major milestone on the road to the production version of Sikoba. We are about to start pilot testing and may well be processing the first live transactions before the end of April.

While work on the project continues at a rapid pace, despite the coronavirus lockdown, we continue to invite potential partners, pilot/beta testers, translators and investors to reach out to us. Relevant links: [https://www.sikoba.network] . We have also launched a token airdrop, for more information visit our  channel.

MVP Released!

After six month of intensive work on both the back- and the front-end, Sikoba core developer Dragan Postolovski proudly presents the sikobaPay mobile app.
The brand-new MVP version of sikobaPay, currently available for Android phones, has all the essential features that are needed for real-world use:
account creation with SMS confirmation;
management of user settings, including preferred currency, payment target and clearing flexibility;
request/accept connections with other users, including via generation/scanning of QR codes;

create/accept credit lines in multiple currencies, with configurable conditions: one-time fee, interest rate, repayment target;
payment function that includes a search for optimal payment paths;
completely customizable credit conversion, with global/single conversion maximum as well as per-user limits;

ongoing clearing, taking into account payment targets and clearing flexibility;
payment requests via QR codes;
a multilingual interface;
….. and much more.
Beta testing with a few partners will already begin this week, and we will start onboarding additional beta testers on Monday, 6th April.
Of course, much remains to be done and we still have some months of work ahead of us before the launch of the Sikoba mainnet. However, it is likely that live transactions will start being processed much earlier, maybe even before the end of April, as we are seeing strong demand to “just get started.”

Partnership with De Kär

We have reached an agreement with De Kär, who operate the Beki regional currency in the canton of Redange in Luxembourg, to implement the e-Beki via a co-branded version of SikobaPay. One of the specific features of the e-Beki will be demurrage: the Beki will slowly lose value over time, in order to favour velocity of circulation. Consumers will still have an incentive to use e-Bekis, as they can receive 103 Beki for €100, in effect adding 3% to their purchasing power at local stores — as long as they spend their Beki promptly.
While the e-Beki is being developed, De Kär will seek to introduce sikobaPay to the businesses that use the Beki today.

Other business opportunities for Sikoba

This month, we have held constructive talks with Fairtade Luxembourg. Our goal is to obtain the Foundation’s support in making the Fairtrade network aware of sikobaPay: thousands of local cooperatives, ranging in size between a few dozen to tens of thousands of members. This represents a total of 1.66 million farmers and workers world-wide.

Max Hilbert (De Kär, coordinator of the Beki regional currency), Alex Kampa (Sikoba), Geneviève Krol (Fairtrade Luxembourg director) and Jean-Louis Zeien (Fairtrade Luxembourg president)
We are also in talks with other potential partners, two of whom have already signed letter of intent. Now that our MVP is ready, we should be able to quickly progress from talks to actual beta testing.
sikobaPay Wins at the European Finance Summit
On 5th March, Sikoba won the “Pitch Your Startup” semi-finals at the European Finance Summit, in the Fintech category. The finals are scheduled to take place in September.

isekai Update: Pointer Comparison Added

This month, we have added support for pointer comparison in isekai. We still don’t have full pointer support as memory handling is tricky in the context of arithmetic circuits, but the feature we have added allows us to support complex type array instantiations such as MyClass A[10], where MyClass is of non-primary type. Indeed, when a class has non-trivial constructor, LLVM generates a loop, conditioned on pointer comparison, to construct all elements of the array. isekai then must be able to determine in that case when the loop is ending.
Coming Up:
In the next weeks, we will work on the iOS version of the sikobaPay app, so that iPhone users can also start testing it. We will also work on documentation, completing and cleaning up translations, adding more languages, and of course on fixing bugs and improving the mobile interface based on user feedback. As to the next development stages, there is still significant work ahead on the web interface, better accounting for commissions, additional business features as well as work on the blockchain layer.
To replace cancelled meetups, we are planning to host an AMA session on Youtube sometime in mid-April.

In 2018 Robert Kiyosaki classified money in 3 parts saying we have Fiat, Digital and God Money.

He categorised Dollars, Yen and the likes which are paper money as Fiat. While he also categorized Cryptocurrency particularly bitcoin as Digital money. He categorised Gold, Diamond, Brass as God's money.

The main thing I learnt from him was what he said about Gold and Bitcoin. He said Gold will be a generational asset and wealth to him and that he has and will never sell it off but will pass it on to this children. He said he had about 3 bitcoin as at then and leaves them as pet in his wallet, saying Bitcoin is the future of money system.

Well which is worth more? I'll say bitcoin because of its usecase. Gold is just a store of value.

Most people thought that after the virus outbreak, money would go into Bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies as Bitcoin is considered to be the only ‘’safe-haven’’ asset at the time of crisis. But Bitcoin collapsed by 15% after the virus outbreak, thereby defying people’s expectations.

However, it is to be remembered that the value of Bitcoin is driven by demand and not on factors like interest rates and GDP than other fiat currencies depend on. Therefore, the prices of Bitcoin though showing volatility is most of the time, still remain steady when other markets fall.

bitcoin in the short term will definitely be more volatile and gold will probably be a lot better as a sort of "safe haven" than bitcoin, simply due to the fact that bitcoin's market liquidity dwarfs gold's market liquidity.

No one knows, and we can only speculate. What unit of gold are you referring to specifically anyway?

Some mention of that account is in this thread but I don't know what to draw from it.

it was apparently an interesting topic. I mentioned it before, but you chose not to believe it. I'm telling you again, including the account I wrote right now (so this account @printmule) @saulzaents @mich @ ap3311 accounts were also mine. I then sold @saulzaents and @mich accounts through the forum. @saulzaents has been banned in this process, but other accounts (@mich and @ app3311 are still in use).

It is a stolen/hacked or bought account and the forum staff keeps turning a blind eye. I am amazed to the current day. This is what happens with a lack of transparency on who handles these things.
Since no one asked for the account back, we can assume that the previous owner sold it. Another thing that is more than clear is the fact that the campaign manager still pays the full amount to the specified user, although as in every signature campaign there is a rule "Maximum of xx constructive posts/week". The only thing that makes sense in this kind of situation is that the account is under the control of someone from bitcasino, or the campaign manager.

Definitely one of the biggest shitposter on forum, copy/paste with source link - but I see you found some posts where he is forgotten to add source link, which in some cases, was not treated as plagiarism,., But it all depends on which mod will evaluate the situation.

I think this account is in hands of someone who is connected with bitcasino, which explains that he is still in the sig campaign which if I'm not mistaken, pays 0.018 a week - for such shitposting Huh

It looks like the account was bought / hacked sometime around January 22, 2017. That's when he started posting after a long break. Interestingly, he had never been active in the Turkish part of the forum before that date.
I have no idea why he promotes Bitcasino and what's the connection between them.
