Someone can invest for both terms. This is a good coin and has started picking up a good demand form the market. Someone wants to makes 20 - 30% on this coin can easily do it in next couple of week itself and make the good profits. Also this can be bought for the long term as well.

Many people? I'm not impressed of what Ripple is doing. I'm not ever going to buy this centralized token that can collapse anytime. You can go long term with this coin but you'll never assure that this coin can survive once its value increases. Many already warned you folks that this coin is a bankers coin and you know what the banks are for right? it's still early to think of this and you can think again soon while you can. But as for the profits, I know you'll never leave.

Agreed with your opinion this currency has a big potential and is actually ine of my favourite. Now longbterm or short term. Isn’t that for yiu to decide? I mean with its potential growth i will definitely invest on Ripple for as long as its doing great but I would also protect profits that I accumulate.

Holding of XRP in long term is not an option, because I cannot see any factors that could increase demand for XRP in long term. It is all that I can say.
