Ripple has fallen all the way from $ 4.5. Most of the cryptocurrency experts believe that not only, it will be able to reach those peaks but it will also be able to create new highs as well. That is why many of the cryptocurrency experts believe that it will be a good investment opportunity.

I think it might break $1-$2 again in the future, though it might not reach $4.5 again. So it might be good idea to hold.

Only long term for Ripple. It's long term investment. Token XRP (Ripple) using in xRapid, not xCurrent. Banks testing xCurrent now, but after this they wil test xRapid (product with XRP) and price will grow. I sure that XRP cost  will 10$, but in 2019 (x11 from today).

What's your approach towards Ripple? I can see both sides making sense.

I think when it comes to Ripple, you need to have a lot of patience because it seems like a project for the long term,
Despites advance increase in BTC AND ETH, Ripple has refused to go beyond 0.8$ mark.

if you have enough eth, you can get more Ripple and just hodl,
its a decision that will bring more profit in few months time i believe.

Monero is also mooning fine, Nordvpn has activate a menu to subscribe to their plan paying with Monero,
Numerous tokens, just invest appropriately.

in 2 periods, Ripple always pumps at the end when bitcoin has reached the top, I see it all. so I think Ripple is great for the long term. at the moment the price is still low. very good to buy and hold. and wait for the pump time back.

Ripple for me is good for medium  to lomg term, but it's risky for me to hold this coin coz it's a vaporware coin they partner with several banks and I think the threat here is they are expose to alot of hackers which is not good for cryptocurrency.

Ripple is more suitable for long-term investment, but recently I suggest that you can buy some, because Ripple's market value is now underestimated, it may follow the pace of ETH and will soon rise.

in my mind, Ripple has a serious potential though centrally and one of the best options for long-term investment because it has a very strong team, a very interesting concept, and progress along the way in the last five years. and although many people hate it, it's still very likely to increase value and price.

ripple is one of the most surprising coins of the past year where there has been considerable growth, ripple is one of the most potent coins, and according to the news I read ripple is used as a reserve coin in banking and government, ripple is now stuck in its growth, but we do not know what will happen to ripple 1 or 2 years ahead, I put optimistic on ripple,

What side is making sense to you?
My approach to Ripple has been negative and I don't really like XRP since then. You can take the ride of this coin but I'm telling you that you'll regret if you think that this can be a good long term.
Do you think that a centralized coin can be one of the best?
Personally, I don't like the idea of a centralized coin as it goes against what crypto stands for. However, I can see why people (especially banks) would want to start using them. So in that sense, holding makes sense if you're after profit
Can you name a bank that is serious of using them? Bank is centralized and crypto isn't so there's no sense of calling it a crypto and besides.

ripple still good to hold nowadays IMO , even though its value keep fluctuate 'cause besides there's still some good news about it .so i preferred long term instead of short period 'cause its not a profitable manner.. like for example ETH, also which is in the last few months the growth rate dropped and now the price growing gradually , so surely ripple will soar in the future as well like what happened on some alts nowadays.

My plan is to hold a long term. I have faith in the future of XRP. Looking forward to the end of this year its price will rise.

Short time i guess. When i see Ripple its change constant values. But its certainly good coin. But i think not a long term coin.
Yes i agree, fluctuations of price every now and then makes ripple a short term investment also the huge market cap and large number of circulating supply it will not reach even 20$, i guess ripple is good for short term.

Not so long,i think just this year ripple will conquer this market with full conviction, but thats not accurate because we know that this coin is manipulated by banks so we really have no faith about its future potential

Ripple is one of my favorite cryptocurrencies, it is a very solid project with an excellent team. Its technology has been adopted by very important companies worldwide, and many others will certainly use it in the near future, so I think it is to be bought and kept as long as possible to have good profits

I'm sorry to ask you this, and please don't feel offended, but do you even know how ripple works?
I only have some basic knowledge and if I'm am wrong I expect someone in this forum with more knowledge about ripple than me to correct me, but from what I know, this is how it works:

- XRP (the native token) is only used to pay transaction fees, in order to prevent DDOS attacks. Basically Ripple tokens are destroyed when tx are made, so it could make sense to invest in them, assuming they would become scarce in the long term, in order for the network to keep working.

- The problem is that this will never happen, because the destruction rate is simply to low (0.00001 XRP are burned per transaction, so that's 100,000 transactions per 1 XRP, and we have like 100 billion XRP available?). It would take thousands of years to destroy all tokens. From what I've read only 0.00526% of all supply has been destroyed so far...

So basically, even if the network gets mass adoption, and is used by banks in order to make cross boarder transfers faster, the token itself will continue to be "useless" and cheap.

XRP is not meant to be a valuable token. It's just part of the protocol, to make the network work in a safe manner, so it can't be seen as an investment, because it's not.

I would not have advised you to buy this coin because it is centralized and controlled by banks. But if you have already decided that you want to buy this coin, then this is your choice and I think that it is better for you to save it for a long time.

I think so as well, holding make sense a lot for ripple, on the other hand if you catch a great shorting oppurtunity why don't get this, but never use long coins for shorting it is risky a lot.

ripple is likely to increase in price, if it has to bear it for years to come,
a great chance to hold it and have it, because the ripple founder always
keeps the ripple up for the future to come.
