I have a longer term view with Ripple, and I never short anything as I don't like the practice nor will I take on leveraged positions. There is still good movement in the Ripple price and I have consistently bought at lower levels and cashed in on rises. Each time I do this I wait for the next dip to rejoin.
What's your approach towards Ripple? I can see both sides making sense.
I treat Ripple with great care, it is tied to the banking system and can not be independent, so I do not dare to invest in it, and you see for yourself, it's up to you. 
I believe that ripple can be kept for a long time by periodically selling a part to the pump and then buying more at a low price.

I maybe late but i will continue still about what had ripple reached this past weeks.Ripple took over the top two position against ethereum for couple of times things that might answer one side of your question and that is to hold wayback you posted this
BUt still i will advise you to make hold for long term as ripple has a bright future because of being centralized cryptocurrency and back up by banks
I think XRP is only suitable for short term trading or short term holding. Due to the natures of XRP , it's very difficult for XRP to increase price too much. x2 is impossible. In long term there are more potential coins such as bitcoin, ethereum, litecoin.
I am absolutely sure that Ripple remains an excellent choice for profitable long-term investments. Including Ripple has an excellent team of developers, useful technologies and excellent potential for successful development in the future. Therefore, now is a great time for a long-term purchase and hold Ripple, while prices remain at a minimum
XRP has had many new partnerships and lot of good news lately.
It has potential to overtake second position from ETH in total value.
I sold part of my XRP for $0.6 when it was pumping and if the price will be below $0.4 then will invest again.

We all know the fact that XRP has been working with banks,this could also be made the power to XRP project in the future. The best option I think is to hold but if you have many coins you can long and short term.
But we also know that ripple has cooperated with banks a few years ago, this is not a new information. And just past the XRP being pump, I think the current price is not good to hold

I am sure that Ripple has a bright future. The banking sector is increasingly paying attention to their advantages. It is possible that this coin will soon be able to overtake bitcoin by capitalization. There is no doubt that we need to keep ripple for a long time.
Short terms are for this coin only. Lont term is very unpredictable for this one and its ability to be survivng is low I suppose so long terms are not about this one.
How can you that it is not good for long term investment? Any specific reason? Come on mate this coin is very promising in this tough market situation. I believe you would have heared about the last month XRP value, it overtook eth. It is growing slowly and it will become popular in future.
long term of course because some company already used it and more companies will interest ripple in the future so this altcoin is good for long term investment.

ripples always have a big chance in every growth if the market situation has returned to normal. yes, a few weeks ago the ripples were tight for ethereum the difference was very small, even though it was coming back down now
This alternative cryptocurrency is good for both of these variants so choose the most suitable way for yourself. In bith situations you will have a profit.

Ripple is a coin with which you always have to be ready, both to purchase and sell. You can not say when there will be a pump or dump. But they will definitely be, because this is the whole ripple.

I think Ripple may be bullish, why? Because it is now accepted by more companies, and its team is very powerful! If you need long-term investment, then you can choose Ripple!
for me ripple for long term. every alts are not good but few alts have good future & ripple is one of them.if we hold ripple for long-term then we can see big one.because ripple team are very active & they are working hard for establish this.so we can trust on ripple team.
With the ripple you may have to wait for the bull season to make money in the long run. but it is easier to earn money in the short term, from time to time can be daily rises and you can make money
