Agreed, a couple of years ago, there were a lot of promotions (in the games and round section) from both Roobet and Duelbits but that sadly stopped some time ago. Now you see some newer casinos launching promotions as it is a good way in getting new members.

Agreed. They cannot pay so many people endlessly. All sites cut costs here and there with time to make sure that they stay in the profit zone which is what Roobet did here. Clever moves basically.

Honestly, it's amazing seeing sites like Crypto.Games, Roobet, Duelbits etc advertising through signature campaigns(Above Average Pay Rates) consistently for years.

They still have multiple campaigns here in the forum, the signature and of course the art contest every Month. They reduced the number of participants for a purpose and they’ve been here in the market for years and maybe they already meet their target market and population, that’s while reducing the cost is also part of it so they can use the funds into other things. Marketing campaign is very important, and so far Roobet is practicing their best to maintain the quality.

As for the Roobet Casino in particular, I believe that reducing the number of participants in the signature campaign is not evidence of a lack of casino activity, because that would have led to strengthening its advertising campaigns on the forum and not reducing them.

You can interpret what happened as a change in strategy after the casino secured a distinguished position among its competitors advertising on the forum, especially since the signature campaign has been still active for more than three years.  (I personally remained a member of that campaign for more than two years before the latest update procedures).  Therefore, everyone knows the casino and it is difficult to forget the brand name and logos, without forgetting that the casino still runs competitions during which it distributes generous rewards.

Its the trend, and we cannot blame those casinos as redirect their focus into other things and that’s ok.
Roobet is still active in other things though especially on social media and every month they have promotions. I do hope that they could continue to do their art competitions here, not because it may have greater returns, I am not saying they must be profiting from this, maybe they do or maybe they don't, I really do not know. However, it's something new and interesting and we need to keep it going for it to mean something. They are providing something for this forum that nobody else does, which is a chance to win by everyone and nobody else does that.

Normally, when you have a signature campaign, you pay the people who are legendary accounts a lot of money, and the newbies get nothing at all, with art competition you remove all that barrier, and you could be a person who registers today, and win tomorrow. That's always a good chance provided to people, and roobet helps with that.

Most casinos invest a lot of money to market their platform in the forum but when they get enough players then they somehow reduce their marketing activities. That's the worst step taken by a casino I guess because without proper marketing they won't be able to get more players on their platforms which result into less traffic overtime.

It takes time to increase traffic on a platform and marketing is the essential part of it. I think Bots and X is very old relationship. If X had to do anything with it then they should have done it already. Somehow there is lacuna in the entire code of X and if developers try to change it then it may collapse the entire X ecosystem. I am not sure if it was the previous owner who let it flow freely throughout the X or it was unknown security bug that they never worked on?

If it is a code, you know how to fix it. If it is still not getting fixed then its definitely intentional.

Anyways, to the part where we are getting robbed by bots in Roobets promo and contest on X, I think they should be screening the followers on their accounts. Be it manually with team of lets say 5 moderators but it can be minimised slowly. The only question is whether it is worth it?

Even the team itself finds it difficult to decide between a real account or a bot account, so I'm too lazy to do it seeing as I've participated a lot so the winning ratio is quite small.

I don't know even if the have any security measures to determine the bots suspicious activity or not because they are in huge numbers and whenever there is any giveaway without any strings attached you would see them attacking that tweet so many members don't take part due to this thing.

It's pretty common for most casino after some years of launching themselves here. If you remember the likes of Cloudbet, Bustadice,Bitsler etc, they used to have lots of promotions here back in the day but as time passed their activity reduced in the forum.
Now I am not saying every casino follows the same path but sometimes these things happen.

I don't think it was a traffic issue since many members of the forum used to usually participate in those contests. I think that they just felt it would be better to focus on social media sites like X(Twitter) for higher profits.

Bots are literally the bane of X. Their pathetic security team sucks at minimising their activity chasing away legit members.

Yeah the forum specific events were also good way to motivate the community members as many might not feel comfortable in these Twitter giveaways due to bot involvement but we should always try and see if you are lucky or not.

Correct Roobet seems to lessen their way of advertising here in Bitcointalk and not planning
to add more anytime in the future as even their Signature campaigns are now running with 10 members from 60 regular members
this shows the team is not that having big interest  about their events now though the art contests continues but looking at how
they marketing way now? maybe after this last event the team will end even that art contest but hoping it will not come as it
nourished artists in this forum and even those not so artists now become participants.

As far as I know the manager has statement regarding for not launching that contest back again since maybe they are done with it and they didn't get much traffic from that contest or maybe they create new to enjoy their community. But I guess those contest you mention is really good  since you need to pay close attention on those slot games in their site so that you would get the right answer.
