It helps to have an ANN thread but unfortunately there is no active Roobet representative on this forum anymore so I don't think they really follow BCT, which is a pity.
They can observe the announcement thread and discussion with Read mode. Similarly to people only read posts in the forum without any account.

By running their signature campaign here, they actually are spending money and I believe not only the campaign manager, they actually have some contact points and staffs to follow up effects from their signature campaign, contests as well as discussion here and beyond it like accusations. If they see something valid and big, they will certainly join the discussion and answer our questions.

If they no longer care about their brand here, they would have shut down all marketing activities here.
As long as they are doing marketing, how they are doing it shouldn't matter. They can be here and not do any marketing and that would be worse compared to what they are doing right now, I prefer them not being here and doing marketing anyway, it's a lot better in the end. They do have a point of contact, with the campaign manager, but I think support staff at the website itself is a lot better option and should be considered their only way of contact as well.

I believe that as long as they keep the marketing going, they are going to be fine. Plus with all the art competition as well, that is one of the highest paid competitions around bitcointalk forums, and I think that should be the point of focus, the marketing, not their activity in their account.

sometimes the contests and raffles on some websites is also provably fair in a verifiable manner
but on social media it's harder, easier to fake, usually done just to farm engagement

I prefer not joining on social media.

But I do not think Roobet will fake their social media giveaways, what is it for them to gain if they fake it?  They have been hosting several contest already and they always deliver with integrity. Why not make a try on this Social Media promotion of Roobet, who knows maybe you will be the next lucky person to win.

Oh, sorry, I'm not accusing roobet of anything and I don't think they'd have a lot to win by faking a giveaway, also believe in their integrity as a business after so many years and so little complaints with any proof
I understand that my last comment could leave the margin open for interpretation but it's not what I meant.

I don't really think he meant that Roobet hosts fake giveaways. He probably meant to say that they are infested with fake bots which makes more sense though I could be completely wrong.

Also, I don't recommend wasting time on any social media giveaway and put that time to better use on more productive stuff instead.

Whats in there for Roobet to host a giveaway or any other casino that does. If a casino like Roobet hosts 5000 bucks worth art contest every month, or they giveaway millions of dollars on festive promos, then why would they fake social media giveaways which are just few bucks worth. Its funny to hear.

You are not wrong, they are legit but its peeps that are going the illegal ways all the time. What could be the good word here, “scam-masters”.

I have been part of Roobet community since very long and never had second thought that they would go in fake shits. Its unfortunate to see how peeps on the social media are poorly handling these giveaways. Its more or less greed over joyness. Sad to here this communications still on going.

I follow the Roobet platform and can be considered an active community member since I spent more than two years in the forum signature campaign here. In addition, I used the platform to try out some games several times. The most I can confirm is that it is very unlikely that the marketing team will resort to any fraudulent methods to promote their brand, as it makes no sense at all for them to launch a fake giveaway at the same time that they will pay double the campaign amount in other campaigns such as competitions and signature campaigns.

Recently, the number of participants in the signature campaign was reduced, and I was one of those who left. Frankly, I expected that the platform's revenues would decline, meaning that it would not be able to continue paying more than 60 members per week. But it later became clear to me that this is part of the marketing strategy and has nothing to do with income.
It is an honest platform and cannot risk sacrificing its reputation, regardless of the amount allocated.

Not entirely true, although I do not know Dplay myself, I think they still have reputation in the industry.  Not because they don't have an announcement thread here, they are already a non-reputable casino.  Some casinos are highly reputable even if they are don't have any ann thread here in Bitcointalk.  The world is way much bigger outside this forum.

Dplay is connected to freebitco.in so it is a reputable casino, they don't have a thread on this forum but the connection itself is enough to prove its seriousness.

This is the advantage of having an ann thread in the forum.  Moderators and staff of a casino like Roobet always monitor their users feedback and act accordingly for the satisfaction of its users as long as it does not breach their contract agreement.

What are the differences between Dplay and it? I've never tried Roobet, whilst Dplay does offer a non-custodial way of playing, which is something I value quite a lot as I've never enjoyed leaving my funds on the website for too long. Does Roobet offer anything similar?
The difference is Dplay has no reputation because they don't have ANN thread in this forum, when someone had a problem, the casino can continue their operation without any worry because there's no other site with good community except this forum.

The number of participants is huge, though. I've looked through the submitted numbers and then picked "998" because it looked like nobody has picked it, and now I hope that among 627 entries I will be the luckiest one. What are the odds? But anyway your chances are zero if you don't participate.
The number of participants might not be as huge as you think because most of those entries are probably bots/multi-accounts belonging to several people which is a common practice in X these days sadly.

This is why I prefer sticking to our forum contests where everything is 100% fair in comparison.

A Bitcoiner chooses. A slave obeys.
The difference is Dplay has no reputation because they don't have ANN thread in this forum

Not necessarily true. The fact that they do not have an account on Bitcointalk which has reputation scores underneath it is true, however they can still have a reputation here, especially if it is a bad one. And that bad reputation could be in the scam accusation section as well as in the gambling discussion section, for example.

Dplay should consider making an account on this forum though, it would create a much better overview of their reputation. Good reputation is something that is not really mentioned often on threads on this board, unlike bad reputation.

It would also help them immensely with their marketing efforts. By not signing up on Bitcointalk, they are missing out on a lot of good marketing. And if you ask me, bad marketing effort is a red flag to me. It just means they are not really taking their business seriously.

Even we have experience to deal anything had been said still there are times that we commit some mistakes and lost some self control on gambling.

But what's more important their is we don't commit to much financial damage since if we are still financially fine and not doing any risky or tragic act that can create some big problems then we are still fine.

Also for gaining that will power to minimize our losses could be gain thru a lot of experience so for sure by consistent participating on any gambling activities for sure we can learn how to control some huge financial losses that we might encounter.
I do agree that it is going to be something that has to be a bit more emotionally controllable, and if we could end up doing something that is bigger, we are going to end up with a trouble that would not be all that confusing. I do agree that it is going to be a bit tough, and I agree that it is going to be a bit of a risky move, but that doesn't mean that we are going to end up with a trouble for the long term, it will definitely  be possible to make it work one day or another.

I believe that the best thing to do in this case would be just working to make it better, and since that's not an easy task, I believe that it would be possible to make it happen one way or another. I believe that we need to forget what could happen, and just focus on the possibility and not be out of touch with realities of gambling.

I stand with Ukraine.

yes, not sure if they don't have a newsletter

They do have a newsletter. I get them. The promos they have on their website are just the ones in it tho and no other unique promotions. Unlike other casinos that I am currently subscribed to which gives out free spins from now and then.

They are pretty much active on twitter for giveaways and here in bitcointalk for contests.

Yes, they are. Here's the newest(clickable):

This is easier said than done. Most gamblers lack proper self-control due to which they end up gambling away their funds in the long-term despite being aware of all the stuff that you mentioned.

The ones who possess great willpower are few and far in between and they minimise their losses/win against the house in the long-term.
It's hard to control ourselves and if it is something related to money, greed, emotion, it's harder.

We always have choice and chances that allow us to experience a thing like Trading, Gambling or Investing. The key note is trying with small money, if you fail many times, it's time to seriously thinking of stop doing this again.

So if a person failed many times with Trading or Gambling, it's time to stop it and consider other things like long term investment.

Life is like an endless Learning from trials and lessons but make sure we don't ruin our life with trials and failures.

This is good advice, but only a small percentage of gamblers can take the advice well.
we don't need to talk about people who have talent and expertise in gambling, because usually they can make a profit from their gambling. However, people who gamble without skill usually always lose their money, and in general people like this are difficult to advise.
It is a fact that gamblers who are difficult to advise are always like that. What is on their mind is how to recover losses from gambling that they have done before, but what this means cannot be measured just because they have skills and gain profits from gambling, gamblers who have Expertise and frequent wins are also difficult to advise, the most important thing is how they control themselves so they don't gamble beyond their limits.

Every gambling game that is played will definitely experience defeat and failure, which is why the most important thing is to be able to control yourself when gambling because treating gambling addiction is very difficult to do, so play wisely so you don't get addicted to gambling, learn from every failure and loss that gambling is. must be full of responsibility and not play recklessly.

It is true that the advice is good and that life in general is like a process of constant learning.  But I must note that at some point in a person’s life this process begins to move not in the direction of acquiring new skills and knowledge, but rather in the opposite direction, when knowledge and skills begin to be forgotten and lost.  It is not for nothing that in old age many people become as helpless as children.  As an example, it is enough to look at some facts in the public speeches of the American president Smiley True, there is a possibility that all these absurd actions of the president are just a performance for the public.  This is just a prank to increase ratings.  But this is a separate conversation and is not for this topic.
So, loss of gambling skills also occurs and such a player eventually stops playing or severely limits his games.  But this of course happens for different people at different ages.

Indeed. Greed to profit is often the reason why we can't follow the basic rule of having a self-control and spending only what we can afford to lose.

The biggest risk for me is that I can start tilting when you have a bad streak. When that happens, you are like desperate to win it back and start playing and betting like crazy. Only thing that really helps for me, is keeping my balance really low and also lock some funds in the vault (if casinos have that option).
It's normal to feel that way when we are in bad streak. However it's a must that you are able to control your emotion to prevent yourself chasing your losses. Well, a set budget can really help because your funds are only limited. Thus, even you're eager to get back what you have lost, it's just in your mind since you don't have funds to take action.

If you can't learn from your mistake, then I would say that you don't have business to gamble.
It's too risky for you, gambling is already risky and as a gambler, we should know how to manage the riks, otherwise, we will end up addicted then homeless. Worst case scenario, right? But at least try to see your self to be in that position so you'll prevent it from happening.

Only thing that really helps for me, is keeping my balance really low and also lock some funds in the vault (if casinos have that option).
No casino would do that as it's against their intention.

You'll only be limited if you keep winning, but if you are losing, they'll be happy to serve you (24/7).
What feature I know is that "self exclusion", where you choose to lock your account at a certain number of days, or months.
