Gambling is wagering/staking something with an uncertain outcome. While on the other hand, investing can be said as committing to something with a calculated expected outcome, consequently owning parts of the thing you are investing.

If the gamblers only play on the site, they own nothing. It is inapplicable to investors since they own part of the shares/things, regardless of the outcome. So I believe both things should be differentiated.
You are missing the point. Both are different terms obviously, but people tend to use investing loosely as similar to adding funds which is why it's silly seeing some of ya'll trying to differentiate between them.

I think this discussion makes it very sick. Just like someone said above, forget about it and keep enjoying the Christmas that is our way. Let us put some money, try to chase those raffles and enjoy with Mr. ROO.  Wink
Sick? What the heck are you on about? We are simply having a healthy debate about gambling and investing. Think properly!

Whatever we call it, let us stay on point: we do that for the profits and fun. Roobet has made amazing Christmas trivia this time and I think it is the point of focus right now. I am not sure where all this discussion of investment or no investment started but we should just have fun with it. Anyone can call it anything that doesn't matter since the outcome is fixed: profit or loss. It doesn't matter if have our wallets from Roobet, the money in here is just for representation. The money is already secured in their custody right when we transfer to our unique BTC address. That is a custodial wallet but we have given rights to withdraw or deposit via it at anytime we want if we have proper levels of KYC or no KYC account.

I think the idea started with the fact that someone asked if it is smart to keep your money here even when you are not gambling or not. I am on the side that it's a bad move, you should not be putting up your money in your roobet wallet if you have no intention of gambling, even if you gamble with "some" of it, you should not put the rest here neither.

That's the point where it all started and it is definitely related to roobet. Imagine if roobet had to deal with billions of dollars worth of bitcoin in their wallets all trusted by the people and they do not make a dime out of it, would that be something they would want? Neither roobet would want it nor should any gambler/investor should want to do something like that.

I also never miss this, eventhough they only give 0.01 USD per open and 0.03 USD if you successfully flip Mr. Roo logo (Heads). I think I only get that amount because I haven't wagered on Roobet this whole month. I think this is just like a rakeback they just make it look interesting.
How about you? What is the average amount per open you claim in this Frosty Flippin Roobet giveaway? You didn't provide in this post 😁

I am also baffled about the use of the terms investment here too.  Is it the money use for gambling or money used to invest in a gambling platform which in return will give a person some passive profit in depending on the platform profit?
I don't understand why you guys are getting so confused here. Investing itself means pouring your funds into something with the expectation of acquiring profit which is what gamblers try to do with their funds in gambling sites.

Dont know on why you guys are really that making use of the word "investing" on which you are really just that pertaining about on making some actions in trying out to test out some new sites or platforms.
I don't understand your point here. Investing implies adding funds which is what we are talking about here.

I am also baffled about the use of the terms investment here too.  Is it the money use for gambling or money used to invest in a gambling platform which in return will give a person some passive profit in depending on the platform profit?

I do not think that funds used in gambling activities (betting and wagering) can be called investments.

What I do believe is that as long as the funds stays in our gambling wallets and remain untouched (meaning we deposited but not using to bet) will be called an investment because casino houses can be used also as place to hold(though this is not advisable) as I have used this in the past(of course not planned) that I deposited some amount but since I am drunk and fell asleep , I forgot about the funds for some time until I visited that site and the timing is when the market goes up that the value of my bitcoin of course increases.

But to answer the concern , yes Gambling money isn't investment because the moment we play and lose, then all is gone so there is no  literally an investment remaining .

Whatever you call it guys its fine but I think its nonsense to talk about this topic anymore since its kinda not related to anything happening on Roobet since there's a lot of things more important to discuss rather keep debating about certain topic like that. For sure lot of discussion in that topic will arise since everyone have their own opinion regarding on that topic.

Maybe best to follow their X.com account since there are more exciting happenings there which is good to talk about and also the or any existing promotion that they launch here since its more relevant on Roobet thread.

Well, It can still be considered as an investment since you're using your money to gain although in a much risky way and no assurance at all. I don't think this is a big deal since we have our own perspective regarding on the money we use to gamble. If it's an investment for you so be it, if it's a throw away money, that's your decision.

Anyway, holiday is near and long vacation is approaching. What slot games from play'n go can you recommend?

There's no really needed to get confuse on certain situation since any gambler can call what they want to describe on the money they pour on gambling sites. If they think its investment for them since they are looking forwards for good returns while playing then let it be there's no one actually criticize on his definition towards that action. But if some think this is not investment since this is just pure gambling with high risk actions then let then think that since it all matter on peoples description and let everything think whatever they like since we have freedom here. As long as they are fine on what they do then that's what matter the most here.

I think the risk factor is not minimized when sticking to small amounts but the one minimized is the possible losses. Kindly correct me if I am wrong...
You are effectively minimising losses by sticking to small amounts in new sites due to which the risk factor gets reduced.

Some might have the courage on taking up some risks and some would really be just that waiting for others feedbacks before they would really be getting in.
Well its a common approach and action made by someone but dont make yourself that be like this most of the time.
You need to understand that every site was new at some point which is why taking risks is essential in order to find out whether the site in question is legit or not. The risk factor can be minimised by sticking to small amounts initially.

Vave.com - Crypto Casino
To be honest, it's hard to determine casino's trustworthiness by only looking at reviews. Many people post a negative review if they lose and don't profit from casino and that's wrong, that doesn't make casino a scam company. If casino pays on time and has no technical problems with good customer support and response time, then they deserve positive reviews but people rarely consider these criterias.
Critic reviews and user reviews do help to a certain extent(References), but your own review is what should matter the most. You should invest small amounts initially and check if you are satisfied with all aspects of the crypto gambling site that you are interested in.

If you are satisfied, you should proceed to invest bigger amounts. If not, you should avoid the site. Simple!

Just exactly something that I love to do when I am assessing any website that has money in it. For gambling world things are obviously very critical. The money flows like river, unstoppable if we dont control ourselves. So on top of this if we are getting involved with a casino that has reputation from the references but later it came down to fake one then no one is responsible for this but we ourselves. The references are just for referring or to get an outline of something. But I am of a logic where we should test things ourselves and then only go for investing.

Roobet was one of the top most in my list since beginning because I believed in it after investing over the course of time and getting back what I deserved. Well the list is obviously grown now but yeah thats the way it shall work for everybody.

Maybe you do mean on just trying out to throw some test amounts on which you could really be able to tell whether the site is legit and paying or not. For us people here on the community then on the time that
we are seeing something new specially on a gambling site then it would really be just that normal that we would really be that skeptical on dealing with it.

Some might have the courage on taking up some risks and some would really be just that waiting for others feedbacks before they would really be getting in.

Any reviews given is really helpful since it can determine how trusted they are or not. Even if we can read some fake reviews still we can determine if they are using bots or paid review since we can read out of this world statement came from those bots. Our review is really the most important thing there since we could personally know if the casino is legitimate or not since we could provably see a legit review especially if they have a thread posted since there's a lot of legitimate people well tell their experience about the casino we are trying to know their reputation.

Also its automatic and we can't think any further especially if they can't provide a quality service since we can quit immediately. Unlike those trusted platform where we can enjoy and also use the amount we can afford to lose but if they can afford those big amount then its up for them to decide.
