I do agree that important websites should never be accessed via search engines, links on third-party sites, or email. It is always safer to enter the site's URL directly into the browser's address bar, or to navigate to it using saved bookmarks.
At a certain point in life, if you are gambling then you put it on frequently visited part on your browser. That way you just click it at the top and it goes directly to the website. If you are gambling and doing it at least semi-frequently then you just need to put it out there. Going to google each time just doesn't make sense at all. Mine are under a folder as well, a drop down menu that opens all the casinos all at once, and that way I get to gamble a lot more quicker. Obviously everyone has their own opinion on the subject of how to gamble.

However, I believe that using that top frequently visited websites thing is something that we should definitely use instead of googling the website each time.

@aysg76 I don’t know about you’ll but for gambling and crypto sites I don’t recommend using google, rather use some other browser which has better security in place. Also if you’re new to a site eg Roobet take a minute and read those spelling in the url, they’ll always be wrong if it’s a fake url, and the book marks is a good suggestion which I personally follow to be safe.

Can you please suggest an alternative to Google Chrome that gives you better security? I was unaware that Chrome has any security issues. Perhaps I misunderstood what you said.

I do not want to get too off-topic here, but what do you recommend as an alternative?

I am using Chrome for gambling and crypto for quite some times now. So far I haven't faced any security issue in chrome. As already mentioned, its good to book mark sites that involve financial transactions. As you never know when you become victim of phishing attack. If you want to be extra careful then TOR is good option for that.

Anything related to google products is a big surveillance camera and this has always been the issue up until now[1]. If you really want to at least secure your privacy while browsing the internet, I suggest using hardened firefox or just a simple firefox browser with some privacy extension installed on it (e.g., uBlock Origin, HTTPS everywhere). You can also consider changing your search engine to DuckDuckGo instead of Google.

The only downside is the limited search result though, but browsing with less phishing sites and trackers is much better. Alternatively, make use of bookmarking Roobet website to lessen the risk of visiting such malicious site.

There's Tor, or the better option IMHO, Brave Browser.
I stopped using Brave browser when someone noticed that that they are using referral codes on their products which I think is a red flag for a company whose cause is to value privacy.[2]

[2] Brave browser hijacking links and affiliate codes!

Even though the Brave is not really a complete privacy browser still its better compared with Opera, mozila Firefox and Chrome browsers snd there are not much options in the browsers even in 2021 which is really a sad thing to know.

Also some people prefer duckduck go browser but I haven't used them because I fell they are too much laggy compare with chrome products so whenever we want complete privacy the only way is to go for Tor.

Good catch up we know that Roobet is one of the top tier known gambling platforms and we expect someone tries to copycat their platform, but base on the url it's too much obvious it's just a duplicate platform unlike other phishing links having some misspelling.

~snip~
Yeap, the UI is unintuitive, I don't think that particular page should behave that way. I guess the filtering option from their end messed up, probably it's because the time of the event(?), I don't know for sure.

Even if they intentionally did that, I think it is surely a bad decision for the user experience. Maybe someone from Roobet team is able to verify it or better they hear your suggestion here, hopefully.

I guess they will make an update regarding with their user interface because in some cases me also got some bothering experience but well it's roobet management they can handle those things if they think might some changes be needed.

However, if you are worried that you will never be as good and stop because of that, there is zero chance you will ever be good.
In short we can say that if you don't have self-confidence then nothing is achievable in life and you will lag behind others so having confidence in yourself is first step to boost up and progress in life as demotivated person do nothing good to himself and others.
Absolutely right, there is no substitute for being confident whenever something bad happens I feel very alone many people lose confidence in their thoughts and beliefs but you also have the ability learn to think. There are some qualities in you that set you apart from everyone else trust your own thoughts and beliefs.

What also helps immensely here is to use an adblocker. The scam sites usually buy advertising spots in Google search, and would never be on top in a normal search without payment, because the clicks are far too few. If you install an adblocker, the Google Ads will also be hidden and you won't see the fake sites at all.
This is good idea to prevent you from pooping up all those scam ads on your browser also but yes sometimes they are also visible and you have to manually turn off the settings as mentioned by @fatfork and then you will not face any problem. There are many such sites that can divert you to some fake websites but this is not the case with the site referred above. But still precaution is better than cure.

Suggestion:

I've got a bit of a suggestion/observation on the Sport betting platform, it's a bit stressful try to navigate the football league fixture lists to place bets, the events are seemed to be arranged randomly rather than in order of which events are to take place.

I attached a screenshot below, that should explain things better

https://i.imgur.com/GJ6TuwI.png

Use the calendar filter near the top of the fixture lists to view the matches only for a specific date. Simply choose the day and only the matches for that day will be shown to make your selection easier.

What you should be looking forward for is the progress you are making instead of getting demotivated by other members just because they are good at what they are doing. You see, other members are correct that you should take into account the time spent learning their craft. As I have said before, I failed numerous events in an art competition and I am sensitive enough to understand what you feel, however, it should not be a delimiting factor to strive for something better especially in the art scene.
Thank you for that encouragement but sometimes there is such thing that we must accept the fact that our entry is not enough to compete with others. I am not demotivated, just accepting the fact that in this field of an art contest you are so weak. When I saw your entry, it is too far from mine and I know at the end, those the same entry as yours will be the lucky winner and get the prize. It is good to give up than forcing yourself from the truth that you are a good artist but in fact, you are not. But thank you, those lack of skills in art like me was admiring your work.

I don't think it's a phishing site or a fake casino website. Upon clicking the links on that website, you will be directed to this url:

You are right. It's not a phishing website and although they added a disclaimer at the bottom of the page stating that this is a non official website of Roobet, what they are doing is still considered unethical to say the least. They must add a clear affiliate disclaimer.

I wonder if it is allowed by Roobet's referral program T&C..
Regarding the referral program T&C, they are breaching, at least, three of its clauses as you can see below:
You warrant not to create a promotion website or social media account, which includes the company name, the website's name, or the company’s trademarks, and logos...
You warrant not to attempt to mislead other users or consumers by promising them false or misleading benefits for signing up to the website and its services...
You acknowledge you can not run an ad campaign with your affiliate or promotion code. Including but is not limited to browser ad campaigns, including but not limited to Google,

I have installed AdBloker in Chrome browser but when I do a google search sometimes the ad is still there, like I just checked what @Droomie said and the ad is still there even though we have installed AdBloker.

As part of their fair-usage policy, some adblockers pretermit certain ads. You can usually turn off this option in the settings of many adblockers, including AdBlock Plus, which calls it 'Acceptable Ads'. Also, you might try some of the other popular adblockers if this does not work.

So one good thing is to bookmark the site instead of having to type in the google search engine and this usually won't go away that I know about this roobet.

Whatever site we visit often, if you don't remember the URL of the site, it's better to bookmark it.
