But what if the other site require it also in future? Maybe I will choose to use roobet if thats the case since first they are reputable and second they are big casino which we can safely used. But if you don't like to do this well maybe its time to avoid and start to think if you still want to play or not.

Also I think in future online casinos will require this to their gamblers so we better prepare ourself unto this options.
If in the future other sites also need it, then inevitably we will definitely do KYC because this cannot refuse, it has become a rule that has been implemented, maybe almost all of them, so you have to prepare which option is better, roobet is also a big site. Until now there are still many enthusiasts but I am not a problem, and if this disturbs with that condition then I leave.

But it is true that someday in the future the KYC implementation system on crypto gambling sites will definitely be held the same as Roobet even though many of the platforms are against it.

The question that may need to be answered, why do we not have the option to delete KYC document if we no longer use a gambling site?
You don't need to worry about data breach situation if you are using trusted casino service like Roobet even after you are not ready to play on it.You need KYC documentation for huge withdrawal only and once you start winning it's no longer an obligation. So why not ask Facebook and Google who are selling your personal data information on dark web for sale and that's a major issue for us as every person is using their services from a long time.Once submitted documents are already saved with them for long time and you cannot delete them.Being annoymous is preference for crypto players but you need to cope up with some legit casinos as they do not want funds exploitation and security of players.

This would require a more detailed knowledge of the regulations. Here in Europe, KYC documents (and trading activities, for example) must be stored for 7 years so that the data is still available in the event of a crime. In this case, you do not have the right to insist on the deletion of your data.

I assume, however, that such regulations are very similar worldwide and will therefore also apply to Roobet in a similar form. The only possibility as an end user if you do not want this is not to use the offered service (exchange, gambling platform, ...) and to switch to alternatives that do not require KYC.
agree, if we really don't want to do KYC then it is highly recommended to use other platforms that don't need it...
Very Few that we will find a gambling site that has no KYC requirements , Some doesn't implement it all the way but it was written in  their TOS about their rights
to ask for KYC if necessary meaning that though others does not requires you means they will never ask in future.

Most specially if we are talking of Big amount of withdrawals.

Even though I don't play on roobet often, I have already completed KYC there. I believed in roobet from the start, and firmly believe my personal data is safe with roobet, although the risk is still there.
Thats a Good first step mate because sooner or later you will be active in Playing again and since you find roobet is one trustworthy site eventually you will play more on this.

Well, then come to India, things are even worst here. It is illegal to do gambling in this country and there is no need to do KYC because we don't really have gambling sites here.

Casino's like Roobet has given us pretty good expansion and so I wouldn't mind doing my KYC here. I have already done it and so far I am comfortable with it.
I feel good about these Crypto currency based casino's for this one reason, they are virtually anonymous.  Tongue

I don't think a casino with billion bets would ever break the trust of their customers.

You raise an excellent question. My understanding is that, in accordance with the GDPR, every user should have the right to delete personal data from any platform that requires KYC.
I'm not sure if it's the same with Roobet as well since I haven't checked. Could someone please confirm whether this is possible within the account settings or if customer support is required in such a case.

If you are not following the security regulations of Roobet casino platform then you will automatically loose access to your account and your funds. The KYC is now mandatory for all the Roobet users and Every player has to comply with this and if he/she feel any kind of hesitation then you need to find some other alternative for your Gambling. But if you are facing any technical issue then you can contact the support team for Roobet and they will try to resolve the issue promptly.

That's what it is now but has it always been that way? It wasn't added recently? As you can see in this post, they were saying you can play anonymously. Anyone would have understood that as playing without mandatory KYC right? Then @UserU pointed out here that the wording has changed from anonymously to incognito.
It clearly is a recent change since Roobet actively encouraged anonymous gambling in the past, but that has changed now. Your details are only visible to the Roobet team and won't be exposed to outsiders.

However, if a hack happens, your details could get leaked to outsiders which is why handing over your KYC details is a risky proposition no matter how genuine the site in question is.
This is the recent update on Roobet, and we're talking about this one for almost a month now. We all know the advantages and disadvantages of KYC, if you think its not safe, you have no choice since Roobet didn't want to make revert from the original policy as they continue to grow and have numbers of gamblers coming into their platform. Online world are too risky, its not safe so if you think your details is safe from any site, you're wrong on that even if you didn't fill up KYC, google have your details as well.

This fact has been discussed and warned many time and should get the attention of anyone wishing to gamble on a site asking us to complete KYC. Nothing is completely safe for me online, so we should consider that from the start. I don't mind if a very reputable gambling site asks me to complete KYC, but I don't know how long that document will be kept by the site. So far, I think they will keep it forever even though we no longer use the site.

The question that may need to be answered, why do we not have the option to delete KYC document if we no longer use a gambling site?

KYC Level 1 has only been mandatory for a relatively short time, discussions about it started here in the thread around mid-April:

Any one of you guys noticed that KYC is now mandatory? The identity confirmation suddenly popped up today after I refreshed the page.

No official announcement from Roobet it seems.

So I wouldn't assume that it was already in the terms of use. Unfortunately, only someone from the Roobet team could answer that. If you read on from the quote you will also find tips that you could enter fake data to withdraw your coins, but I would definitely not recommend that, because Roobet verifies the data for sure, especially when it comes to larger amounts!

@Bttzed03 it is clearly written in their AML policy that all users need to compulsory verify themselves before they can do any kind of withdrawal, and if you fail to do it you’ll lose access to your funds.
Quote

Step one verification is a simple KYC (Know your customer), which must be done by every user and customer to withdraw as recommended in Directive  2018/843. Disregarding the payment choice, the amount of payment, the amount of withdrawing, the choice of withdrawing, and nationality of the user or customer, step one verification must be done before any withdrawal or transaction to another user can be made.

Step one verification is an online document that must be filled out by the user/customer himself faithfully. The following information must be filled in: first name, second name, date of birth, country of usual residence.

We do not allow any withdraws of funds until the KYC is filled in and approved. In case of misinformation or unfaithful filling in, the company may hold the funds until the KYC is approved. We might ask you to do Step two verification before withdrawing any funds if you filled in intentionally wrong information in the KYC online document.

Furthermore if they suspect your details they may subject you to complete steps listed in verification 2, hence if you wish to withdraw you’ll need to submit your details.
I have no issue here because this is present in almost every online crypto casino.

It's mandatory KYC which has been discussed for sometime recently in this thread as @kotajikikox mentioned above. You need to fill in the form in order to access the site again and recover your funds.

Don't fill in fake information since it could become a problem later on. However, if you have issues with providing your KYC, your funds are basically locked.

no wonder roobet experienced a surge in 'total bets' in such a fast time...

roobet is one of the best crypto gambling sites, with minimal complaints, and diligent promotion, this is what makes players don't hesitate to continue betting there. go to 2,000,000,000 total bets in 3 or 4 months.

Unfortunately, this is a "dialog" that you can't click away to stay on the page, so you can't get into the menu to do the withdraw yourself.

Since the verification was only introduced after your deposit, I would contact the support directly in your place, they can certainly help you. Due to the fact you can't reach the live chat on the site, I would try it directly via the support email address (at least it worked last year for me, I hope it is still active): [email protected]
