Update of my account.

Finally got the pops-up KYC for my account, seems to effect this you at least need to login a few times or day and then the KYC pops up will showing up to your account. Can't really get this out so need to fill my early information, don't know for the people who already put their information did you need to take a picture as well on step 2? or after you finish step 1 with information KYC don't need to do step 2. Grin
As far as i know or do able to read up their KYC does have step 1 and step 2 or further steps which you might need to fill it out. Basic KYC was imposed and needed to be
complied on for you to make withdrawals and its been discouraged on not to put fake details so that you wont really be having some problems in the future.

I think it's time for me to say goodbye to Roo and wish them good luck for future endeavors.

Thanks for all the contest and glorious memories, especially at Guess the slots Wink

Well, I'm not going to say goodbye to Roobet casino yet because I really enjoyed playing there. However, I am hopeful that they will see a flaw in this approach and rethink their decision. Until that happens, I'll find another way to satisfy my needs.

Fortunately, there are still a good number of reputable casinos that do not require our personal information when we gamble with low stakes.

Having the same thought, this is one of the con's on having some KYC even no matter how light or simple it is but there are people who arent really comfortable with this one.

My guess is this KYC is mandatory for all since they use Roobido thus act like an exchange. Also, I read about the case of multi-accounting with over 150 accounts. Well, If they create promotion that can be abused with multiple accounts, mandatory KYC/AML is unavoidable. I think it's time for me to say goodbye to Roo and wish them good luck for future endeavors.

I think if Roobet asked KYC for the next level it could be they detected suspicious activity from that user.
I asked directly in Live Support whether the level in KYC will affect the limit for withdrawing answers from the agent is No.
If we don't do a suspicious activity, I think level 1 KYC is not a problem because level 1 doesn't ask for any documents.

Until now, i see there are still lot of user playing on roobet, so i think most of them were ok with KYC (few of them might be filled the KYC with fake information)
Filling with fake information might turn to a problem later on if they ask for supporting documents to verify our identity. Well I guess this is not an issue if you're not a big time gambler who often withdraw huge amount.

Anyway why there's no skip option for this kyc? Is it really necessary to comply to be able to play?

Its not really a total mess up since this isn't really that much serious when we are talking about personal informations which we can really neither input fake or real info.
On the other hand, if we fill in fake information, we could get screwed later on if they try to verify those details while withdrawing big amounts etc. This could lead to the casino voiding our funds, closing accounts etc.

This becomes a problem if we fill out the information with the wrong information if there's a chance that their team will take another advance level for the high amount of withdrawals this becomes trouble. I think their team are now making a decision about this kind of feature they release hoping they will change their mind will keep an update for this.
Probably it will be best to fill those forms up with our "quite real information" for those next possible verification that Roobet will possibly be following up soon. Well, it's just that if the user wants to continue playing on site that requires KYC for withdrawals.

Honestly, I did not expect that Roobet will come to this kind of decision. Hoping to hear something from them.

. I don't understand why some users didn't require to fill up KYC, what's the standard if ever?
Sooner or later they will asked for that. There is no standard for one with other user who required to do KYC. As long as you want to play on roobet, you will get that notification.

Not cool! Not cool at all!

I don't think I will trust an online casino to hold my identity. Let's see if other casinos will follow. #RIPOnlineGambling

This is indeed an unfortunate case but still there is no clear information about this pop up KYC. Surprisingly, not all users get the same thing so there should be a specific information why some needs to fill that and some others doesn't. I hope others will not do the same, crypto gambling industry should remain what it should be which is about anonymity of the users.
We don't know if this is a level 1 KYC or another KYC to be filled once you've done the first step but this is something that its hard to accept since Roobet was one of the best gambling site. We have to hear the announcement from the team and explain this sudden change of rules. I don't understand why some users didn't require to fill up KYC, what's the standard if ever?

sad to See this , Just last night i logged in and the site did not asked about this but now as i try to re log in? here it is i was asked to provide such details.

I trust Roobet for long time as i played but looks like i will deny this identification for a while. and might check what will happen sooner .

I'm also turning down the KYC asked from the since I'm not comfortable yet for providing my details to anyone but as I love playing here since this is one of the casino I like to play maybe in next month I will execute what they ask to me, but for now will just watch how other done it since I want to make sure that everything is smooth before I provide mine.

Its not really a total mess up since this isn't really that much serious when we are talking about personal informations which we can really neither input fake or real info.
This is the tricky part. If we fill in real information, we are basically handing over our personal details to an online gambling site that was supposed to allow us to gamble anonymously without the requirement to provide such details.

On the other hand, if we fill in fake information, we could get screwed later on if they try to verify those details while withdrawing big amounts etc. This could lead to the casino voiding our funds, closing accounts etc.

This is why it's not always advisable to fill in fake KYC details(Depends on site) since it completely defeats the purpose of KYC in the first place.

I feel that it is related to the use of VPN, perhaps those who gets the pops up are those who use VPN while playing on roobet. Maybe those who gets the pops up can confirm here in this thread whether they use VPN or not.
I Never use VPN since then for playing Gambling But yet i was requested to send and undergo KYC so i think this is random? or maybe for everyone but just taking part by part so some others did not have requested for now but for sure will be in the enxt days.

I don't use VPN either, but was requested to fill out the form others talking about in this thread. So, there's clearly no connection to VPN usage.
I agree and i think that All of the Roobet users will be required filling this form sooner or later .

Overall, I feel like we'll be asked to fill out such forms more and more in the future, and I personally have nothing against it. In the world we are living, anyone can be traced if needed, even spies from the top intelligence agencies, so thinking that you'll be more secure without providing KYC to Roobet is a bit naive, imo.
@Hhampuz had already mentioned above what is the benefits of having KYC though we all knew that many people here hates this to reveal their identity specially in Gambling purpose.

I'm not saying that we should provide our personal info to anyone on the web who's asking for it, but I trust Roobet and that's why I filled the form with honest info.
In this we will both agreed.

We have Withdrawn and deposited large amount of funds inside this site so why should deny our identity that in the end we will be the one to benefits in future.

As of now, you only need to fill in your identity without having to submit any further verification ( most likely only for the age requirement of minimum 18 ). Its a mandatory KYC for everyone in case if you want to play / withdraw from the site so if you currently have nothing on the site then you dont have to fill in anything. You are free to choose another casino that doesnt ask for your KYC

I think it's better if they will occur this kind of KYC for only those who have a large amount of wage, deposit, and other things such as suspicious activity, this KYC bothers me because you are letting them handle your information even you/i a lower-tier gambler but if there's some like identification of submitting your id with an image of yourself I think this might cause a trouble in the future.

Its actually not. AFAIK there isnt any country that is banned on Roobet ( CMIIW ) and the only reason that some are using VPN is to bypass the region block for some of the slots. Some providers might be blocked depending on where you lived

Yeah, that's not quite accurate. It would be almost easier to list countries that are not restricted at Roobet. Wink

i managed to pass KYC level 1 but for level 2 and 3 it seems i will not continue.  it is the right of each individual to not do KYC, however i think KYC makes a lot of players uncomfortable.
Players do feel uncomfortable giving their details away just for playing a few games. Personal details are important and having them in the wrong hands could be problematic.

btw, i see many members who have problems using a VPN when opening roobet, until now i'm still very safe playing on roobet without VPN. (confused)
Yeah, some casinos do not allow players to play when VPNs are detected...

Some people does have that common impression that theyre been blocked by the site itself if they cant play some slots. lol. on where the fact that slot providers are the only ones who had been doing that because not
all countries would be catered out when it comes to that manner. KYC 1 isnt really something for everybody to bother on because they can really put up some fake information but its not really that recommended
as per Roobet reminder.

You dont have to. You only need level 1 to be able to play and withdraw from the site. I posted this few days ago, a staff from the live support has stated that you only need to complete level 1 KYC to be able to withdraw
