Smart is not enough, there must be skills
I suppose @absolutely-positioned should clarify the situation here and update the ANN post:
Exactly, Only the someone from roobet team can give a clarification about it. And they should it soon since there is a lot of players here are waiting to know about this.

I checked their telegram channel and the twitter handle I did not notice something related this issue (if i am not wrong). Though this is the 1st step of identity verification, Maybe some people will not love this and try to keep them away means they will lose atleast some players.

"absolutely-positioned" has not been active in this forum for a long time so indeed most of them are still waiting for definite clarification from the roobet team.

I have also checked all roobet social media including telegram, there is no announcement on this one, so are you still waiting or leaving the pop-up not filled?

Of course some players will avoid this way.

When they are already asking out some KYC via pop out and it seems you cant get rid of it then maybe its time to find some another casinos.  Cheesy

I might be able to do that as I normally dont really keep that much in any sites but some people especially the highrollers might stay even with the KYC enforced.

Fortunately, I also don't have much on my Roobet account. Of course, looking for another casino to play at is an option, but first we need to be able to withdraw our current funds from Roobet. It might have been nice to have a heads up before they decided to force identification to users.

We do not allow any withdraws of funds until the KYC is filled in and approved. In case of misinformation or unfaithful filling in, the company may hold the funds until the KYC is approved. We might ask you to do Step two verification before withdrawing any funds if you filled in intentionally wrong information in the KYC online document.

Their KYC-AML lastly updated in 28 January 2021

LoL I filled in fake identity on my account  Tongue . I didnt even notice this term was updated on 28th January. Btw I think this level 1 mandatory KYC was enforced recently probably yesterday or Saturday. I played on Roobet last friday and the pop up didnt show up back then.

True, there was no indication of this when I last used the platform a few days ago. Regarding changes to the Terms of Service, I doubt that many users monitor this on a regular basis if Roobet does not notify us. Either by the mail or through the website.

I hope you don't have any issues in the future as a result of submitting false info. I'm still reviewing the best course of action here.

I suppose @absolutely-positioned should clarify the situation here and update the ANN post:

Does Roobet's imposition of mandatory Identity confirmation on their players have anything to do with the issue of money laundering?  However, those who want to continue and do not worry about submitting their details must be true to their information because what is the use of requiring the company if they know it can be faked because only these players will have problems, in consequence, to be dealt with in case in the future if they do not be true to what will be provided.

Most probably, but imagine facing KYC right after you register, not cool.

The casino I'm promoting requires newbies to undergo KYC for crypto withdrawals (skins excluded) unless they've been playing on the site for quite some time. Mainly because we offer fiat deposits through cards and that made chargebacks way easier for fraudsters to commit.

So be careful if one day you win big and have problems with withdrawals  Cheesy Actually if  have to choose roobet don't want to apply KYC because they might lose some players I'm sure they are aware of that, it's just that the rules / legality require them to do it so there's no other choice now the player decides whether to stay or leave.
This would really be definitely affecting their reputation now because people on this forum or in this market as a whole does really hate up KYC which means they would really be losing
up some customers on here unless if most of them are just small time players but we know that chances of making small amount into a big one is plausible when we do play
slots so this would really be a big problem for some or might be a serious matter. If this one doesnt bother someone then he can just simply put fake details but as mentioned
by some members or poster that it would really be giving some headaches later on.

Well that's what I mean. we can still play in other places without having to make KYC with the same game and promotion
It might be different if roobet offered something for verified users eg double prizes at each promotion or increase the claim reward for the rakeback

For those who had inputted fake information.

Step one verification: - KYC
Step one verification is a simple KYC (Know your customer), which must be done by every user and customer to withdraw as recommended in Directive  2018/843. Disregarding the payment choice, the amount of payment, the amount of withdrawing, the choice of withdrawing, and nationality of the user or customer, step one verification must be done before any withdrawal or transaction to another user can be made.

Step one verification is an online document that must be filled out by the user/customer himself faithfully. The following information must be filled in: first name, second name, date of birth, country of usual residence.

Didn't know the update but as far as I remember, I also didn't put my personal details yet because it is not being asked before and not mandatory. I think the other KYC will be asked if you are dealing with the huge funds so you have no choice but to comply with their KYC since Roobet is being regulated. I have no against to any KYC as long as I'm dealing with the best site, and Roobet is one of those.

As for the level 2 KYC , I think you are more likely to be asked for it in case you try to withraw a big amount or there is some sort of suspicious activity from your account . I mean if my real name is Peter Parker and I filled in Robert Parker for the level 1 KYC, Roobet wouldnt even know about it unless I tried to do weird stuff in their site

Don't fill with fake information on KYC level 1. Roobet has the right to ask you anytime more KYC if needed to proven your KYC by ask your national ID/passport/driving license if needed.

~
Some users got the same pop-up after logging in while other lucky guys are able to withdraw the funds without filling the form. If the cookies still keep you logged in better to not log out since the KYC requirement will be mandatory after the first login. There is no mistake, everyone has to pass the KYC level 1 to continue playing on Roobet, there is no direct solution unless you fill in fake info. The fake info can not be verified, so don't win big unless you agree to document verification Smiley
I have filled in the info on the form, of course, with the fake info that is given just to continue the game on roobet, yeah, KYC level 1 has now been applied to every user.

But does anyone know what is the withdrawal limit from KYC level 1?

But what about the big gamblers who withdraw thousands of dollars or more? did they provide the official paperwork, I think some will oppose this with some big gamblers, so for me, this is not a problem as my current withdrawal will be limited to under $100 which may be sufficient for safety reasons alone.
No idea. But once you deposit over 5000 euro, you will be asked your source of wealth according their KYC & AML policy

I am seeing people are describing about it already. It's for all the roobet players or some players who possibly did some mistakes or something like that? How you guys are solving this issue?

It is not but as some other has pointed out, you might get some trouble with it in the future. Normally it happens when you try to withdraw huge amount as some site might takes some extra security check in case if someone win unusual huge amount. Thats when it could be a problem if you fill in some random identity for your accounts
It does have pro's and cons if you do supplied the wrong information which you have said that if ever you had able to hit some big amounts and then there's some issue attached to it then for sure
it would really be asking out for some verification and when you do supplied wrong information since from the start then that would really be putting you up into a big trouble.

Nailed the point, it is meaningless to fill in fake information if the user wanna continue gambling on the same platform. Imagine, hitting a 10k win and unable to withdraw because of filling in fake information. Well, someone can argue that he is not going to win such amounts over $1000 but why you are in a casino if you don't want to hit the max multi in the first place.

I also get the same notification, but I have filled in with the pseudonym I entered, which means it's not the real name, but it seems like this is only for a little verification and can still make withdrawals, so far I haven't had the chance to make a withdrawal as long as there is this pop up.

As long as we do not provide the original data, therefore there is an identity that must be hidden in the conversation thread above, there are some who say carelessly, as long as we submit the contents in KYC.

I want to know if this pop up appears after you make a deposit? so far I haven't seen it on my account and indeed I haven't made a deposit since the beginning of the month
I would totally leave roobet if it were true they asked for KYC every user I will not take risks even though KYC can be done carelessly.

But I am not still sure that it actually for the all roobet users.

It is a mandatory level 1 KYC for every accounts. There is no way to avoid this because it keeps popping out everytime you login into the site and there is no skip button for it

I believe it is not necessary that you place the exact information of yours on that KYC form. Since there are users who did that, most probably it is fine.

I guess identity verification is now mandatory to all the Roobet.com users,
If it would be right then it's a bad things for roobet users. But I am not still sure that it actually for the all roobet users. I don't know the actual reason but  I admit that I have two account on roobet means I created first time for testing purposes and later I create new account by matching my forum account username. First time I thought maybe this was for that reason. Smiley LOL

I just can't think of the main reason of Roobet of implementing this "KYC" at the moment. Even so, I believe it is for the good of roobet and for the benefit of their users.

I guess identity verification is now mandatory to all the Roobet.com users, I've the same story happened yesterday to me. I tried to bypass this weird things but failed badly. So, they push me hard to perform identity verification. Later, I got it filling up those random info not a big deal unless real ID verification. Point to be noted: my wager never crossed $100USD
