Nothing preventing it

I actually expected that there will be one player with several accounts but Im not really expecting someone will find them out pretty quickly. I guess they are not so bright after all huh. Kudos on finding the abusers ! Since this method is found out, I guess the next abuser will just send the matic from different unconnected wallet after this

This is why we cant have fun stuff, there will be alot of abusers on free money so its really hard to prevent it from happening

I have discovered that a player named Oxbayzx19 (0x752190CC0CAb22824448dFD7fB59F3dB89342966) is connected to at least 9 other players, having sent small amounts of MATIC to each of them - a requirement for placing winning free bets. Here are the players and their addresses:

I am not accusing anyone of farming multiple accounts for free bets, as it's possible these players legitimately requested MATIC from Oxbayzx19. However, I would like Oxbayzx19 to provide proof (such as dated message screenshots) showing these players contacted them for MATIC.

It's noteworthy that these accounts are from different platforms (most from Discord due to the $10 Discord POA incentive), making it unlikely they knew each other outside of poker tables. I've monitored the global chat in the PokerNow club and saw no discussions about MATIC transfers.

These accounts collectively won $145, approximately one-third of the total prize pool. This situation requires clarification.

Since none of these players are from BitcoinTalk, I request @AB de Royse777 to contact them for proof to ensure fair gameplay.

In my honest opinion, this represents a significant exploitation vulnerability - what prevents someone from creating 50 Discord accounts and 50 DGbet accounts? The current POA method lacks sufficient safeguards to ensure fairness.


   

It's a good question to be honest. In that case obviously I will have a discussion with the management and will try to figure our a new prize pool and reward system so that it continues benefiting both the players and the business.

Poker Night 7 update:


We already have 46 seats booked. I am still working on collecting the POA, it seems many members are not aware that POA is important for them to receive reward and they are improving their POA participation.

I have an annoying question (as usual 😄):
What if we have 100 players (with PoA)? Since everyone will get $5, what would be the point of playing?

We will start on Sunday @ 17:00. Don't miss the tourney. We already have 31 players booked who their seats.

Finally I was able to win something from DGbet freebets :-D



I can not remember if I had this experience before but it was nice to get the balance on chain. The redeem button works as withdrawal it seems.

As you can see, we are ready for Poker Night 7. Poker Night 6 reward already distributed.

I need to check how it is done, and this will be indeed a good thing to keep record of the members who did not join the table. I will appreciate support from everyone who joins too. If you see anyone who has not join the table then copy the username and post on this topic so that I can remove their POA.

It was a good experience to meet some of you who play good poker. Indeed last night was a very successful night in several ways.

We have 38 POA out of 57 seats. That's the highest number of POA we had so far.

Thanks for the input, in the next one I will make 10 minutes break for the first hour. The rest will remain the same.

Yesterday's games were much better for me on the table I started off from...no funny "all ins" from the get go even before community cards are shown , but trust me if you get to do that I will challenge and hope to get 2 birds with one stone as it's the only solution I have found as a counter measure unlike always Folding.

@Danydee men you were on fire on our table, should have taken you out when I had the Chance but you stole my thunder after those back to back wins which took you to over 40k and easily allowed you to controll the table, well played buddy.

Indeed it is. Congrats for successfully conducting the 6th Poker Night. It was a great tournament as always.
You were playing well, but honestly, I think you overplayed your last hand a bit (not a poker lesson though ). It feels so good to make consecutive final tables among such skilled players.

is there no change in hours or schedule?. because midnight here. I've used an alarm, but I still don't make me wake up to play the poker. I am actually interested, I often practice to play game poker on Android that I can win if I play the real money. but because I fall asleep, so it's already passed the tournament several time.

Sorry if I sound annoying (I do not have a choice here). It has nothing to do with your or my performance in the tournament, I mean who cares? If you think you are representing some sort of argument with your performance, you are not.
Though I am more than happy to take a lesson from you about 'how to play against abusers/colluders/cheaters,' I do not think this is the right time. This time you are responsible for creating a fair tournament, and I gave you a suggestion in that capacity (you can teach me poker some other time ). For me, fair play is essential and fundamental compared to any marketing gimmicks. I understand you cannot stop cheaters absolutely, but you are opening an easy way to do that (which can be closed right now).
 

I am working on it. I was doing some numbers and it's good that many people are doing POA. People started to understand that no POA, no reward. It's not always easy to control the cheaters, I can go hard but I also need to think about the interest of the sponsor too. You might notice in the first two events we did not have Antes. In the third one I added it. In the third one I noticed the game become longer so I changed the break time and the ratio of increasing the SB and BB. It's hard to prefect anything but I like to be close to perfect. It's my job.

Regarding all in and things, I think only in the last event I lost my mind and was out very early but if you saw me in the rest of the tourneys then I think everyone will agree that I did not do bad. In these type of no buy tournaments, you need to be patience and give time to mature the game. Abusers will try to suck your chips but you don't give them the chance. Again not a prefect solution but at least this worked for me. We will improve as we go, please have patience.

It was just to give an idea. There are no such 1.0 odd. Even if there are, who will place a bet where there are no return? Even with the cash balance, you get your stake returned and risk losing whole amount.

It's not the extra work, it's what the sponsor wants. DGbet is happy to give as many freebets as they can and they like to see numbers.

He is pointing out that some users are getting an unfair advantage in the game. So far only genuine players have won, but winning the game may be different depending on the betting that happens during the game. Stack sizes play a part in a users ability to see more flops, facilitate more bluffs, ability to make a hero call based on chips etc. I think it's a fair concern and you might try to come up with a way to combat the cheaters ( assuming there are any as I haven't played but 1 tourney and haven't paid attention).

The solution IMO is you personally need to verify a users info was posted before approving them to get in. Extra work but that's what you're paid to do right? Have them post on their socials, or wherever they are advertising besides here, a guide on how to be approved to play and get a prize.

Of course and that is how it usually works, but the terms that Royse provided suggest otherwise. Assuming there were odds of 1.0, he is saying that you can turn your free bet into cash. But that is not the case. Since I was wondering as I experienced otherwise. Maybe what he means is just that there is no minimum requirement as for the odds, but the bet amount will be deducted.
