Lol, this event is dead in the water... I knew it from the last time I played already, but memehunter you now gave it the rest. What a mess.

How is someone able to register 4 accounts within 4 second intervals? 

If anyone wants to believe these accounts belong to fair users, that is their choice, but I do not think so. There is rampant cheating going on. Earlier, I showed the wallet transactions and asked for proof. Now I am posting the tournament participation request time of many users; take a look below.
Since I care about poker as a sport so much, my conscience is not allowing me to participate in this tournament where the time and focus of so many genuine players are at risk.
I have decided to withdraw my participation.

Will there be a separate prize pool for winners today (apart from free bets for participation)? As I can see in the spreadsheet, almost 40 players are from Discord (number likely to increase) and a few from this forum and elsewhere. If there is no extra prize, then it's better to just distribute free bets without the need for an actual tournament taking place.
Have you done something to prevent cheaters (multiple account farmers)?

Poker is probably the least favourites among bitcointalker. For some reason, alot of folks around here still prefer slots. As for myself, I stopped playing because its pretty hard to play against freerollers. Nothing against you guys, I personally feel that its no longer poker because most of the folks in this tournament normally would always play whatever hands they had so its pretty hard to deal with. Kinda lost the essence of poker when you are playing against players with 95% VPIP

The traffic for the freerolls are pretty decent though and DGBet does get all those traffic that they want so esentially DGBet spent $500 free bets and get what they want.

Only the wallet connection is not a good source to make a conclusion. One of the person I know who sent me Matic also helped some other users (I requested him to help after receiving request from some members) that does not mean that person and other accounts including my address are alts. It's a good way to start. However I will need to give it to the DGbet management to check the findings with other parameters they have. Hopefully we will be able to kick out the abusers.

It seems there are not many members who are interested in Poker from Bitcointalk. It hurts me to accept but this is the reality I found out after the experience of becoming a host of a few Poker tournament. The original plan was to manage the campaign only for Bitcointalk members but later I had to move on from the plan and included other platforms in it.

If I were running dgbet.fun poker tournament, knowing that this kind of abuse is happening, I would stop it. Aside from the fact that the tournament is being abused, it's also unfair to those who only have one account and arent cheating.

This could be prevented if it were exclusively for Bitcointalk members and had a required rank or merit earned. For sure, no one would dare to cheat because they would definitely get a red trust rating.

I actually expected that there will be one player with several accounts but Im not really expecting someone will find them out pretty quickly. I guess they are not so bright after all huh. Kudos on finding the abusers ! Since this method is found out, I guess the next abuser will just send the matic from different unconnected wallet after this

This is why we cant have fun stuff, there will be alot of abusers on free money so its really hard to prevent it from happening

I have discovered that a player named Oxbayzx19 (0x752190CC0CAb22824448dFD7fB59F3dB89342966) is connected to at least 9 other players, having sent small amounts of MATIC to each of them - a requirement for placing winning free bets. Here are the players and their addresses:

I am not accusing anyone of farming multiple accounts for free bets, as it's possible these players legitimately requested MATIC from Oxbayzx19. However, I would like Oxbayzx19 to provide proof (such as dated message screenshots) showing these players contacted them for MATIC.

It's noteworthy that these accounts are from different platforms (most from Discord due to the $10 Discord POA incentive), making it unlikely they knew each other outside of poker tables. I've monitored the global chat in the PokerNow club and saw no discussions about MATIC transfers.

These accounts collectively won $145, approximately one-third of the total prize pool. This situation requires clarification.

Since none of these players are from BitcoinTalk, I request @AB de Royse777 to contact them for proof to ensure fair gameplay.

In my honest opinion, this represents a significant exploitation vulnerability - what prevents someone from creating 50 Discord accounts and 50 DGbet accounts? The current POA method lacks sufficient safeguards to ensure fairness.


   

It's a good question to be honest. In that case obviously I will have a discussion with the management and will try to figure our a new prize pool and reward system so that it continues benefiting both the players and the business.

Poker Night 7 update:


We already have 46 seats booked. I am still working on collecting the POA, it seems many members are not aware that POA is important for them to receive reward and they are improving their POA participation.

I have an annoying question (as usual 😄):
What if we have 100 players (with PoA)? Since everyone will get $5, what would be the point of playing?

We will start on Sunday @ 17:00. Don't miss the tourney. We already have 31 players booked who their seats.

Finally I was able to win something from DGbet freebets :-D



I can not remember if I had this experience before but it was nice to get the balance on chain. The redeem button works as withdrawal it seems.

As you can see, we are ready for Poker Night 7. Poker Night 6 reward already distributed.

I need to check how it is done, and this will be indeed a good thing to keep record of the members who did not join the table. I will appreciate support from everyone who joins too. If you see anyone who has not join the table then copy the username and post on this topic so that I can remove their POA.

It was a good experience to meet some of you who play good poker. Indeed last night was a very successful night in several ways.

We have 38 POA out of 57 seats. That's the highest number of POA we had so far.

Thanks for the input, in the next one I will make 10 minutes break for the first hour. The rest will remain the same.

 Idk, but I feel like we need more or longer breaks.. as there is no sit-out setting, 5 minutes in the end of an hour looks just like nothing  🤔🤔

Yesterday's games were much better for me on the table I started off from...no funny "all ins" from the get go even before community cards are shown , but trust me if you get to do that I will challenge and hope to get 2 birds with one stone as it's the only solution I have found as a counter measure unlike always Folding.

@Danydee men you were on fire on our table, should have taken you out when I had the Chance but you stole my thunder after those back to back wins which took you to over 40k and easily allowed you to controll the table, well played buddy.

Indeed it is. Congrats for successfully conducting the 6th Poker Night. It was a great tournament as always.
You were playing well, but honestly, I think you overplayed your last hand a bit (not a poker lesson though ). It feels so good to make consecutive final tables among such skilled players.
