thanks to Putin, there will be a new NATO air and ground base near the Ukrainian border.

As if anyone is asking Romania for permission

I think that Romania was very interested in having some "support". Can you guess why?

Because "look what happened to Fico"?

I think they would rather not go back to this. But you can create a party and try.
Quote
Upon achieving power, he eased press censorship and condemned the Warsaw Pact invasion of Czechoslovakia in his speech of 21 August 1968, which resulted in a surge in popularity. However, this period of stability was brief, as his government soon became totalitarian and came to be considered the most repressive in the Eastern Bloc. His secret police, the Securitate, was responsible for mass surveillance as well as severe repression and human rights abuses within the country, and controlled the media and press.

Why is it so difficult for Ruzzia to understand? They lost. It is very simple. The USSR was as big and as influential as Ruzzia ever got, and it failed - they collapsed completely.

The ex KGB that currently rules Ruzzia is a shadow of the power and leadership of the USSR, but they are failing to accept the faith of the loosers an that is why so many are dying for absolutely nothing: When you are no longer a power, you do not get to decide over others by force.

Do not die for Putin
Today for anyone planning to take a vacation in Oklavanka I have a word of warning. You cannot get in or out of the city, someone has been smoking in a large weapons depot and it blasted big time, so for now cancel the vacations.

It is becoming evident that the Ruzzia air defence has more holes than a swiss cheese. It is not even news now, but Belgorod has been hit overnight. The strikes inside Ruzzia are now everyday. It is clear that the Ukrainian strategy of making sure the price tag to keep this running becomes beyond anything reasonable, even for Putin, who does not care much about price tags (paid by others).

In Kharkiv direction, Ukraine has been able not just to hold but to drive the invading forces out - so yes, front is not stable in that sense if you want to call a few hundred meters here and there "movements".

In Ocheretina, again, if you want to call it a "movement" is up to you. You would be able to take Ukraine in a few years at that pace, the obvious problem is that you won't be able to finance it.

I think Ukraine is making sure that if it ever comes to negotiating, Ruzzia understand they have lots of infrastructure to lose on a daily basis. No pressure.

[...]

Sure.  Keep escalating and kiss pretty much all satellite communications goodbye for the foreseeable future.  Wanna guess who the main beneficiary of the military advantage ends up being when that happens?  My money is on the Rooskies, and it might be one of the few possible scenarios under which Russia actually does pose a military threat to some of the NATO dink states such as the one who thought it a good idea to blockade Kaliningrad.

This is not "escalation", this is pay-back. It feels very different when they can also blast YOUR installations and infrastructure uh? Punching is always easier that taking a hit in the nose?

On regards to beneficiaries, etc.. I have posted so much on that... I won't bother again on who is "winning" really.

On the threat to NATO, Europe has a problem: US is no longer a reliable ally due to who we all know and his declarations. Germany is certainly taking it very seriously (100 billion of military investment in 3 years and newer shell production facilities in the build). Romania is also taking it seriously - thanks to Putin, there will be a new NATO air and ground base near the Ukrainian border.

No, I am saying this on the light of the failed "operation" in Kharkiv that ended with the encirclement of between 60 to 200 StromZZtupids and the three ATACAMS that hit Sevastopol today and the attack (drones) in Rostov... which I have simply stopped counting because they are now every other day. but what tells most of the tale is the type of things you have to celebrate now.

The Black Sea fleet must be looking for a place to hide, but I think there is no such a thing any longer.

They encircled 60 out of 40 000 soldiers...that changes EVERYTHING!!!

I told you that Russia’s activity in the Kharkov direction is a distracting blow. Ukraine inadequately assessed the seriousness of the threat, pulled too many forces into Volchansk and Liptsy, weakening other sections of the front line. Ukraine has run out of free combat-ready reserves; it is forced to juggle brigades from calmer to more tense areas. By the way, General Sodol already lost his position yesterday.

I am not a mind reader, I am responding to your words about the stability of the front line. No, you are mistaken, the fronts are not quite stable.

What? After GLORIOUS success of encircling 60 soldiers, they replaced Sodol...how come?

For now, fronts quite stable, and that is at the cost of a huge material burn-out by Ruzzia, so it is not stable because "nobody is doing anything".
Lol, you say this right against the backdrop of a breakthrough of the static front line in the direction of Toretsk since 2014. Russia again caught the Ukrainian Armed Forces rotating brigades, just as during the breakthrough in Ocheretino. Moreover, the commander of the OGV, General Sodol, was drinking vodka at a restaurant in Odessa at that time. Grin

If this scandal flares up, and everything is heading that way, Ukraine will again have to change the entire General Staff, although I’m not sure that Zelensky has such a long bench.

you may need to listen to different people in a different drinking hole.

And clown myself every time I say anything like you do?  No thanks.

News: Ukraine has destroyed (presumably) the satellite tracking facility NIP-16. This is a high as costs for Ruzzia can get on a single strike. This is the "before", I will be publishing the "after" when confirmed.

No sign of the victorious Russian trolls, have they gone partying in the Suwałki Gap now that we're closing day 1000 of the 3 days operation?
...

'We' where so demoralized by NATO making it almost half way to the Surovikin Line in some areas during their 'greatest counter-offensive', and burning only 100k or so Ukriod slavs in the process, that we slunk away and are in hiding.  Just waiting for the inevitable fall Crimea and invasion of Moscow which should be right around the corner.  Just ask Zelinskii!

I heard that the Canuks went up to evaluate the defensive work on the Belarus line.  What they found was nothing had been done and ALL of the money had been stolen.  Tens of Billions with a 'B'!  No big surprise as the same thing happened pretty much everywhere else as well.  NATO has their work cut out for them to make up for lost time, and it looks like Russia is going to end up with at least half of the economic value of the former Ukraine.

NATO's (by way of the WEF installed heads of state in most of the 'Western' countries) obvious mission is to make Larry Fink's investments in the former pale of settlement pay off.  Probably by now the best they can do is to limit his losses.  At least they can burn a ton of the non-chosen souls in the process which is, apparently, one of their mitzvahs or some shit like that.  I've got my popcorn out to watch the reaction when it's no longer possible to explain away dead Westerners via the small plane accidents excuse which they are using for high ranking officers at the moment.

We are waking up today to 3 drone strikes in three oil storage facilities, all of them deep inside Ruzzia. Ukraine works again on the strategy of making sure the war is more costly to Ruzzia than any possible benefit they may get from it. In a way, this is another card that may be present at a negotiating table... I mean, some day, in the veery distant future.

This makes sure Putin understand that there is a lot to keep loosing for very tiny ground gains and Ukraine can and will strike millions worth of infrastructure every day.

They have probably decided to enlist and go to the front  Grin Grin - or they are trying cancel culture stuff, it does not matter - it never did.

News today talk about an uprising in dagestan, Southern Ruzzia. Some unconfirmed rumours point to an armed insurrection of shorts? Or maybe just a mass shooting? https://kyivindependent.com/media-counter-terrorism-operation-regime-institute-in-russias-dagestan-amid-deadly-attacks/. Empires always fall from the edges to the interior, but I am getting carried away.

Russia is on path of losing more tanks in Ukraine than the US in ww2 but I assume everything is fine, now they have NK as an ally, and SK as an enemy, another master gambler loser move.

Latest news confirm the continued support from several European countries. It is not as bright and shiny as the US signing 60 billion on  single bill, but little by little several additional air defence systems are being transferred, to a total of 7 patriot batteries now active. My guess is that there are several reasons why the f16 are not yet in Ukraine, but one important is being able to protect these.

Meanwhile Trump again buys the full Kremlin narrative about Ukraine being "part of Ruzzia" or not "independent", etc... I wonder what kind of "negotiator" would start by fully echoing the arguments of the guy in front? This guy should not be running even a local Starbucks.

Next week the EU is passing 2 Billion from the revenue produced by Ruzzian assets, currently frozen, to Ukraine. I guess this is true brotherhood and solidarity from Ruzzia, paying Ukraine to defend itself from the enemy... that is Ruzzia.

I stand with Ukraine.
~

Thanks for your loose and disconnected comment. It helps everyone understand that you have nothing to add to this conversation but somehow your brain feels compelled to say something like this. ~

I don't understand your hostility. I'm on your side, mate. Being a gambler I said, from my own experience, that Putin's strategy of martingale is a desperate strategy and he will lose everything soon. What's wrong with that? (If you think that I posted that to spam for my sig campaign, you can check the rules for my campaign and see that posts in "Politics & Society" are not counted).

I think people who are standing against Putin's aggression should be more supportive to each other.

Sorry, I misread you. You did not post spam. My apologies, my comment was not adequate. I think was actually trying to answer to some other user  Huh, there are sometime comments that come from people not read the thread (I mean, it is impossible, but at least some comments).

You are right, a martingale from Putin ends with zero. doubling the bet requires to have a bigger wallet than your opponents and that is not the case. Ukraine and allies simply have a bigger wallet. Some people would argue that Putin has a large nuclear arsenal, but I frankly think that if you have 200 nukes you do not need any more, the world is so destroyed by then that there is no "winner".

Yeah, mate. I kinda knew you were aware of that people like us who want to stand against barbarism and darkness should stick together. I'm glad I wasn't mistaken.

Kim-Yong is not used to receive visits, to the point that he and Putin go about telling the other into the car first 3 times and when the Ruzzian ministers are told to sit on the negotiating table, they are sent away a minute after  Grin Grin what a show! But as said, when you have no guests for several decades, you kind of forget about protocol.

Get in... now get out... this is the North Korean way

Not to mention the German made car, looking more like a Hem-party limo, where Putin, Kimmy and the thankfully thin interpreter are taking a walk in a street full of Putin's faces, but also empty of People.

But anyway, the deal is clear. Kimmy sell big shell stuff... Putin will give Kimmy the jewels Ruzzi nuclear and missile programme. You do not need an interpreter... nor a meeting to be honest.

There are rumours of a contingent of Ruzzian soldiers, anything between 60 and 400, that seem to be trapped in the Kharkiv direction. This is the legacy of a plan that was such a poor idea by Putin that nobody could believe that they were actually trying it for real. Yet there it is, an stalled offensive, lots of killed and quite a bit of material destroyed all around Belgorod and now permission from US to strike inside Ruzzia as a bonus.

Some advice for Trump:

https://www.youtube.com/shorts/mAbEsNufg4w?feature=share

Yes, they are under blockade, now the Ukrainian Armed Forces are deciding how to destroy them

https://www.youtube.com/shorts/7xSXg4ea0Tc?feature=share

The Ukrainian drones are working hard every day - this is costing a fortune, even a large country like Ruzzia can feel the effects of having the fuel blown up over and over in any facility that sits 1500 km from Ukraine. It is time to think if the "peace plan" of getting all Putin wants (even the bits he has not yet occupied) and giving nothing should be revisited. Who I am kidding... it will not.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GHzeTeVxRU8

Edit: It is official, the Rostov re-fueling terminal is burning. No more re-fueling for ships in the area until repaired.

Good news!
I hope they will be even better.
