i am not looking to make a huge profit, just modest gains and minimal chance of loss. Any altcoins?
Altcoins price are not as much as high then that of bitcoin's price but still they are quite profitable to use. Altcoins investment are also an profitable deal. Many people also get their profits from this. Altcoin like Ethereum is mainly famous for investment purposes. Ethereum price is also higher then that of other altcoins and it is the most stable currency among all other cryptocurrency and because of this many investors or companies use it for long-term investment purposes.

There is no such thing as safe altcoins to invest in, none of the coins in the cryptocurrency industry are safe and no matter the coin that you are putting your money in there is always risk coming with the decision. That said if you are investing in altcoins then your best bet would be to invest in the top five coin. Coins like ethereum and monero are always good choices.

I think you have noticed one thing that the valuation of bitcoin and other crypto currencies goes in a opposite direction and if not hen I must tell you that the valuation of bitcoin and other crypto currencies flactuates in the opposite direction as in the last December’s month when the valuation of bitcoin was sky high then the valuation of other crypto currencies were very low and now when the valuation of bitcoin is very low, the valuation of other crypto currencies are rising so the safest coin to invest this time is etherum.

I think if viewed in the long term it NEO. Open the chart and make sure, and if you look at the road map and read the white paper, your confidence will be fixed.

Any investment in cryptocurrency is risky. The safest is to invest in Bitcoin. But if you want to invest in altcoins, I would recommend you Ethereum first of all, because it's price is low now and it's a strong coin, so you can be more confident while investing in it.

Since you are looking for a relatively safe investment, why not choose BTC directly, I don't think there are any coins that are safer than BTC. Why are you using Altcoin? Do you think this can bring you more profit? But in fact, I don't think so. Since you want to be safe, it must be coins that are less variable, that is, coins that make it less likely that you will double your investment. In this case, bitcoin is your best choice.

Why do you need Altcoins? Bitcoin is the best. Although there are still coins that hold best such as riple or stellar. You can invest more large-scale projects like neo or eos and tron and so on. The price of these coins is rather small and even an ordinary investor can enter them and get profit from them in the future. Who knows, maybe they will give more than ethereum sometime in due time.

In that case, I will recommend you Dogecoin. It is old well developed and it is not dropping too much and not gaining too much as well. For me it still perfect coin to trade for 10% profit without huge risk.

There are no safe investments in crypto, there are the least risky ones, but how to evaluate such risks correctly? I think the most "safe" investment will be Bitcoin, in the second place I will put on etherium , but how long it will take to restore it is unknown. Therefore, only bitcoin it is strong, stable and "honest", if you understand what I mean.

I couldn't agree more, allthough market cap doesnt necessarily mean safety. There's plenty of smaller cap coins that are so well established and have such a good community and roadmap that i think they're very safe AND have more potential

Very safe? Nothing is safe in crypto. The smaller cap coins are also affected by big brother BTC. If BTC goes down 30%, expect it to go down lower. What's more, low caps have zero liquidity so effectively you can't dump your coins since zero buyers.

You want safe? Open a time deposit in a bank. But we are here in crypto, we all should assume the risk.

i'm not talking safe in price, i'm talking safe in endurance. Lots of smaller cap projects have very nice and longterm partnerships and more than enough capital to stay in business for multiple years without a single penny of new income. Also, safety isnt guaranteed with a bank either, my country provides insurance for up to 100.000€ guaranteed, but what if the value of those euros goes down x100?

I think the best way to get into Altcoins is bounty hunting as we might get some potential tokens in the future but if you are referring to coins that are already on the market then try to look for coins listed as top 15 or even 20 for safety. My previous investments are poured into Dash, Litecoin, Ethereum, SXDT and IOSToken. I actually  earn pretty good profits from those coins I've mentioned before the market turns red.

All alcoins from the top 50 are safe to invest. In the case of an unstable crypto market, all altcoins require attention. This attention consists in attentive and active daily trading of altcoins chosen for investment.

To be quite honest, and if I have to give my two cents on this, I don't think that there is really anything like safest coins out there. I think that choosing to invest in any of the coins out there, comes with a certain level of risk. The cryptocurrency industry is one risky thing, well so is life itself, but we live anyway.

Why so long to suffer and choose which ones alone, remember or open the charts of the first top 20 tokens or coins and you will see that these coins were popular, and if they were previously popular, then I think that now too it will be the same.

My Top 2 are GoByte and Ethereum. I think that is a future.
Ethereum is top platform for ICO.
GoByte is altcoin with masternode with quick return of investments and relatively not expensive cost of masternode. To have a masternode you have to buy (1000GBX) with a cost of $ 900, the return of investments period is 1 year.
