According to my personal assumption, this season Al Nasr still has hope of winning the Saudi Arabian domestic league. However, the current problem is that Al Nasr cannot maintain maximum consistency in every match he plays. A big example, a few days ago Al Nasr was made to submit to a club like Al Raed. So to be honest, if you look at Al Nasr's current condition, I have very little doubt that Al Nasr can win the Saudi Arabian domestic league this season.

Because of the factors that make it a little difficult for Al Nasr to penetrate the top ranking in the Saudi Arabian League. Apart from that, there are several other factors that make it difficult for Al Nasr to reach the top of the SPL. And these factors are

• As we know, currently Al Nasr is very far behind Al Hilal. Whether it's in terms of points or in terms of wins. Because if you look at the difference in terms of points, Al Nasr has a 12 point difference with Al Hilal and this will of course be very difficult for Al Nasr to catch up with.
• Then the second factor, currently there are only 7 matches remaining for Al Nasr in the SPL. So it will definitely be very difficult for Al Nasr to unseat Al Hilal even though in every match Al Nasr continues to win. Because if Al Nasr can win the remaining matches, it is certain that Al Hilal will definitely be the same.
• Then the third factor, in the remaining matches this season, Al Nasr will also face Al Hilal again. So this match will definitely be very difficult for Al Nasr. Because in the last meeting Al Nasr lost to Al Hilal.

So if you look at these factors, in my personal opinion the possibility that Al Nasr will win the Saudi Arabian domestic league (SPL), is very small.

You accurately contrasted Al-Nassr and Al-Hilal's defense. Even with great offense, a club can only go so far without a solid defense. With all its attacking talent, Al-Nassr still loses matches owing to this gap. Al-Hilal's excellent defense and efficient goal-scoring distinguih them.

I feel Al-Nassr must rebuild its defense to fight for the title next season. They need good defenders and defensive cooperation. Its not only about individual talent but how well the unit repels attacks. Once they correct this, they should be able to challenge Al-Hilal for the league crown.

This is no longer an open secret and most people already know about the current problems. Benzema was repeatedly exposed to pressure from Al-Ittihad fans and honestly that was not a good thing for a great player like Benzema. But on the other hand, we also cannot defend Benzema, who is experiencing a decline in performance and he seems more courageous in facing existing problems. In fact, even if he is criticized, it is natural and he just needs to stand up to prove it.

Coach Marcelo Gallardo should also be more familiar with Benzema considering that Al-Ittihad spent a lot of money to recruit Benzema. I think we are too far away to talk about the final and meet Al Hillal because so far I see maybe one of the Arab teams will be eliminated by an Asian team like Yokohama or Ulsan Hd who are playing quite impressive in the Asian Champions League at the moment, I personally might be a little doubtful if Al Nassr and Al Hillal will be able to meet arab other team in the final , because possible against other teams who are also very consistent and have a performance Good until now, especially the team from Japan and Korean.

al nassr just lost their opportunity to win the trophy because there is team that is just better and consistent as you said, even though we all know how goated ronaldo is but we all know he is not in his prime.
arguably al hilal has expected to win the trophy the team simply made up of good players if neymar consistently presence it will definitely break the league stomping any team out there.

Yes, it is true that the biggest problem and the difference between Al Hilal and Al Nassr is only in the strength of the two clubs, like Al Hilal which is very solid, almost all the players have chemistry with each other, while Al Nassr is still in a very strong state in the attack line but the defense line is not. strong enough to withstand attacks in every match so it is natural that now we will always see Al Hilal always superior and guaranteed to lift the trophy because Al Hilal has quite perfect players compared to other clubs even though Al Nassr has Ronaldo and Sadio Mane but that's only regarding the attack line and Al Nassr still needs a lot of quality players to add to the defense line.

If there are no changes to the defense it looks like next season will just end the same as this season.

Al Nassr no longer has any hope of being able to catch Al Hilal in the title competition, they can be said to have lost their chance this season because their arch rival Al Hilal plays more consistently than themselves. In the first half Al Fateh was unable to score and when entering the second half Al Khaleej actually got 1 additional score so the position became 0-2 for Al Khaleej.

Its wrong argument with Al Nassr's players not motivate for playing the domestic league matches although with their possibilities for winning domestic almost close. Al Nassr need to win for all matches left to secure their 2nd standings position and get qualify to AFC Champion League next season, how bad happening if loss on all matches left and their standings drop from the AFC Champion League spot place? Actually difficult to catch up Al Hilal current points behind 12 points left, but SPL left 11 matches and there are have many points can take by Al Nassr exactly both team will face each other on matchday 32.
There are not impossible for Al Nassr if can consistent their performance on matches left and wish the other SPL team can stop the three points from Al Hilal.

It's pretty obvious that Ronaldo had a good season despite not winning a trophy, but he can still win the Saudi Pro League's top scorer award. His club played so poorly against Al Hilal that I assumed Hilal would win everything. It starts with the SPL and the AFC Champions League. Ronaldo's personality is rather temperamental, and he disliked this moment so much when his club will not be able to get a single trophy this season. He will despise it if he finishes the season without a trophy, as that would be his lowest achievement this season with al nassr.

Adding Neymar to the club basically gives Al Hilal more problems because we all know how bad Neymar's behavior is. I strongly disagree with al Hilal's decision to spend a lot of money to recruit him from PSG. Al Hilal is enough to win everything with Mitrovic and Savic, who were key players from Lazio and Fulham.
They improved a lot after joining the Saudi Pro League. Al nassr needs to buy several defenders players next season to ensure they will have satisfied performance compared to the current season.

I think we can say that Al Nassr has buried their dream to win the trophy of Saudi League this season. They seem have no more motivation to play in SPL matches because it is impossible to catch Al Hilal in the top of the standings. Without Talisca, Ronaldo and Mane can't contribute a lot in the match. Ronaldo and Mane failed scoring a single goal until the match ended. I see their a decrease in the performance of Al Nassr players as the whole. Now, I think we can stop to talk about the chance for Al Nassr winning the trophy.

Yep, the only hope to win the trophy is in AFC champion league. Unfortunately, it won't be easy because Al Nassr is 1 goal behind in the aggregate. But I'm sure there is still a chance for Al Nassr to continue until the final round. I just expect that Al Nassr won't meet Al Hilal before the final round. If it happens, Al Nassr may be eliminated by Al Hilal in semi-final.

Sometimes in the bad performance a player needs a reason to cover it but we must not forget that the fact is Benzema is an old player and cannot be compared with Ronaldo even though both are old players but have different abilities, the team must have realized that there is a risk of injury when recruiting old players and we also know that they have other reasons when bringing old players one of them is to promote the Saudi Pro League to the outside world, so don't be surprised if the club owner will retain players like Benzema at the club.

Benzema may still stay in the Saudi Pro League for the next 1-2 seasons his presence is still needed even though he is not a mainstay player but as an attraction from outside Saudi Arabia we know Benzema has fans, so this is what the Saudi pro League needs and align with their plans for promotion.

Since Benzema joined Al Ittihad, he couldn't really have a good relationship with the fans and they are angry to see his performance because Benzema was mostly injured or was not in the good form and this made Al Ittihad fans to even think about being against Benzema.
Also, the poor performance of Al Ittihad made their coach Marcelo Gallardo to think about stopping working with this French player but recently in the conference after the last game, Marcelo Gallardo said he doesn't have any problem with Marcelo Gallardo and they had a normal relationship.

The issues of a weak defense is one that can actually be frustrating because even if a team is so good that they get to score a good number of goals to keep them ahead, they still end up struggling because for every of their goals their weak defense will creat an opportunity for their opponent to be able to penetrate and get an equalizer except they have got a very brilliant goal keeper who can cover up for such mess.

Al Nassr is suffering such and until they are able to resolve it,  they will still continue to suffer defeat or probably have to end most of their games Ina draw, the y have got a good squad and that isn't in doubt, but they have to really see how well to work on their defense and then they will have a complete formidable team that can be able to contend any team in the Saudi league and be able to win the Saudi league title by the end of the season, such is very much achievable with Al Nassr I'd only they have got to fix the defensive lapsis  which they have got.

Al-hila is actually solid based on the fact that their defense is very solid so if they are able to get a goal or two in a game, they are able to make sure they hold on to the goal till the end of the game without conceding so much that their opponent gets to equalize just like it is with Al Nassr but then if it's by the attack and front line, I think Al Nassr is much better as they easily get goals but are only challenged with keeping it.

I'm forced by my knowledge to agree with you 100% that the difference between Al Nassr and Al Hilal since the start of the season is the defense line of both teams and I'll make my own like public. Al Nassr without doubt have one of the best attacking lines in the Saudi Arabian league this season but because they have a defence that's always conceding goals, that's why they're currently
 trailing league leaders Al Hilal by 8 points in the Saudi Pro League table.
Cristiano Ronaldo who is the main striker of Al Nassr have been scoring many goals this season as well as his other teammates like Talisca and Sadio Mane but the club's defense must be improved so they can be able to win games against big opponents like Al Hilal Al Ittihad and other teams in the league. The Saudi Pro League title I think is definitely going to be lifted by the current league leaders but Al Nassr management i think still have work to do in other to improve their teams defense. Summer is almost here and I expect the club to sign strong defenders that'll help the club win the league title next season

Al Hilal are greater than Al Nassr in all round competition. We have watch the top competition between both elite SPL teams and the weaker one dropped points while the best comes on to claim significant title. Sometimes, I wonder and points out why will Al Nassr lost three points to average opponents, it makes no meaning but send a direct message to Al Hilal to have more confidence on winning the SPL title race. Wait a minute, where do we figure out the inconsiderate rating from Al Nassr, Is it Cristiano Ronaldo fault about his team not standing in position to win matches?

But that wasn't really the point I was trying to make. I think the biggest difference is the defensive performance. It doesn't matter whether Al-Nassr scores two goals or five goals in a game because they eventually lose their games due to their weaker defense. Al-Hilal is extremely solid and they win their games even when they score only one or two goals. It's the defense that wins the titles. You can see that in several leagues that the top teams really dominate due to their strong defensive performances. Of course goals must be scored, but it's quite clear that Al-Nassr didn't lose their games because they didn't score enough, but because they are conceding too many goals.

Even weirder is that there were 3 goals that were offside, and 1 penalty save before the first goal was scored which was an own goal. You do not see most of those in most games let alone see it all in a single game. Definitely was a weird game and it did felt like it wasn't something we get to see that quite often.

I believe that the best thing to do in this case would be just making sure that we are dealing with betting tampering as well. I am not saying that has to be it, but it did felt like ref was in on it at times. In the end the team that deserved it won to be fair and I agree that it was a game that was a little different and felt like it wasn't a normal match but in the end Al Hilal got the win eventually.

Al Naasr current hopes will probably only be the same as last season, which leaves them ranked 2nd, the same as last season. They are sure to get back to winning ways after this bad result just gotten. Because the bad results that have just been experienced are actually quite worrying for everyone who is an Al-Nassr fan. because they don't play like usual. You could see a decline in the performance of the team which is a thing for worry especially after the team has spent quite a lot during transfer windows and yet they are not able to win the league. Rather they finish up second which isn’t what the owners want and what’s pleasing to the fans.

With the way they played in this disappointing result, you could see how poorly they perform and all rely on Talisca which is a big arrow pointing tha the coach might not be fit for the job. I also appreciate that the board are already considering letting him go because that obviously could be a better way out.They need a very experienced coach with winning mentality probably frim Europe who’ll be able to groom this team till they get the trophy. There was a fairly clear decline in performance that occurred at Al-Nassr and I agree that it would take a miracle for Al-Nassr to be able to seize the top position from Al-Hilal.

 I think so, because Al-hilal currently looks even better. And I don't see any signs that they will experience a decline in performance at this time. So now we just have to admit that Al-hilal will win the title this season.Castro should be let out of the club and a better coach gotten as this is going to be a boost for the club at this stage and time. Al-Hilal performance this season is very fantastic and with the current point gap, i already see them as the league winners.
