It seems that Al-Hilal this season will really be a team to be afraid of in the Saudi Pro League. Because until now only Al-Hilal has not suffered defeat since the beginning of the season. And what surprised me was that Al-Hilal was able to beat Al-ittihad in the match 2 days ago. Benzema cs must submit to and accept their defeat. Even though both of them play very well. So I personally think a draw is more appropriate in this match. But it is still the final result that determines which team is superior. K. Koulibaly cs seems to be having a good day with AL-hilal.

Meanwhile, Al-Nassr is still struggling to cover their deficit due to 2 consecutive defeats in the first match. For now I am a fan of Al-Nassr. But honestly, I still see many gaps in some of the line-ups at Al-Nassr. As for Al-ittihad and Al-Hilal, I think they are getting more mature this season.
I prefer to say that Al-Hilal have rediscovered the strength they lost last season. And actually Al-Hilal's superiority in the SPL is nothing strange. Because Al-Hilal is the club that has won the most titles in the SPL. Even Al-Hilal has won in 3 consecutive seasons. So I wouldn't be surprised if this season they will also be strong candidates to win the title.

Al-Nassr is indeed an interesting team and currently many people have suddenly become Al-Nassr fans because CR7 is in it. I personally idolize CR7 so I am on Al-Nassr's side. But we must realize that CR7 is now 38 years old. So I always admire this player because he still has strong stamina at his age. In fact, he often played 90 minutes at Al-Nassr. If he's not as good as he used to be then that's normal. Even he can still play like now is already an extraordinary thing. Even CR7 I think has brought change and increased the popularity of the Arab League today. I think his name will go down in history not only in Europe but also in the Arab League.

@BRINIRHA Al-Nassr can’t rely on Ronaldo to win every match and other stars too need to step up and help the team win matches. Lastly what are you’ll thoughts will Salah make a move on the last day because if the new rumour is true then Liverpool can’t turn down such a huge amount and while it may derail their current season but it’ll help them improve their finances for the long run.

Saudi is just trying to change that bad image owned by its football league.

Money has the power to bring about change. Saudi Arabia is currently ranked only 54th in FIFA. It is indeed no better than Mali. The media did report that this was an Arab move to improve the bad image of their case.  There have been cases like the murder of Washington Post columnist Jamal Khashoggi in 2018 at the hands of Saudi agents, and the devastating war that began in Yemen in 2015, and you're probably right they have a target of hosting the 2030 world cup.

I rarely see saudi player got big name. This is also the main reason saudi was prefer in buying the western player instead of developing their own players. We shall also go back to the main aim by saudi club to host 2030 world cup.
This is the only way to increase people's awareness to the saudi pro league. I remember when people considered the Saudi Pro League as a low-level league compared to other leagues like the Chinese League or even MLS..

Saudi Arabia know if football is the most popular sport and they want to popularize or make more money through football. Obviously they have spend a lot money for buying many European players, but in the long term, they have a chance to make money.

I'm not really sure with the other sports, but if Saudi Arabia is successfully popularize their country through signing European players in football, I believe they will do same to the other sports.

There are 2 ways to build a great club the first as you said through the academy prepares young talent the 2nd way is to use the power of money Real Madrid is an example of success in using money,
The Saudi League decided to use the power of money to build their teams because they also need popularity, which they could get by signing top players, which is what’s currently happening.
Saudi doesn't have a strong basis in the football. Using its money to build the league has become the only way for the country to reach a higher level for its football. I have been also putting this as the main concern in this past which will be also kicking the local players from the club but there's no way to push it eevn higher other than use money as the main resources to make it happen.

Building their own players won’t really bring popularity to the league within the short period of time that they needed it, but as we all can see, since they signed Ronaldo, people started following the league, and the big signings that they made this season boosted their popularity, and even people that didn’t know much about the league before are beginning to follow the league due to the players that they signed. The money spent is not a waste because they are already achieving their aims. I can’t just imagine how Saudi league is going to be in the next few years to come.

Firstly, these are utopian plans, and secondly, they are too long-term - for the academies to give some kind of result, it will probably take about 10 years. The population of Saudi Arabia is 34 million people, the third of which are labor migrants, it is obvious that if the Saudis want to strive for the level of the top leagues, they must focus on external sources of players.
But indeed if Saudi Arabia wants to have a better generation of football at this time the right moment, where on their land there are many star players who compete every week, this will be an attraction for the younger generation who begin to develop, of course the making of the academy will accommodate The interest of today's generation football is echoing in Arab land, even though the population is not so much.

The problem of time will definitely take quite a long time in the development of this academy, so for now it is still very much needed by outside players to increase their league popularity.

It might work this way. For example, the young generation of Indian chess players that we are seeing now is the result of Anand's success fifteen years ago. But there are nuances: India is a very poor country with a huge population, and Saudi Arabia, in addition to having a small population, also has a high standard of living, so the success of football players (which, for example, in Brazil are equal to getting out of poverty) will not mean much to the Saudis.

Yannick Carrasco has arrived in Saudi Arabia and will soon be introduced as a new Al-Shabab player. It seems that the negotiations between Al-Shabab and Atletico Madrid are going quite smoothly and this is the first European signing for Al-Shabab this season. In the near future Yannick Carrasco will also undergo a medical test before the official announcement and his contract will last 3 years. The costs incurred by Al-Shabab were also not too expensive, around 15 million euros for Atletico Madrid. After previously having an adventure in the Chinese league, now a new adventure awaits Yannick Carrasco in the Saudi league which has become a trend for other European players.

At age 30 I expect him to be playing in one of the top leagues in Europe, he's a very fine player and it was sad to see him move over to Chinese league last season because of money, but atleast he's made a good decision this season by coming out of the deadleague to a better one where we'll be heard on in the news and I believe that with the experience he's got while playing for Athletico Madrid it won't be difficult blending into the Saudi side.
Yannick Carrasco would make a fine upgrade to his new team and I think he might not be the only player that would join Al-Shabab if you noticed they suffered a great lose against Al-Nassr so they'll definitely need more upgrade to strengthen them and that's what's trending in all Saudi clubs currently and since their transfer window is still open till month end they've got lots of time to lure more players into their team.
Apart from that, Yannick Carrasco will be on the same team as Ever Banega, who has previously joined Al-Shabab since 2020. We know that the figure of Ever Banega is certainly familiar to our ears because he played for Inter and also Sevilla in European competitions. Another long-standing achievement is bringing Argentina to win the Olympic medal in 2008 with Lionel Messi.

I don't think Al-Shabab will be satisfied with just signing Yannick Carrasco and as you said the possibility of other signings for Al-Shabab will still be open as long as the summer transfer market has not closed for the saudi league. If you look at the previous defeat against Al-Nassr, it means that this time Al-Shabab must get a strong defender or a good goalkeeper to prevent this from happening again.

Several clubs in the Saudi League are now much stronger than other clubs, two notable clubs being Al-Nassr and Al Hilal. We have no doubts about these two clubs in terms of strength. Al-Nassr, Al Hilal are undoubtedly two very strong clubs but although Al Hilal has started well this season, Al-Nassr has yet to start well. Al Hilal is currently at the number one position in the points table but Al-Nassr is still at the number six position in the points table which means there are five teams above Al-Nassr so far. We always expect good performances from Al-Nassr as the team has world class stars who have conquered Europe once so it is natural that the expectations will be high from them.
this is all because there are European star players in the line up between the two teams and actually it is unfair to say that the two teams are very strong just because there are European star players but we must not forget Al Ittihad, Al Ahli and several other big teams that exist. in this SPL, even though they do not have star European players, they are able to perform consistently and can win in several matches until the last match they managed to appear strong to maintain points in the SPL standings and we should not be too ambitious in saying a team can be strong or be better. Its big because there are European players, but I would rather admit that the team is perfect when it competes consistently without European players and uses real players from Saudi Arabia.

What about Al Ahli? They have good players like Roger Ibañez, Édouard Mendy and Franck Kessié. And don't forget Al-Ittihad. Once Karim Benzema starts playing for them regularly, they are going to be a tough side for other clubs to handle. These two sides may not have big names as they do in Al Hilal and Al Nassr, but I am sure that both of them have a good chance of finishing at the top of this season's Saudi Professional League. BTW, despite the presence of so many superstars, both Al-Nassr and Al-Hilal couldn't finish at the top last year.

Big clubs requires excellent performance from the players and the master planner, Jorge Fernando Pinheiro de Jesus has been doing a terrific job for Al Hilal in terms of making them strong competitors in league games. Al Hilal is among the best club in the Saudi Pro League. They keep fighting and winning games because of the players' and coach's persistence. The Al-Za'eem must maintain this grade level if they want to keep their place top on the table. On the contrary conjunction, I anticipate difficult competition in the near future; the important question is, will Al Hilal remain competitive for the SPL title?

Obviously the top teams are getting better without a doubt. However, to be fair to them the level they reached is not the part that should be considered good, it's the growth that they had which is the success. Right now they are not even a top 10 league in my book, and yet they are acted as if top 5-6 right now with all the media attention they are getting.

For example, I would prefer Belgium league more than this, I bet they are better but for some reason they are not considered as good as Saudi league by the fans, all because of the names. Just names do not get you wins, you need those names to play well too, we will see if they will actually do fine. I think it is to start thinking about a serious club world cup type of thing by Uefa, UCL is great but we need a global one.

The league in Saudi Arabia is still not very developed. The Saudi national football team is also quite weak. Even the Saudi League has come into the discussion after taking the world's best star player like Ronald to the league.

But the Saudi League is changing itself quite quickly. You won't find any similarities between the current league and the Saudi league of two years ago. They have added big star players like Benzema, Sadio Mane, Neymar and Ronaldo to their league. They are spending a lot of money. And its size is incredibly large. But they are starting to reap the benefits. The overall performance of the teams has improved. I watched the Ittihad vs Al Hilal match that day. Both teams have performed well. After trailing 3-1 at the end of the first half, Al Hilal won the match 4-3. Undoubtedly, the Saudi League is improving. And I think Saudi League will be among the top 6/7 leagues very soon.

another game was the Al Nassr game that beat Al Hazm, well in this game I saw Al Nassr as the favorite to win the game, but I didn't expect them to score 5 goals in this game, it was a game in which Al Nassr crushed his opponent and with that they managed to climb a few places in the table and are in position 6, but it will be very difficult for them to become champions this season too, because unlike last season, this season they have strong opponents who kept hiring. many foreign players

In the Al Nassr match against Al Hazm it is proof that Ronaldo and his friends have become a solid part and can endanger any team that will be their opponent. Even when we look at this match there is a collaboration between Al Nassr players who are very good when playing attacks and all their efforts were not in vain because they bore sweet fruit with the 5 goals they scored.
There is still a possibility for Al Nassr to become champions this season even though the other teams are getting stronger with the recruitment of top players and Luis Castro is also quite confident that with a good team balance Al Nassr can become the strongest and difficult to beat.
Now we just have to wait for each Al Nassr match and watch as other teams are overwhelmed by Ronaldo and friends.

By the way Ronaldo in the Saudi League this season got 6 goals and 4 assists in just 4 matches.

And I don't know whether everyone will agree with my following statement, namely that I feel the level of play in the Saudi Pro League is very close to the level of play in other European leagues. And I think next season the Saudi Pro League will be really similar to the European League in its excitement.

The four clubs that are under the majority ownership of the Saudi Public Investment Fund do have quality players and whenever they play amongst themselves the quality of play is quite high. But the problem is that out of the 18 teams participating in the Saudi Professional League this season, only 4 of them are supported by the SPIF (Al-Hilal, Al-Ittihad, Al-Ahli and Al-Nassr). Some of the clubs that are not supported by the SPIF (such as Al-Ettifaq) have performed well in recent times, but in general there is a wide gap between the 4 clubs and the other 14.

So far in their league they're the teams with the best signings in the transfer window, the got the right players and are benefiting from it that's why it's very good for team to bluster different sections of their team in the transfer window to prepare for a tournament ahead and not just signing anyhow but the rightful players into their team.
In the match against Al-ittihad I was so suprise with their comeback, they were losing 3-1  in the first half but managed to have a very good comeback in the second half to end the game with a 3-4 victory thanks to their new signing Mitrovic he had a hat-trick in the match, the Ballon D'or title holder scored a goal for his team but couldn't lead them to victory.
Al-Nassr are in a position where they're not expected to be due to the 2 loses they had and alot of people who are Cristiano Ronaldo's fan would be so disappointed because they're not in the top 4, but the league is still fresh and they have to do all they can to cover up for the points they've lost and meet up with their arch Rivals.
Well that's right the season has just started. And there are still a lot of games left. So I personally still remain optimistic that Al-Nassr will slowly rise to the top 4 and then compete with Al-Ittihad and Al-Hilal. And I don't want to belittle Al-Ettifaq either in this regard. Because when I see Al-Ettifaq playing, I always see this club as more and more like Liverpool. Because there are two former Liverpool captains in this club.

So we keep seeing more and more top players flowing into this league, well right now i want to see the next world cup of teams to see how good games we can see between europeans teams and the asian/arabs one. Its gonna be really interesting.
You just need to wait until the fifa club world cup will begin. It will give you a chance to see the match between saudi club to face the winner of european champion league. That competition is the possible competition to make it happen.
I have heard that if SPL is trying to talk with EUFA regarding the possibility for its club to be included in the champion league but i do believe 90% if this is unlikely to happen consider saudi pro league was in asian continent.
The saudi pro league becomes even bigger with so many great players are coming to the league right now. I hope that someday i will able to see strong club from SPL to face winner of UCL.

About Yannick Carrasco..... again this man going into wild places.

It surprises me how atletico madrid's winger was interesting to be a part of al shabab instead of try to go to the another european team.
The more european players will come to the league before the deadline of transfer season which's gonna end this week.
