Attracting those players into the league would help build the league and also attract people's interest in it as well, because if you notice alot of fans supporting those top European players for instance Cristiano Ronaldo and Benzema fans are now following up with the Saudi league and even betting on their matches unlike the previous times when fewer peope had interest in it.
Well football is not just only a form of entertainment but a business as well, and since these rich Saudi's could not wait over a long time to develop their country players into world class plyers they decided to use the influence of their finance to make it happen and i believe it would pay off because those local players would be motivated by the top players introduced into the league and also learn from them, if you notice the country side players are now performing better courtesy to the influence of the European players.
The Saudi Arabian league is increasingly interesting to watch because several teams are starting to play better after successfully recruiting top European players. Like al nassr, their game is no longer boring because several top players have joined their team, giving birth to a more beautiful game in every game they play. Yes football is a business and they do it to get a lot of profit from every match they play.

As reported, 140 countries have purchased the broadcast rights for SPL matches. I think they will continue to make more promising changes for their future development and compete to be in the top top level as the best league in the Asian continent.

There are 2 ways to build a great club the first as you said through the academy prepares young talent the 2nd way is to use the power of money Real Madrid is an example of success in using money, n this case the Saudi League wants to use an instant method. But that's not what I mean, what they do is not solely for the success of the club but wants to attract world attention then they will offer business and that business will not come from football but from other sides such as property and tourism.

Why through football? because that's the fastest way. If you think they really want to build a great club then bringing in old players is not the right way we know they can only play for the next 2-5 years after that they will retire, compare with elite clubs in Europe none of them used this method so in my opinion their target is only for promotion in other sectors.

Problems with Saudi Professional League is not all of their clubs are rich and have huge transfer budgets to buy star players from Europe. Only four biggest clubs got such budgets from PIF.

Saudi Arabia’s PIF acquires Saudi Pro League four largest clubs. It will not be a good way to develop a whole league and they only can create a Big Four in Saudi Professional League, makes those clubs dominate the league more strongly.

Generally even those clubs won't have healthy growth in quality as they can not buy star players from Europe forever. What they must focus is their club academies for youth players who need to have good environment and support from their clubs and academies to learn from star players and grow up their career. The Saudi Professional League need domestic youth players to be stronger sustainably.

Al Nassr are still at the bottom of the points' table after losing two matches at the start of the season. But their next matches, played well and won. Yesterday's match was a thrilling 5-1 win against Al Nasser Al Hazem. Al Nassr players in particular were in top form and many scored goals in the match. Al Nassr have won this match and are at number 6 in the points table, but they need to win their next matches to progress. However, if Sadio Mané and Ronaldo are present in the next matches, Al Nassr will definitely win the match.
Even though I've been watching Al Nassr for a while, I didn't see this coming at all. Good for them. But, in my (slightly crazy) view, we shouldn't get too far ahead of ourselves. Starting the season with two losses and then making a big comeback with a win? It sounds a little bit random, don't you think? Now, this is where my mind starts to spin. Even though they have Ronaldo and Mané, they are only ranked sixth. Shouldn't they be doing something, like clearing the table? I mean, really. With those big names, I'd think they'd be in the running for the title right away
Despite having players like Sadio Mané and Ronaldo in the team, Al Nassr's position at the moment is number 6 in the points table. Al Nassr, who won the Arab Cup last season, could have been in a better position this season but they failed to get off to a good start. The first five matches have already been played by each team while Al Nassr have lost two maps in the first five months due to which they are not in a good position in the points table at the moment. As Al Nassr is one of the biggest clubs in Saudi Arabia, the expectation is that Al Nassr will be at the top of the points table.

Three matches in a row Al-Nassr always won big by scoring more than 3 goals and this was in stark contrast to the two matches at the start of the season where they were only able to score 1 goal. Could it be that now the depth of the squad owned by Al-Nassr has begun to be evenly distributed and in fact they only conceded 1 goal in three matches. Al-Nassr's big win against Al-Hazm proved they can do just that again and this time Ronaldo got 1 goal and 2 assists for his partner. I think if they continue to be consistent, it is not impossible that Al-Nassr will be able to compete with Al-Hilla and Al-Ittihad again in the standings. The presence of Aymeric Laporte has proven successful in strengthening Al-Nassr's defense and this may also be one of the successful purchases from Al-Nassr.
Al-Nassr started with 2 losses in a row after the Arab cup, but then they ended up winning three in a row which they should have done already. I think it is quite obvious that we are going to end up with results like this from them most of the time.

I think it is obvious that we are talking about a situation where Al-Nassr ended up losing games they shouldn't, and that caused them to not play all that great and it should be obvious that we are going to see them do better. Ronaldo scored once again, dude is unstoppable, he is scoring every game all the time, it could be as simple as a penalty for him, or it could be a good shot, one way or another he gets his goal every single game. They built a really good team for sure.
These guys are playing really well. The opponent is easy and all that, but they are constantly making extra passes, passing to an open friend instead of shooting. Good game, good win. The opponent played well in the first half. Al Nassr must have started working with the European system. Ronaldo is like a young footballer trying to prove himself, the ambitious man has broken all sorts of records in the name of football, and even though he has written his name in golden letters in football history, he never lets up. Saudi League is getting surprisingly good.

That's what some people think of this league they only judge from one side even though there are many other sides, as you said there is no way to compete with the Europa League because it is on a different track unless a club from the Saudi Pro League participates in the Champions/Europa League it might make sense to compare them. It's no secret that the League's target is promotion and business because it's impossible for them to spend 800 Million without expecting something.

For anyone wondering how much money they have, just google it and it's easy to find, on the wikipedia page it is explained that their total asset value is $776 billion that's 70x higher than Manchester United price as we know Manchester United will be sold for $10 billion.

I'm dizzy with the Saudi Arabian teams. They are in turmoil during the transfer season and are taking away a lot of players from European clubs. With trends in the next few years. Are European football teams still strong? When the Saudi Arabian National Championship continuously recruited stars from European teams. Do they have enough money to do it? Will their league surpass the top European leagues? Too many questions about them.
No leagues can't match up the popularity and strength of European leagues. It's not all about signing trending players on the market, because with the current circumstances, the European leagues becoming more interesting and pulled up with competitive games. There's absolutely no comparison between these leagues, because Saudi is just coming gradually to limelight, so there's enough differences. Stop imagining things, it will take decades before Saudi Pro League will be able to compete with European football. We don't sit in the position to make judgements on that precisely.

Abdullah Al-Mayouf, the famous goalkeeper of Saudi Arabia who was playing for Al Hilal for a year finally left this team, and after they hired another goalkeeper and he couldn't the the first or even the second goalkeeper in Al Hilal anymore.
That's why Abdullah Al-Mayouf decided to leave Al Hilal and join Al Ittihad for this season.

It's a good decision. Al hilal had so many goal keepers and it will be so difficult for him to compete with another goal keeper to get a spot in the main squad. Bounou from sevilla gonna be the main goal keeper for al hilal.
It makes mayouf unable to compete with him caused by bounou has experience played in the european competition.

Moving to the ittihad will help him to get regular time in playing with the main squad. It helps him to gain more experience rather than staying in the al hilal as substitute player.

Even though Al-Nassr has great names in attack. But I still see that Al-Nassr's back line is not very strong. So when Al-Nassr will face strong opponents such as Al-Hilal, Al-Ahli or Al-ittihad, I feel that Al-Nassr will find it difficult to withstand attacks from great players in the same clubs owned by PIF.

When the opponent Al-Nassr faces does not have any dangerous attacks then this will indeed be good for Al-Nassr. because it is Al-Nassr who will counter attack with a very strong line of attack. But when the opponent is facing a great attack, Al-Nassr's balance can become shaky.

Arrival of Sadio Mané and now combo of the Ronaldo and Mane is surely game changer for this club with now their average goal in last three games is impressive, and both legendary players are giving their best which make things interesting in coming weeks even situation is not easy for any team because at the top we have four teams which are doing good and with this competition is going to be full of action packed matches this will make Saudi League one of the most interesting leagues in coming years.

I can't remember if those two have shared two memorable moments together in football, I can't even picture it but the combination is one of the best in Al-Nasr. Ronaldo made an improvement to Al-Nasr when he was signed but the addition of Mane made it look more easier for the club to do more tricks and win, but despite having the highest number of goals this season, they are still below the top 4 in the Saudi Premier League, Al-Hilal are the one leading with 13 points and I don't understand how they pull this without Neymar yet, I think they are naturally good this in this form.
I think Mane is very good at bringing out the best in his follow attackers, while he was at Liverpool the helped Salah to score many goals and was like a support to him sometimes and I think that's what he's doing in the Al-Nassr team, since his arrival Mane has made Ronaldo to look more impressive and the team has really improved with both players involved, to the point that they even won Al-Hilal to carry the Arab Club Championship cup.
Al-Hilal are currently leading the league and they're one of the strongest as well as one of the club that really spent well in the transfer window to get good European players so I'm not very suprised at their performance cause they've been dominating even before European players started coming into the league, Al-Nassr are 6th on the table but I believe with time they'll catch up to Al-Hilal

Al Nassr performance is having good improvement in last three matches and now in coming weeks they could be increase their ranking and performance as well right now we have only two teams with no defeats, but things could be really entertaining for the rest of this season.

Not only in the Pro League, they have also made improvements in the Asia Champions League, since the Saudi pro league is still much longer with more matches, if Ronaldo and Mane relationship isn't affected by anything, they should reform the club to one of the best, just as the manager Luis Castro said, they are still in the construction phase, the main volcano eruption is coming after the building is completed.

Al Nassr has had quit well performance recently after experiencing two consecutive defeats in the first and second matchday, but Al Nassr was able to recover by winning 4 consecutive wins in all competitions starting from the AFC Champion League Play-off to a winning streak in domestic leagues. Its seems excited and make all players on top confidence after winning three matches in a row in domestic league and their position up slowly to the top placed behind 4 points left from Al Hilal who managed top position standings.

Seems Al Nassr have get their top performance and will back to the top position standing but upcoming few weeks later they have play in AFC Champion League and will make their schedule busy.

We certainly also know that Ronaldo is known for his selfishness to always score goals but sometimes he can get rid of that and focus more on winning the team. What he's done so far has been pretty good and it's helped the team win by a big score and it's not just about chasing records. On the other hand, if Al-Nassr continues to be consistent like this then their victory will be much more guaranteed and I hope Ronaldo can lower his selfishness like in the previous match because he is no longer young like before, who always had amazing finishing when in the opponent's defensive area.
Ronaldo has become a team player in Al-Nassr FC. He now understands his role as a captain and also realizes that the club management deserves to get good results after spending so much on him. I can also speculate that the positive results Inter Miami is getting since the signing of Messi will also challenge him to chase club glory and place less interest in personal ambition. Out of the clubs ( Al Nassr, Al Hilal, Al Ittihad and Al Ahli) that have the backing of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Al Nassr is the less productive. Others occupy the first, third, and fourth positions, while they are sitting on the sixth position. But if they continue with their recent performance, the club will get the best out of their huge investment.

That's the thing, the season has essentially just started and there's plenty of time to "fix" the position in the table. There are also stars in other teams, but for some reason they are not talked about much.... It's not about the stars, it's about the team itself, whether it can maintain a high level or not. The fact that the team is in 6th place doesn't say anything about the team as a whole, because they have just recently already become the champions of the "King Salman Club Cup", that's what is really the indicator

Could it be that now the depth of the squad owned by Al-Nassr has begun to be evenly distributed and in fact they only conceded 1 goal in three matches.

What's contributing to this high numbers of goals by the Al Nassr side is because they have many goal scorers on their squad and not just Ronaldo. When the team is playing well, atleast 3 players will get on the score board like Ronaldo, Sadio mane and  one other player also sometimes they both get more than one goals. Al Nassr is playing good football so they'll be scoring often and the more they score they more they get hungry to score more. Ronaldo has options to score more than one goal in the last game just as he has the chance to score a hat trick in the last two games but gave it up, he also decided to proven an assist which goes to show he's playing for the team and not just himself.

I always expect the very best from Al Nassr this season. It was time for Al Nassr to step up their game; winning was their first and foremost objective. Al Nassr scored two goals in the first half, which was very entertaining for the supporters who were chanting triumphant melodies. Cristiano Ronaldo just scored one goal but provided two imperative assists that resulted in goals. He deservedly received MOTM for his outstanding effort against his opponents. In today's game, Al Nassr crushed Al Hazem. It was an easy endeavor for the Knights of Najd.
Al-Nassr really proved again the quality of their game. And winning in this match is truly quite extraordinary. Because almost all of Al-Nassr's front lines scored 1 goal each. I am happy that now the Al-Nassr attack line is increasingly understanding each other's playing patterns. So the bait that is formed will also be of higher quality. And the Assist made by CR7 is also very high quality. And make the goal very beautiful. A. Ghareeb is one of the players who always contributes a lot to every Al-Nassr match. I think this player continues to get performance improvements in every match.

Wait, wait But I don't see Talisca even on the bench. did I miss something?
Al Hazem is new promoted side, and they have no competition in Saudi Professional League most chanced they could be again in Division 1 after this season because after five matches they have two points and Al Nassr is now day by day getting stronger because their all foreigner players are adjusting and giving their best even right now they are far behind from their target but still things are looking good for them in coming days.

Ronaldo and Mane both are giving their best which is good for them right now both are standing at first and third is top goalscorer list hopefully these numbers will be improved in coming day and Al Nassr could be more improved side and having better chance for the title as well because this is going to be one of the most entertaining season for this league mostly top teams are at same level of quality and things can go for good end.
