Yannick Carrasco could have much better options than playing for the Saudis. This 30-year-old palyer had one year left on his contract with Atletico Madrid and he asked the team to let him go.
Atletico Madrid earned 15 million from this deal which is a good amount of money for a palyer like Yannick Carrasco.
He signed a three-year contract with Al Shabab.

Players around 30s like Carrasco are very fitted to join Saudi Professional League as they can enjoy their life after retirement or if they are just 30 like Carrasco, they can return to Europe after two or three seasons in Saudi Arabia.

Carrasco did have some excellent moments with Atletico Madrid when that club got some successful seasons in Champions League years ago. After that, he is still a main player in that club but no longer got good seasons again. They were not able to win La Liga and Champions League and likely won't be able to win those titles in next few years. So the Belgium midfielder made an acceptable decision to leave and took advantage of Saudi Professional League growth to collect money.

As of now, situation is very interesting about Mohammad Salah transfer to Al Ittihad because we have updates Liverpool already rejected £150 million offer, but now they are coming back within few days even before 7th September with the new offer which could be around £215 million and peoples near to Liverpool feeling this needs to be cashed out even nothing is official with Jürgen Klopp is also not want Mohammad Salah leave at this stage but with this offer salary package is also luxurious near to Cristiano Ronaldo, so now anything can happen and if we have this surely it's going to be one of the best things for the Saudi League as many top quality players will give their best here in this for the title race and things could be full of action packed entertainment.

Even mostly feeling Al Nassr also needs few defenders, but they are doing nothing and trying to improve things within available sources which are surely not ideal because this can create problems for them in coming weeks.
Im suprised at the extent this Saudi sides go to attract top European club players into their league, £215 is a very huge  and tempting over for a player and liverpool would be having a second thought on cashing out on their star player, but it would be a very tough decision to make, because they really need Mo Salah in their team this season, he's been so important for them this season and I feel this is the wrongest time to make such tempting over, leaving Liverpool without any option for replacement if they finally decide to cash in on Salah because the transfer window is already closed for European club sides.
Well before the window closed Jurgen addressed the situation saying that a deal won't go through and Salah is very important to the club this season, but the Saudi side have not given up yet and are doing all they can to get Salah this summer, it's not quite easy though but  since they've doubled the offer I'm waiting to see Liverpool's decision, if they'll change their mind and cash in on the huge money offered.

the battle for the championship trophy will be even tougher for Al Nassr this season. Saido Mane and Cristiano Ronaldo have to go the extra mile to secure points in each game, in the remaining time of the SPL transfer it is better for Al Nassr to add some good defenders. If not, it will be difficult for Al Nassr to keep up with Al Ittihad, Al Ahli, Al Hilal this season.

If M. Salah officially joins the SPL, we will see a spectacle like the European Champions League. Because they have names like Fermino, Neymar, Benzema, Ronaldo, Mane, Kante, Henderson and several others, we used to see them a lot in the UCL and now we watch them in the SPL.

Ronaldo is indeed a big star in the world of football. So it cannot be denied that when he is on the field, Ronaldo is a great player with truly stunning skills. Ronaldo is also someone who is an attraction for most people. But even so, to achieve perfect abilities, Ronaldo still needs adequate teammates and compensates for them. So that way, Al Nassr can't just rely on CR7 to be able to win every match. Because on a field, it contains 11 players who must work together with each other to create a good game and be able to win matches. So, if al Nassr only relied on one person, namely CR7, I think even though he is really great, this effort will not succeed. Moreover, until other players feel left out, I don't think there will be harmony within the team. Which results in the team's performance decreasing.

Then about M. wrong. I think his decision to stay at Liverpool was the right decision. Because M is wrong at Liverpool is still a starter and is always a great goalscorer. So basically M Salah is very comfortable at Liverpool. How could it not be, he has been at Liverpool since 2017. Plus he still has two seasons remaining on his contract with Liverpool.

It is wrong to compare Salah and Ronaldo, they have completely different situations, Ronaldo could not find any club that would like to take him to the team, and Salah plays in a top club and is a leader in the team. Therefore, Salah's decision is obvious and I have no doubt that he will have many more proposals from Saudi Arabia in the future, so he does not need to rush into this.

we all sometimes believe a little too much in rumors regarding Mohamed Salah move even though it is clear that Klopp has said that Mohamed Salah will not move anywhere and on the one hand, Salah also has no desire to leave Liverpool because this player really appreciates his team which has nurtured his talent to the point where Many people know their ability to score goals, so Klopp and Salah strength is very strong to stay at Liverpool. even though Ittihad offers a very large value for this player but Salah will not be tempted by the value offered because for Mohamed Salah talent in Europe is very important as long as he is still young to continue to develop his talent in European football and it seems Ittihad desire to get this player will only be a disappointment of hope not being able to bring in this talented player.
On the one hand, it is indeed good for Mohamed Salah's career if he still chooses to stay at Liverpool, but I think Mohamed Salah also has to think about the future. Now he is 31 years old, maybe he can only stay at his best in another 2 or 3 years and what will happen? what he has achieved so far has been quite good while playing in Europe so there is no harm in him now thinking about his future and money, his offer is quite big and I think there will be many benefits to be gained if he accepts this offer.
Transfers in the Saudi Arabian league have not yet been closed and Al Ittihad is still trying to bring in the Liverpool star, even the latest news is that Al Ittihad is preparing an even bigger offer to recruit Mohamed Salah.

The match between Al Ahli vs Al Taawon in the middle of September will have a big impact on the standings, A win for the home team will be enough to help them to stay in the race for the championship but a loss or draw will give the away team an advantage to get stronger in second place in the standings, because Al Taawon currently together with Al Hilal have a one-point advantage over the team below them, like the Al Hilal vs Al Ittihad match some time ago changed the standings so this match will be the same.

LOL.. Al Ahli need some time to recover from the devastating loss that they suffered against Al Fateh. Anyway, they have 10 more days to prepare for their encounter with Al Taawoun. But before their loss to Al Fateh, they had won all 4 of their initial matches. They would have got promoted to the top of the table had they won against Al Fateh, but now they are at 4th place. BTW, their opponents (Al Taawoun) are ahead of them in the points table with 13 points (4 wins and 1 draw). So it is going to be a very tough match for them.

FOR NOW its not a problem for european football, but i repeat FOR NOW, or NOT YET, whatever you prefer, because like you said, today they only own old players that are in his final efforts, or in the last of his carrer, or someone who for X reason dont have a space in the team, so they send him to another team to catch minute or make money.

But with 2 years of this transfers..... i can see a bad situation for european football. Lets see how all this develop.
Right NOT YET, until no one wants to watch matches from the leagues in Europe because all the great players are already in the Saudi pro league, all eyes will be on this league, how do we watch when several big clubs have bought players at high prices compete against a very weak team whose club valuation is only a few million euros so there will be a lot of goals scored maybe 7-0 or more than that, and that will be very beautiful to watch because there will be a lot of bagels on the scoreboard. I love this league  Wink

Al-Nassr can’t rely on Ronaldo to win every match and other stars too need to step up and help the team win matches. Lastly what are you’ll thoughts will Salah make a move on the last day because if the new rumour is true then Liverpool can’t turn down such a huge amount and while it may derail their current season but it’ll help them improve their finances for the long run.
Al Nassr can be able to play tough games with the absence of their important players. The Knights of Najd are fortunate to have one of the biggest player in their club, since his arrival he has made alot of differences and has bring development and popularity to the club and SPL. Al Nassr is a broad club that always goes for what's definitely sets on their radar. Cristiano Ronaldo is a big name in football and his presence is always felt in the club. His performance is on different levels compared to other players in the team, he earned so much respect and have aided his team accumulated more significant points and accolades this season.

Previously Yannick Carrasco was linked with Barca, but the final result should see Yannick Carrasco go to the Saudi League.
Al Shabab did not get good results in their first 5 matches. bringing in Yannick Carrasco is a pretty good move to strengthen their midfield. but it's possible that it won't be enough to change the game for the better. Al Shabab may have to bring in a few more players, like AL Nassr did when Ronaldo just came to the team. maybe Yannick Carrasco will need a lot of adjustment to his new team.

Unlike the case with Al Nassr or Al Hilal, Al Shabab doesn't have the luxury of being a recipient of cash inflows from Saudi Public Investment Fund. So they can't purchase anyone whom they want to include in their squad. Yannick Carrasco should be a decent addition, BTW. He can work in tandem with Gustavo Cuéllar, Carlos and Habib Diallo, and it will be a formidable combination to beat for other clubs. They had a great season last year, where they finished at no.4 (out of a total of 16 teams). And this time also, they will be aiming for a similar performance in the Saudi Professional League.

It is true and they know this. Bringing Ronaldo into the club was not to be dependent on him to win every game that would be too myopic of the club's  management. Rather what I think is that he is acting as a catalyst for the other teammates. To improve their performance to influence them to and we know that it is working. Ronaldo will not always be there, they want to birth more stars from the Arab world through him. As for Liverpool, Salah isn't going he has made his decision known.

In the end, football is just like any other career option, and players usually change teams when they get an offer which is difficult to reject. Talking about Al Shabab, it is not one of the teams under the ownership of the Saudi Public Investment Fund. But despite that, the team management has been successful in attracting good players from around the world. Yannick Carrasco will get an opportunity to compete against Ronaldo, Neymar or Benzema whenever his team plays against Al Nassr or Al Hilal. So at this point, I don't think that there is a need to talk about this move in such a negative manner.

Well I don't really smell trouble for the European football given that, not all players would be interested in moving over there, we've seen cases where some players rejected juge offers from the SPL in this recent transfer window, and also the European learn far more better and developed than the SPL and alot of players would love to play in major tournaments in Europe than  down grading to the SPL.

However it's nice to see that the Saudi clubs are now able to attract youngsters into their league, according to the news, Everton youngster Demarai Gray is so eager to switch to the Saudi side and has made it clear that he wants to move to AL-Ettifaq and theirs was an ongoing talks between both clubs and it's advancing to the final stage.

Also everything is done on Gray's side  and both clubs are getting closer to an agreement, he's expected to sign a four year deal with AL-Ettifaq,  and it is said that he's already accepted a move to the club last week.

The only downside for Carrasco is that he transferred to a fifth level team, and they are not good. If it was Hilal or Ahli or Nassr I would understand the situation and that would have made some sense without a doubt, but that doesn't seem to be the way he will go, he is going to a team where he is the only huge name.

I get that there are some other names there that people may know, but none that are amazing and big names neither. I think it should be important to just focus on how they can move forward with this. I get that it is going to be tough for him, but he is making good money he can't make anywhere else, so that should be important without a doubt, I think it should be the most important case for him.

The best players like Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema, Sadio Mane, Neymar Jr joined the Saudi league and took the league to unique heights. Thus, if Saudi clubs add good players from more European clubs in the next season, then European football will be under some threat.

I don't think like you and I don't think if Saudi League will ever be a problem for European football and threatening them because the Saudi teams can buy are usually older players and the superstar players with a good future in top teams will never join the Saudi League unless they are near to end their career.
A player like Ronaldo would never join the Saudi League in his good days.

You missed something that Al Hilal is now at the top of the standings, they also have quite a lot of stars. There is Aleksandar Mitovic, although he is not as famous as other top players, this player has scored four goals in his three matches with Al Hilal. apart from that, they have Malcom and also Neymar. these two players, can rotate each other. Apart from that, there are several other players who are quite established and really understand this competition. for example, Michael and also several local players who have qualities above the average for local players from other teams.

If Al Nassr targets to win this competition trophy, they must overthrow their toughest rivals. Apart from that, Al Ittìhad as defending champions will defend their title. rumor has it, they want Salah to join and deepen their team squad. If Mo Salah is finally brought from Liverpool, Al Ittihad will increasingly become a very competitive team. Thus, it is not an easy matter for Ronaldo and his colleagues to win this trophy easily, especially now that they are 4 points behind the top of the standings.
if Al Nassr achieves minor results, then their rivals will widen the gap in points. So, like it or not, Luis Carlo has to bring his team to win game after game. thus, they will reduce the points gap from the top spot. that way, the competition will be more exciting.
That's right, the battle for the championship trophy will be even tougher for Al Nassr this season. Saudi is just trying to change that bad image owned by its football league.

Money has the power to bring about change. Saudi Arabia is currently ranked only 54th in FIFA. It is indeed no better than Mali. The media did report that this was an Arab move to improve the bad image of their case.  There have been cases like the murder of Washington Post columnist Jamal Khashoggi in 2018 at the hands of Saudi agents, and the devastating war that began in Yemen in 2015, and you're probably right they have a target of hosting the 2030 world cup.

It cannot be denied that the 2030 World Cup is the first target the event will bring millions of people to Saudi to watch all the matches then after that they will continue with the next target of introducing the mega project that is being built, if all plans go according to target and succeed then the Saudi Pro League might also end I mean there is no more big news like bringing in star players because their target has been achieved. What is happening now is not for the long term, believe me, no one wants to spend that much money for nothing/return.
