I think this is the best option for now for Firminho after leaving Liverpool and there's no harm in trying a new league for next season. Al-Ahli was very good at taking advantage of a moment like this to be able to sign one of the Liverpool legends in the summer and it looks like that will happen soon if there are no other obstacles that make Firminho think again. With this, Firminho will team up with former Chelsea player, Eduard Mendy, who has previously made an agreement with Al-Ahli.

With the level of attention and publicity the Saudi Arabia league is getting currently, it will be very difficult to refuse a contract from the league. Also, the pay the clubs offer is far above what the players based on their age and level of performance will get anywhere in Europe. The Brazilian forward is 31 and has had a flourishing football career, so moving to Al-Ahli as a free agent will be more profitable. The club is currently waiting for Firmino's response which will pave the way for his medical. He still had the option of returning to the Brazilian league because there has been some interest from there.

Firmino would be huge as he is one of the most underestimated players if you look at his performances for Liverpool and that he wasn't part of the first eleven often times. When you say it is about trying out a new league, I doubt that this is what drives any player who is going to the Saudi Professional League. They aren't going there to try out the league, they are going there to bag hundreds of millions.

There is nothing attractive about the Saudi Legaue for now except the money. Most of these players are winding up their football career and SPL provides the opportunity of retiring wealthy enough to live a comfortable life. But as the league develops players might consider moving there to experience quality football. But this will happen only when the Saudi football association makes use of this uncommon opportunity.

Firmino is very close to join in al ahli. I think that he will be agreed to join in the club. It's better for him to play in saudi league as there will be so many superstars to come soon. I hope that firmino will not be wasting this golden chance to play for al ahli.
As reported by romano if al ahli already prepared medical test to anticipate if firmino will be giving green light to play in al ahli.

I hope that firmini will not be stupid enough to miss this chance. It's better rather than play for a mediocre club with small salary at this moment.
Al ahli has been giving him huge offer which is very worthy for him to play in saudi pro league as soon as possible. It's the time for him to shine again. Fi

I agree with you that at the club level, Mahrez has achieved everything. Recently, he won the UEFA Champions League for the first time with Manchester City. It appears that Guardiola prefers to play Bernardo Silva over Mahrez. The tactical mastermind seems to favor players who can be deployed anywhere on the field or versatile players like Silva, while Mahrez is more dominant when played as a right winger.

Considering Mahrez's age, nearing 33 years old, I believe it would be best for him to start a new chapter in the Saudi Arabian league if there are official offers coming his way. Sooner or later, it will become challenging for Mahrez to compete with younger players. Instead of being a backup for others, it would be wiser for him to accept a lucrative salary and enjoy full playing minutes by joining one of the Arab league teams.
Mahrez has passed his heyday in the highest caste by winning several prestigious titles, most recently he won the Champions League Trophy with Manchester City. I think it's time for him to seek a new challenge with a club that can guarantee him a place in the first team, he has been in and out of the City line-up and has always been on the bench. I think it's time for him to seek a new challenge with a club that can guarantee him a place in the first team, he has been in and out of the City line-up and has always been on the bench.

Guardiola has put more faith in Bernardo Silva ability which kept Mahrez on the bench in the FA Cup and Champions League finals and left out of the starting line-up in the quarter-finals and semi-finals of European competition. He will pay more attention if he plays in the Arab League with a guaranteed first place, the salary factor also needs to be considered to raise money during his career there.

Even with the mouth watering and very enticing deal, that the Saudi Arabians are offering to players, some players still have refused because those players are more interested in goals that they have set for themselves to achieve in the various leagues that they currently play for and they're not just playing for the financial gain. Heung-min Son from Tottenham refused moving to Saudi Arabia even with a very deal of £51million.

https://talksport.com/football/1473969/tottenham-heung-min-son-transfer-saudi-arabia-latest/

Riyad Mahrez may also be more interested in playing soccer in a very popular league than money aone.
Careers of football players are very short and they have to balance between their ambition to play at biggest leagues, clubs and win biggest titles as most as they want with salary they can receive from their clubs. They must secure their finance before their retirement and not all players have good finance after their retirement.

They will not have healthy finance after retirement if they overspend when they are still earning lot of money as players and continue their overspending habit after retirement. Riyad Mahrez actually has better finance after he moved from Leicester City to Manchester City years ago. He is also an important player in Manchester City in many seasons too but his decision to reject offers from Saudi Arabia is very brave. He might change his minds in future when he becomes older and lose his importance in Manchester City.

A player like Ronaldo can have an effect on the team when he joins there, regarding Al-Nassr I think since there was not a great team like the other teams Ronaldo was playing there, I think Ronaldo can even choose which players they have to buy or which coach they have to hire, he is obviously more than a player in Al-Nassr.
Ronaldo is a player who made Al Nassr name more and more known to the world. So it is quite natural that Ronaldo is a player who can provide advice to Al Nassr management in signing players in the transfer window. Even Al Nassr recently got Hakim Ziyech who will be an additional strength for Al Nassr for next season.

Ronaldo in his first season with Al Nassr he failed to bring Al Nassr to win a trophy but his performance in individual statistics was quite brilliant in his first season with Al Nassr. I think Ronaldo hinted to Al Nassr management to recruit a lot of good quality players to be able to compete with the Al itihad team in the trophy race next season.

Don't think too much about Ronaldo he is not a player like that we know who he is, when he was still paid by the club to play he knew how far he had to act, no more
The players brought by this season are management decisions not at the request of anyone and the goal is clear to take back the title that was missed last season.
Even if management requires Ronaldo to negotiate to get new players then this is in a different situation because the club asks him, not vice versa. As the latest news, Al Nassr asks Ronaldo to persuade Antoine Griezmann to join but it seems that this effort failed because Griezmann was still comfortable with Atletico.

Although there is a storm of player climbing in the clubs of Saudi Arabia, but I think Griezmann will never come to Saudi clubs from a happy place. Because this season with good performance and skill, Atlético has tried to give something good to the club. However, it is highly unlikely that Ronaldo will convince him as suggested. These clubs in Saudi are only discussed but still the clubs are very weak due to not having enough good players. So Griezmann will never want to accept Cristiano Ronaldo's offer.

The Saudi Arabian clubs at the moment is reported to table mouthwatering and very tempting deals that are too tempting to reject for any player they want to bring to the Saudi league.
That been said, I don't think that Riyad Mahrez will want to leave the shores of Europe because a certain Saudi club is showing interest in him while offering huge financial package as well. The Saudi League isn't the best place for a player of Mahrez's age and quality

There are some interesting updates regarding saudi club al nassr

- Brozovic has agreed to join in al nassr and he has even faced cristiano ronaldo which will become his team mate.

- Cristiano ronaldo has been even trying to be a middle man for al nassr to get griezmann from atletico madrid. I don't know how good the development from this transfer but the chance for griezmann to leave from atletico is quite small at this moment.
He is still having good performance in atletico madrid.

Im feeling doubt if CR7 will able to convince him to join in al nassir this summer.

I also think so where there is no interference from the player in signing the player which is carried out by the team management. I think the signing director Al Nassr has his own stance that they will bring in players who they believe will be able to make a big difference to the progress of the team in the next season. Well, Ronaldo may have quite big ambitions next season, namely to win a trophy and most likely he will pressure the management to bring in the ideal partners for him next season. I think ronaldo's adventure in the next season will be even more difficult as their rivals Al ittihad keep moving in making great signings in this transfer window.  Several interesting things happened in the Saudi Arabian league where several other teams like Al Hilal continued to make great efforts to bring in top players to add to their strength next season and their target was Lukaku. So from that I think every team will not depend on a player who can manage management in recruiting players because this will boomerang for them later.

Do you remember that it was Al-Hilal who didn't succeed in bringing Messi to the Arab League because Messi preferred to move closer to Club Inter Miami. And at that time Al-Hilal turned his hunt to one of the Man City players, namely Riyad Mahrez. So, I'm curious about the latest news on this one, but I haven't found any updates regarding Al-hilal's offer to bring in Riyad Mahrez. Has anyone read the news regarding news updates about Al-hilal and Riyad Mahrez?
There is no recent news regarding this player, and his contract at Manchester City runs until 2025, but rumors are circulating that he is also interested in joining the Saudi Pro Liga, and seeing how English clubs see an opportunity to sell players who are over 30 years old to the league At this time, it is very likely that soon there will be an update regarding Riyadh Mahrez to the Saudi Pro League.
Chelsea have already managed to sell a number of players here and maybe City will also have success doing the same.

Everything is possible regarding Mahrez. For now he has a contract until 2025 and Manchester City isn't under pressure and has to make a decision. They are closely scrutinizing the transfer market themselves and if they find an opportunity to sign a strong player on Mahrez' position, there will probably be news following very soon because then they could sell him without weakening the team. But as I said time is not against them for now. Mahrez' profile would be another one that fits the SPL activities very well.

If Ronaldo could choose which player or coach, I think he would choose Sergio Ramos, but not. Until now there has been no news about Ramos will anchor to Al Nassr, even Benzema was a teammate when at Real Madrid currently not also anchored to Al Nassr. I think your assumption is incorrect, maybe Ronaldo will give advice to Al Nassr, but still which is determines at there I think Musalli Al Muammar.

Kante judging by his actions is a great and humble guy and in Saudi Arabia he will be comfortable, but Benzema is still a star of another level, the attention to him will be more and it will probably be harder for him to adapt than Kante.

I would not say that Kante is a tough player. He is not afraid to go into clashes with the opponents and as a great midfielder-supporting did a great job, it was almost impossible to go through Kante, but it seems in his career he has never seriously injured anyone, did not break his legs. He's a tough midfielder, but not violent and didn't intentionally break other players out of emotion or anger. And I think other players respected him for these qualities, feared him as a competitor, because Kante always gave his all on the field, but always within the rules.
It is even nice that such a player can earn good money now and please the fans with his game for another couple of years.

We must also admit that the quality of the Saudi league will probably grow a lot with the star players who have joined recently.
I think Benzema would adjust a lot better, Kante will adjust a lot harder because of exact the reasons you gave. Kante is a humble guy, in Saudi Arabian league he is a superstar. Which means that if we are talking about having an insane amount of attention to him due to being a superstar, he will not be happy about it, even at Chelsea when he got a lot of attention that just meant he wanted to stay out of flashlights and that's why it was a trouble for him.

At premier league there are many bigger stars than Kante so he was capable of doing it, here in SA he will be one of the biggest ever names in history of the league, probably behind only Ronaldo and Benzema. Benzema on the other hand is used to be being a star, and he will be star there too, so he will adjust easier.

I see that Mahrez has quite a chance to join the Saudi Professional League, personally he has reached the highest level in Europe having won the Champions League as well as several titles in the domestic league. Even though the contract is still active until 2025, if you get a suitable offer, Manchester City certainly won't mind letting him go, but with a note that Manchester City also don't lose Bernardo Silva.

Such a player is not only good to have in the team, but even in the reserves just in case (I mean, if they find a good replacement for his position), so if I were Manchester City, I would not sell him to any club, no matter if it's Saudi Arabia. But on the other hand, it's certainly better to sell him so that he has more playing practice at another club, but that's if you look only from that point of view, not otherwise. I think the MS management are generally against this transfer.

the arabs have not rested, they are very determined to take coaches and players from europe to the arab league, this time the target was the coach of juventus, according to Fabrizio Romano Al Hilal is behind the coach of juventus, they offered a proposal of €20m but the coach of juventus refused this offer and even so according to the rumors Al Hilal still insists on hiring the coach of juventus, honestly in my opinion this move would not be good at all, that's because the way the coach Juventus coach has been using it, it's not a pretty game form

he prioritizes the defense a lot and forgets about the attack and it seems to me that the Arabs really like to see games in which the teams play well, that's why I don't see this movement of chasing the Juventus coach as a good option, it will be better than the Arabs of Al Hilal look for other good trainers. I still haven't heard who will coach ronaldo's team. I don't know why ronaldo's team don't hire a great coach, it's strange that they focus a lot on great players but forget about the coach

More importantly they will first try to get a good replacement player for him before they let him go. Mahrez has been an important player for Manchester City in many games even though he wasn't always part of the starting eleven, but still he was highly reliable in all of the games, barely makes mistakes and is even good enough to score goals also in difficult games. But it could also be him who wants to leave the club. It is again the situation when the Saudis want him, they will get him.

Quoted from Romano. Rumors have it that the Saudi approach for Thomas Partey is concrete, but there is still no firm bid for the player - only initial talks. in fact, Arsenal would be open to letting him go, as revealed a week ago. however, there was no talk of a new deal. apparently, there are doubts for Saudi clubs interested in Partey to play in the Saudi Pro League. because, Partey still prioritizes continuing to play in the European league. the closest club is Juventus, but it seems that no agreement has been made between the two clubs.
If, Partey is the same as other players who have previously joined several Saudi clubs, with the lure of high salaries.  it is not impossible, Partey can change direction to change his plans to play in this competition. Unfortunately, I don't know which club would want to sign Partey's services.
Speaking of Partey, at least the midfielder can still be expected to play a high quality game. moreover, if he plays in this competition. my guess is, Al Hilal or Al Ahli is the club that wants Partey's services.

Other rumours, Al Nassr remains convinced of Marcelo Brozovic's deal. talks will continue in the next hours, monday will be an important day to move forward. the deal hangs on the player's side, waiting for a new round of talks.
well, speaking from the side of the League competition. So far, Al Nassr is the most serious club to overhaul its squad. if, the agreement is well established with Brozovic. We can be sure, Al Nassr is by far the most ideal team in terms of the depth of the players.

In addition to the already signed Kante and Benzema there is also Ruben Neves, who is only 26 and has not yet reached his peak, today Chelsea should sell a good and stable goalkeeper Edouard Mendy. Perhaps still be able to sign Hakim Ziyesh, the more so he is also a Muslim and in principle should also fit normally in the Saudi league, and given the fact that Ziyesh is still young enough, he is only 30 years old, perhaps the peak of his athletic career is still ahead. He is a versatile player and can reinforce any team, just a bit lazy, unlike Kante. But the Saudi Arabian championship is not as fast and intense as the English Premier League, so even if he doesn't play to his full potential, Ziyesh shouldn't get lost on the field like he did at Chelsea.
There are also talks with one of the best holding midfielders in the world, Sergio Busquets.

So not now against the background of other players Kante will no longer look like a super star, but just a top player.
