Mane has been linked to the liverpool again before this news was coming. No update regarding it. I don't even think with his age now he will be moving to the SPL. SPL is the best place for a professional player to retire but not for seeking more experience. Mane is still getting a lot of interests from various clubs. He will able move to the serie a or la liga if he wants. I do agree with you if it's impossible to hear him gonna accept such offer.
Al ahli already secured firmino from liverpool and the club used firmino to lure mane to join in al ahli.

It's quite hard to believe mane will accept it even though im sure that if firmino gonna try to persuade him to join in al ahli. I hope mane will try to give confirmation regarding his future in bayern.
Al ahli's offer seems not to bad at all.
The only european club I am aware that has interest to sign him is Newcastle United. About Liverpool return? Jurgen Klopp really likes Mane but I don't know if he would want him back. I could remember the case of Coutinho when he left for Barcelona and things didn't go well with him. When Klopp was asked if he would like to resign him, he said no that he warned him before he left. Maybe Klopp doesn't like resigning players who left him for another club. Mane is unsettled at Bayern Munich, Al Ahly already has a 3 years lucrative deal for him on the table and there are other Saudi Arabian clubs reported to be interested in his signature.

Firmino refused to extend his contract with Liverpool since they didn't agree to rise his salary and because they recruited Nunez in part. Overall the player was reported to leave Anfield but it was not expected to join a league outside of Europe apart from the last days where we heard that he is in contact with Al Ahli.
He is too young to play there in my opinion but it is his choice in the end.
Roberto Firmino is not young anymore, he is already 31 years old and will be 32 years old in October. Liverpool should let him go for the same reason, that's because Liverpool always find it difficult to pay the high salary demands of their players. Mane had to suffer the same fate last season, as did several other players who have been released by Liverpool in recent seasons.

Do you believe that if you want Liverpool to increase your salary, then only two options are most likely to be achieved, that is to stay for the same salary or go to another team.

Yes but in this modern football 31 its not so old like 10 or 20 years ago, now we can see players still at top level at 38 years old.

I really like to see how this players are gonna play on the Saudi Arabia league, because maybe a lot of them start to play with less effort than in Europe, but surely when a lot of them are in the league that can make more competitive.

I think the rumor Sadio Mane might true, he's not really happy with Bayern Munich due to personal reason. If Mane not want to move to Saudi League, I expect he would move to other team.

Firmino is currently 31 years old and I think that is the right age to move from Liverpool and come to the Arab League, apart from that only Al ahli is willing to pay Firmino a high salary, reportedly Mendy (who previously played for chelsea), who served as Al ahli's new goalkeeper, will also play along with Firmino.
To be honest, getting Firmino on a free transfer is a big luck for Al ahli, what a wrong move for Liverpool management who can't benefit from the sale of Firmino. The Arab League really created an uproar in the transfer market, they continued to bring in top European players.

Al-Ahli managed to recruit Edouard Mendy and Roberto Firmino in this transfer market, at least this transfer surprised me too. Because after all, the reality is that Al-Ahli is a promotion team for next season in the Saudi Professional League, because last season Al-Ahli only played in Division 1. Of course, this kind of incident is very rare in the big leagues in Europe but maybe, because it looks like they too getting paid high and not fixated on titles then it is enough to make Edouard Mendy and Roberto Firmino willing to play at Al-Ahli next season. Also, both of them got the same contract duration for three seasons, which is quite interesting.

Has anyone heard about the offer being made to Gianluigi Buffon? He is 45-year old and currently represents one Serie B club in Italy. The offer from Saudi Professional League is reportedly worth £25 million. Buffon is currently playing his 28th season in senior club football. There is no conformation from the player, and he is reportedly analyzing his options. However, I believe that this is as good as it gets for someone like Buffon. Saudis are offering a good opportunity for him to secure his retirement package.

That's not weird at all if we see Gianluigi Buffon joining the Saudi teams because he is getting old we know the Buffon we see these days is not going to have the same performance as he was working on Juventus. However, Buffon started his senior and youth career in Parma that's why he joined this team after Juventus to get retired from the team where he started his career.

That's why maybe Buffon will not leave his team especially because he is under contract with his team Parma until 2024 after that he will be 46.
I've only heard of this, but are Arab clubs not overreacting when it comes to signing 45-year-old players? I understand that he is a goalkeeper and is still a living legend because at his age he is still actively playing even though he is not playing in the top tier of the league. If the Arab clubs want him then I think they're just capitalizing on his popularity, because if you look at the age factor and also the performances, it's clear that he's no longer in his 30s.

But I think, when an Arab club tries to sign a player who is no longer able to play for a long time, then it's too much in my opinion. Because if they want players to come from Europe, they can still bring in players who are still not old like Buffon. So if they insist, then the reason I give is that they only boost the popularity of a player.

Brazilian star Roberto Firmino has joined Saudi Arabian club Al Ahli .  At the end of last season, Liverpool's contract with Brazilian star Roberto Firmino expired and Roberto Firmino signed a three-year deal with Saudi Arabian club Al Ahli after leaving Anfield.  Now he will play pro league in Saudi Arabia.
Firmino has been rumored already approached by real madrid to be benzema's successor, but it seems like that madrid was losing interest in him. Firmino is gonna be in the same club with mendy.
Firmino has been passing his golden time with liverpool. He was not interesting to play in another european league. It seemed to me if firmino is thinking about how he will able to enjoy his life.
He has been passing the greatest year with liverpool. I really support him at this moment.

From the coach there is the name Steven Gerrard who has just signed a two-year contract with one of the Saudi Arabian League clubs Al Ettifaq. Gerrard became one of the famous coaches who moved to the Saudi Arabian League in this transfer market. Even though he is not as good as playing, his experience when training Rangger and Aston Villa is expected to provide a new style there. I think the Saudi Arabian League clubs are on the right track to invest in football. Building a team is not enough just to bring in top and quality players, but coaches also play a very important role. In the long run the presence of quality players and coaches and star status will make the Saudi Arabian League more competitive.

Although for today the players they have brought in are mostly old players with star status, but this can at least be a good start for Saudi Arabia's long-term football. With the club's stable financial condition and full support from the state, these clubs can easily build the squad they want.

To be honest, before that I thought that only four big clubs would be competing to bring in top European players. however, it turned out that other clubs also took part in bringing in other top players plus coaches. I read a few days ago that there were rumors reporting that Alexis Sanchez had received an official proposal from the Al Fateh club. he was offered a salary of €10 million per season, with a contract running until 2024 plus an option for a further season. thus, it turns out that not only Al Nassr, Al Ittihad, AlAhli and A Hilal have brought in top European players. but several other clubs also participated in bringing in top European players.

Now, Steven Gerrard is also taking part as coach of the Al Ettifaq club. in the 2022/2023 season, Ettifaq was only able to finish 7th in the Saudi pro League. now with Gerrard around, at least he is expected to be able to bring Al Ettifaq to a better direction. In fact, it is hoped that Gerrard can bring Al Ettifaq to finish in the top 4 of the Saudi Pro League. however, it seems that this job will not be easy. at least, the first thing Steven Gerrard did was adapt well. interestingly, several Saudi clubs are still competing to bring in other players. well, I think the Saudi Pro League competition will be more interesting and get a lot of attention from football lovers.

I would say it's impossible Salah will join Saudi League because he's still in top performance and very consistent, he could move to any teams if he want. His market value is quite low, one of underrated player for me.

I think the rumor Sadio Mane might true, he's not really happy with Bayern Munich due to personal reason. If Mane not want to move to Saudi League, I expect he would move to other team.

Why not Firmino is waiting, Sadio Mane and Mohamed salah should have no obstacles if want to join they are familiar with the rules and culture in this country. Currently, Mohamed Salah is still in its best performance but remember his age is approaching 32 years slowly he will lose his speed we can take an example from Ronaldo all can change instantly, if this season there is no chance maybe in the following season who knows right? Roberto Firmino is also 31 years old and he is one of the Liverpool mainstay players but who would have thought this season he was free transfer.

We never know what these clubs plan what is certain is that every season there is always a surprise and improvement, last season only one player and this season there were dozens of players + coach so how about the following season? this phenomenon will continue until they reach their mission.

Hot damn. Never thought I would be posting in this league thread but with Bobby confirming his destination and rumours of Mane possibly linking up with him and then with Super Captain Gerrard also heading there, it could be that I might end up following developments there, if not even watching a game or two next season.

Oil money objective achieved, I guess?

The Arab League this summer is indeed very excited about the transfer of top European players, now where Al-Ahli has succeeded in bringing in Roberto Firmino from Liverpool. I have to respect the decision taken by Firmino, even though I still hope he can still play in Europe.

What's interesting is that before the arrival of Roberto Firmino, Al-Ahli had succeeded in bringing in Eduo Mendy from Chealsea. What is certain is that with the presence of Firmino and Eduo Mendy at Al-Ahli's, of course they will give their own color to the Arab League. Al-Ahli has signed Firmino for three years with an option to extend.

I also read the latest news from FabrizioRomano, Al Ahli are also very interested in bringing in Sadio Mane from Bayer Munchen, It seems that Al Ahli wants to reunite Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane.

I just found out about this news, is there a Saudi team who wants to pay old players at a pretty good price of £ 25 million? This is quite strange in my opinion and is not logical. For Ronaldo, in my opinion, it is a natural thing because it is still quite decent from his declining performance he is also the center of attention of the world of football, even though I know that Buffon is a legend, but it is not as beautiful as imagined if he is 45 years old.
I admit that in the popularity of Buffon as a legendary goalkeeper, but his popularity is no longer echoing in the world of football today, precisely in my ears, I think the decision to bring Buffon to the Saudis is an illogical thing, or do you finded another reason ?

Really hot news  Shocked again new players come to this league, so far Al-Ahli has brought 2 European players Edouard Mendy and Roberto Firmino but I don't think this is enough Al-Ahli needs 2-3 more players, somehow Firmino adjusted without a player with the same level. I haven't heard how much al-Ahli will pay Firmino for one season and there is no official confirm, but some sources say the salary is 2x higher than what he gets at Liverpool around €20 million per season with a contract agreement for 3 seasons meanwhile when at Liverpool Roberto Firmino only gets around €13 million per season so I think it is the best choice before his retirement.

Another rumor, is it true that al-Ahli will bring Sadio Mane? I can't imagine if this news is true they will do again like what they did with Liverpool some years ago, why not think about rebuilding Liverpool in the Saudi League by bringing in 2 more players at once Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah so we can see old Liverpool in this league.
Looks like the Saudi Arabian Pro League clubs are now an attraction for top turopean players. With the influence of a lot of money, it is very easy for them to bring in targeted players to improve their squad for next season. If Sadio Mane officially moves to Al Nassr it will be a complete surprise for all of us.

I think it's also very natural for players like Fermino and Mane to join the Saudi Pro League Club. There have been many players who have gone there before like Cristiano Ronaldo who joined Al Nassr too, it's natural considering they are no longer young and most importantly they will get more salary at the new club than at their old club. In the future the Saudi Pro League clubs will be more competitive with each other with the presence of players and coaches like Steven Gerrard. On the other hand European clubs will find a new job in terms of securing players in their squad, because if an offer comes from the League club it will definitely be tempting and their players will definitely leave.

I also just read the news about this one. Al-Ahli was quite lucky because Roberto Firminho happened to be on a free transfer because his contract at Liverpool had already expired. And Al-Ahli made good use of the opportunity. With Firminho joining, more and more European stars have joined the Saudi Arabian League.

Even more surprising news is that Al-Ahli is currently trying to sign Sadio Mane. Firminho and Mane used to be at the same club, namely at Liverpool. And it seems that Al-Ahli intends to bring these two players together in a reunion at the Al-Ahli club. I will wait for the latest update about this. because it would be very interesting if Mane also joined Al-ahli.

Wow nice, another interesting news ! Roberto Firmino become the second signing after Édouard Mendy. Actually, this is not good for Firmino because he should still be worth to play in Europa, but it's better maybe for him to earn a lot of money in Saudi, because his contract with Liverpool is also over. Also, maybe he seems already satisfied with eight season at the reds, because it has got a lot of trophy. The clubs that are in this league maybe still aim top players, next who else would they recruit. Cheesy
Firmino was never going to renew his contract, everyone knew that last season was his last season in the club, and in several games where he scored, he was very much celebrated and his contribution very acknowledged. The question for Firmino is that we did not know the club he was going to join, I was thinking it was going to be Real Madrid, but knowing that he is retiring soon, I understand why he has decided to move to the Saudi Professional League which is majorly for the financial gain. He is still a very good player and will be very good for Al Ahli.

The list is going to be longer day by days as big names are joining Saudi League recently we have Roberto Fermino in Al-Ahli club which is new promoted, and he is joining this club for the three years contract even in early days mostly where feeling aged or near retirement players will be joined but now recently we have too many big stars are also in race for the Saudi League which is good as things are going more interesting.

We already have these big names N'Golo Kante and Kalidou Koulibaly have also left Chelsea for Saudi Arabia, with Karim Benzema, Ruben Neves and Marcelo Brozovic in coaches recently we have Steven Gerard who is also now part of the Saudi League future is looking bright for the league as they are doing things for the long run success.
