In one factor, Benzema's belief was the thing that made him interested in playing in the Saudi Arabian league. Apart from that, in terms of age and salary, the offer is a second choice for him to play in an easier league due to the aging factor.  Also another thing is the existence of the figure of Ronaldo, who is likely for him to be one of the challenges to accept this offer.

Al ittihad are the reigning champions this season and they seem to be continuing to make changes in the squad to increase their strength for next season. With the arrival of kante and Benzema I think they are relatively strong next season even Al nassr will most likely find it difficult to stop Al ittihad in the next season. There are still a lot of players who are likely to join the SPL this season.

It's a very good move for Benzema to join Al Ittihad. Benzema as a player has achieve almost everything in football, especially towards the end of his career. He is a legend for a club as big as Madrid. He's also the player that has won the most trophies with Madrid. That's a pretty big achievement. So taking an offer that gives him a lot of money in a country he would be comfortable in is a wise move. There's also the fact that Al Ittihad has a very good project. They are recruiting the right players and they will still try to get more God players.
It's going to be interesting to see the rivary between Ronaldo and Benzema.

The reason why European players troping the Saudi Arabian League is because used clubs has the money to get this player and with time the Saudi Arabia League will be very interesting League because of the players they can afford to be in their league. Next season will be very interesting because more European players will be playing in the league.
the arrival of some of Europe's top players will build the Saudi Professional League even better. especially to the attention of foreign media. which maybe not many television stations have cooperated for the broadcast rights of the Saudi Professional League. and the competition will also be more interesting. Events like this will boost morale for local Arab players. especially when it comes to upgrading skills.

We agree, maybe the main reason Benzema is willing to accept Al Ittihad's offer is the fantastic salary, at the end of his career in football. besides that, Benzema has an interest if we refer based on his beliefs. so, I wouldn't doubt if Benzema can adapt well, in fact it looks like Benzema will achieve chemistry quickly with his new club. because, culturally, he knows very well the conditions of the Saudi Pro League. and, most likely if Benzema will be a tough competitor in terms of scoring goals in this competition. thus, there will be tough competition between the two former stars who have both played for the Real Madrid club. looks like this league will be more interesting. in fact, it is not impossible, if Al Shabab, Al Hilal, Al Ahli, will bring in other stars to enliven this increasingly competitive competition. although, basically their goal is nothing but promoting Saudi itself in the eyes of the world. at least, we have a new spectacle besides the European league competition. unfortunately, Messi prefers MLS rather than enlivening the trend to this competition.

You can count on it that it is just a matter of time before this competition will be full of European top players, or at least good players. I find it strange anyway that it has taken so long for someone like Ronaldo to come to this country. The amounts you can earn there, you have to play football for a few years in Europe or perhaps the rest of your career. I read somewhere that Benzema will soon earn about half a million euros a day. That is a considerable wage, Ronaldo will probably also be around that rate. Those sheikhs can easily afford that. This competition will only get stronger and stronger.

~snip~

Maybe Al Nassr failed in all competitions this season but it's not the end of everything including Ronaldo who is not worth blaming because he comes in the middle of the season, if Ronaldo played since the beginning of the season, the situation might be different. Just info Ronaldo might leave this league next season but it's only for a while not forever, he will return if his job in Newcastle is finished.

First, Al Nassr made a mistake by sacking Rudi Garcia when the competition was nearing its end. after the dismissal of Rudi Garcia, Al Nassr fell to Al Hilal and lost in the King's Cup semifinal match against Al Wehda. after that, Al Nassr was only able to win 3 of their 5 matches, the other 2 matches ended in draws. meaning, the new coach needs time and chemistry with the players to build a system that works the way he wants. however, that decision actually made Al Nassr even further away from the Saudi Pro League championship trophy.
at least, if there will be a change of coach, it will be done after the competition is over. anyway, Rudi Garcia isn't so bad. Unfortunately, internal problems in the dressing room turned out to be a rash decision. which in the end, the Al Nassr players needed a new adjustment to the style and the new coach system. as a result, as we see that Al Ittihad has ensured the Saudi Pro League trophy.

On the other hand, I don't blame Ronaldo. but it seems, Ronaldo needs more time to adapt to the Saudi Pro League style of football. one more, like you said. Ronaldo arrived in the middle of the season, so it's only natural that he couldn't live up to the expectations of the Al Nassr supporters.
well, regarding Ronaldo to Newcastle, I think it's all still just rumours. so, it is very likely that Ronaldo will stay at Al Nassr.
Yes, the truth is that CR7 cannot be blamed even if he has been there since day 1 of the season, firstly because soccer is a sport that is achieved as a team, you can never win a soccer championship and function as a 1 only player, and well the 'technician who has achieved something like this is called Pep Guardiola when he put all of Barcelona to play for Messi, of course Messi became the scorer, but Messi at that time without Xavi, without Iniesta Messi eventually didn't It would have been nobody on that team, but Pep Guardiola put the whole team to play for Messi, it worked here but it's not a guarantee that it will always work, that's why I say that a single player is not responsible.

In another order of ideas:

Luka Modric will decide on Real Madrid future soon amid Saud Arabia rumours

Quote
After Karim Benzema, Luka Modric is the next Real Madrid player facing the possibility of a summer exit.

The veteran midfielder was highly expected to pen a renewal at Santiago Bernabeu earlier in the year. But the renewal has not materialised yet, giving Saudi Arabia the opportunity to try and lure the player to the Middle East.

According to a recent report from COPE, Saudi Arabia have increased their offer for Modric and wants him to join the Saudi 2030 Project, following the footsteps of two of his former Real Madrid teammates Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema.

Ronaldo joined Al-Nassr earlier in the year while Benzema recently signed a contract with Al-Ittihad. Now, the Saudi Arabian clubs are ready to make the bet on Modric, as part of their plans to sign all the recent Ballon d’Or winners.

This thing about the great players taking revenge on the Saudi league is something phenomenal, Benzema is one of those who are saying yes, I hope that if that can happen, that league deserves it, besides that it is so that they continue to have the opportunity To show his mastery, here the one who paved the way for this league was CR7.

Yes it's very possible that more famous players would join and i think with Cr7 introduced into the Saudi Pro League has made the league very interesting to watch and the competition would be very tough this season cause they've attracted top European players like Karim Benzema from Realmadrid, Ngolo kantar from Chelsea fc, and several others and are currently bidding for the likes of David De gea, wilifred Zaha, Sergio ramos, Di Maria, Hugo Lloris and many other and Al hilal was on the brink of getting the signature of the famous world cup,Uefa, balon d' or winner Lionel Messi from Paris Saint German fc before he choose to go to the MLS in USA.

The Saudi Pro League is becoming more tough and ranked one of the most competitive in Asia and in the near future would attract lots of fans, due to the current world class players currently involved in the league for instance Cristiano Ronaldo has million of fans who are willing to continue supporting him wherever league he goes to,  which in return would make more fans and investors to give more interest to the league and his style of play would also be influential to his team mates helping them improve and become tougher opponets.

A number of teams will become strong, but what's the point of playing in a strong competition if you can't do anything internationally? They can never play against other top teams from other countries, they can participate in the Asian Champions League, but you don't have to expect serious opposition there. It's not just about making a lot of money, you also have to be able to deal with the culture and rules of the country. I think that is something that keeps many footballers from playing football here, because financially it is of course very attractive to play football there.

I see now that Moutinho from Wolves could be the next to join the Saudi League. It’s a real shame Messi didn’t go there but that just proves that money can’t buy everything. It’s a really different life out there but it doesn’t seem to be stopping multiple older stars from swapping Europe for Saudi Arabia. Will be really interesting to see how the league develops over the next few years.
Saudi Arabian clubs are completely willing to pay exorbitant sums if they are interested in a player. They did it for Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema, and N'Golo Kante, and they made even larger bids for Leo Messi, who declined because he's a different breed of player, always performing at a greater level than others. The Saudi pro league has already begun to develop, with the primary objective of becoming one of the top leagues in the next five years. Despite the fact that there are rumors of another deal. Wolve crucial defender Joao Moutinho is interested in joining the Saudi Arabian squad to play alongside some of the best players in the world.

I don't know whether Messi is off so much worse because he declined the offer to go to the Saudi Professional League and instead joins the MLS. A couple of details are coming to light and he will share revenue from Apple+ subscriptions and soccer related revenue in the US from Adidas merchandise sales. The marktet in the US is anything but saturated. He will probably not reach the 500 million that are said to have been offered to him in the SPL, but he will still be making very good money. I am sure they did their projections and maths beforehand and then made the decision.

But the question is still unanswered whether this approach by Saudi clubs can ever be sustainable and how far they will go. Are they going to sign a dozen of players, or a hand full per team? Where are the limits? If they pay Kanté 100 million, how many are going to follow with such a salary?
Messi has made his choice and we must agree with him on that. Benzema made his choice by accepting to play in the Saudi Arabia because is a muslim country, Ronaldo join because he wants to transform the league to top five in the wold, which is making wave already. because of Ronaldo effect people are now considering offers from Saudi Arabia. and within five years from now, the Saudi pro league will be filled with big stars from Europe, the taxations and the city is quiet impressive.

Messi, just want to enjoy life in the USA, the Inter Miami is too small to have such a star, their stadium is an open one without security, they lacks so many facilities to have a player of his kind. But his family priority first.

Sorry but you can't tell me that you seriously believe that Benzema went to Saudi Arabia because it is a Muslim country. What were the reasons that he didn't go there ten years ago? What kept him from never going to Real Madrid but instead go straight to a country where the Muslim religion is prevalent and practiced? Do you know what all these players would do if someone offers them a billion to play soccer for a year in Antarctica? They would get a snow suit and fly there immediately. This is about money and not about religion. If it was about religion, Benzema shouldn't have waited 20 years before he goes there.

One reason maybe indeed because of money, also at an age that is no longer fit surely will be very happy if it can still exist in the world of football, although not playing in the best league. With the presence of Benzema maybe we can also say Ittihad is currently the strongest competitor again for the race title next season, and I think Ronaldo and also Al Nassr are likely to difficulty again if they play against Ittihad at next.

Indeed, there was a lot of talk about Kante's arrival at Al-Ittihad and it seems that what Kante has experienced this season could become his stumbling block that made him fail to join Al-Ittihad. The injury problem experienced by Kante is very complex and learning from what Al-Ittihad has done can be an important reference for them because bringing in Kante must be proportional to the salary they will spend later. But I still hope that the injury problem will be resolved soon, however, for the SPL team to be able to get a football star like Kante and not too old is already very good for the development of football in the Middle East.

My question is what if Chelsea don't extend his contract while his contract will expire in the next 3 weeks would he be without a club?
Al-Ittihad could have signed Kante but on additional conditions related to the injury, I honestly remain optimistic that Kante will move to the Saudi League although he would not play since the start of the season because he doesn't have much choice, except for Chelsea to extend his contract.
Chelsea will definitely consider the decision to extend his contract, especially with Kante's performance after being injured, he will definitely start to experience a decline and Chelsea will definitely not take the risk of extending his contract. Especially with the new Chelsea coach, of course he needs a fitter figure for the defensive midfield position and therefore it seems that the option to Al-Ittihad is the only reason for Kante to be able to continue his career in football.

Since Ronaldo came to play football here, it has all become more in the spotlight and the media attention is greater than ever before. It will be a pity that Messi did not follow up, would that be the reason that they brought Benzema to this country after all? Benzema is open to this adventure and has also indicated that he feels very much at home here because as a Muslim he feels very much at home in this country. But if Messi had signed, I don't think Benzema would have joined this team. With so many wealthy owners you would expect that many more good players would play here to boost their bank account?

Some names that potentially to be the next players that will be playing on saudi pro league

Wilfried zaha

Aubameyang

Sanchez

Iago aspas

I hope that their transfers can be completed easily. that will make saudi pro league becomes even bigger thanbefore.

I think the players who have not had the chance to play in Europe or who are the subject of discussion because they are getting old, will continue to prefer the SPL. Because the news really talk about astronomical money for transfers. In addition, Ronaldo paved the way for football players who could transfer to the Arab league. He is a good role model for everyone. If he's playing there, other players can do it too. I wish the Champions League was a more comprehensive football organization. While football is getting so much attention all over the world, it is not fair to me that the best football players only play in Europe.

I mean we should agree that these are more money these players can make for the rest of their careers combined than just a single year. So for example in Kantes case, he could play 10 more years, and he would not make 100 million total, that's just not going to happen, and instead he is making more money in a single year than he could make anywhere else.

As I have stated before, Saudis could be rich but they are not rich enough to keep this going, for example if they did this for all 11, that would be 1.1 billion a year, we all know they won't do that, so they will pay less, and even at 50 million a year, that's 550 million a year, they won't even do that. Which means that they will get a few token players like these, and a few more smaller names instead of huge names, like iago aspas and so forth, and they will call it a day, won't make them top 10 let alone top 5.
There are many types of players, some really care about very tight competition in popular leagues so they stay at their current clubs, or they leave but are still in a competitive league environment. The players come here one of the factors is the fantastic money they will get, it will guarantee their future. I would not make a big deal out of this, because apart from being a hobby they are also working and have to earn money in their hobby. Arab clubs are one of the destinations where players can get high salary values, so they will be tempted, especially if they are entering retirement age.

Yes, because young players will certainly settle down playing in Europe because of course, playing in Europe is a high motivation for achievement. So, to move and play in Saudi Arabia at least these players have entered retirement age. Thus, I agree about the amount of salary earned by star players who are willing to play in Saudi Arabia because after all, because they have entered retirement age, in the end these teams will only pay these players maybe only for one or two seasons. Therefore, I think the saudi professional league might be an alternative for them before retiring, because here they can receive high pay before retiring.

We know that Kante has a pretty bright history of the previous team, before he experienced a decline in the last season.
Of course, if Kante has a bright opportunity for a career in Al Ittihad if the performance returns full, and does not experience injuries so that it makes a fairly high loss for the team.
But what Al Ittihad found today found a pretty good game, and today became the peak leader, of course, with the arrival of Kante will make Ittihad better and maintain his dominance on the Arab land gridiron.

I think that the Arab League will be very fun and very competitive, because there are many world players who compete or join the Arab League team, it seems that the media's attention will be quite shifted.
N'Golo Kante has had a bad season due to frequent injuries, even though if you look at his previous career it was quite promising and now he is no longer young to play in the big leagues in Europe. The decision to move to Al Ittihad was actually also a good decision because there he would become a core player who could continue to play and the pay there was also quite large, especially since Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema also played there. So far there is no clarity regarding the future of N'Golo Kante and I hope he will accept the offer to play at Al Ittihad next season.

Saudi Arabia sees a business opportunity in recruiting European stars and they are also trying to improve the reputation of the league through club level and the availability of big money will pave the way for them. But to make the Saudi Arabian League more competitive, I don't think it will have much effect, if the European star players only play in one club which is not spread across at least three or four clubs in Saudi Arabia.
