Roberto Firmino is rumored to have received an offer from the Saudi club, Al Ahli. the Brazilian, recently left Liverpool after his contract expired. thus, Firmino is free and can choose his next destination. Previously, it was rumored that Barcelona had also been linked with Firmino. but according to CBS Sport, Al-Ahli has prepared a large sum of money to get Firmino's signature. in fact, Al-Ahli is already having his medical ready if they get the answers they want by the end of the week. if, in the end, Firmino accepts offers from the Saudi club, he could join forces with some of Edouard Mendy's familiars. including other players, who joined other teams.

Im sure if he is still having capability to play a bit longer in european league but it seems to me if firmino wants enjoy his life by playing with fewer pressures and big salary. It's firmino's decision. Leaving from liverpool has been giving him emotional impact to determine which club that will able to sign him as a new attacker. He is a top striker but I expected him to stay in Europe for at least a year or two. Since so many clubs are currently looking for a striker and Real Madrid even signed Joselu as a backup plan, Firmino would have been a much better choice in my opinion. But no matter what any European club would have offered him, if he wants to make big money the SPL is the way to go now and that is what he decided to do. But in terms of his quality he could have stayed in Europe without problems.

I don’t blame Guardiola for leaving out Mahrez and play Bernardo Silva more often than him, they are both good players and it’ll be very hard for to decide who to start with and make amongst his first team line up. Amidst all that, he never gave Mahrez opportunity in the first team again which is very detrimental to a player of his caliber.

It’s now time for him to move on and join a team that’ll guarantee a position in the first team, it’ll improve him and could be amongst the best players in that league. Mahrez already won some trophies in Europe, I’m happy he’s joining the Saudi league and I’m optimistic that he’ll bond with them easily there and continue his career there.

Mahrez has been rejecting saudi's offer. It's now real madrid that is trying to approach him again. I remember that if madrid has been competing with PSG last yer to get him but madrid was failed to get him.
I guess madrid is now getting interest to get him from manchester city again but as per his statement if he wanna stay in manchester city even longer. That means if the chance for him to leave from city is pretty small at this moment.
His contract is still long and it seems like that mahrez wanna try to stay until his contract will expire next season. Manchester city has become strong candidate to win UCL again next season with almost same squad.
Mahrez has become a great combination with haaland. He was able performing perfectly last season. That's why i don't think he consider to leave from city in summer.
He will stay in city for next season.

After decide not to extended his contract with Liverpool Firmino was linked to several clubs such as Juventus and Real Madrid but seems this is only a remain rumour because those teams weren't made a movement to get his signs and besides that Firmino also has got the offers from several Brazilian teams but until now he hasn't decide yet which team will he choose

And recently Al Ahli came with good offers and i am sure if Firmino accept them and the salary will be higher than when he was joining with Liverpool and this summer Firmino hasn't gets many offers from european teams although some of Premier league want to used him but Firmino has been decide not to accept them because he was respect to Liverpool and the offers from Al Ahli will not come twice so Firmino should be carefully to decide whether he will accept or not however Al Ahli is promotion team apparently they were really serious to strengthen their squad and Firmino could be good recruitment for them

With the level of attention and publicity the Saudi Arabia league is getting currently, it will be very difficult to refuse a contract from the league. Also, the pay the clubs offer is far above what the players based on their age and level of performance will get anywhere in Europe. The Brazilian forward is 31 and has had a flourishing football career, so moving to Al-Ahli as a free agent will be more profitable. The club is currently waiting for Firmino's response which will pave the way for his medical. He still had the option of returning to the Brazilian league because there has been some interest from there.


There is nothing attractive about the Saudi Legaue for now except the money. Most of these players are winding up their football career and SPL provides the opportunity of retiring wealthy enough to live a comfortable life. But as the league develops players might consider moving there to experience quality football. But this will happen only when the Saudi football association makes use of this uncommon opportunity.

Firmino would be huge as he is one of the most underestimated players if you look at his performances for Liverpool and that he wasn't part of the first eleven often times. When you say it is about trying out a new league, I doubt that this is what drives any player who is going to the Saudi Professional League. They aren't going there to try out the league, they are going there to bag hundreds of millions.
