By the looks of it, Ronaldo could get upset here as well, which I wouldn't really blame all on him considering the type of players he plays with, but the fact that he got here when they were leading the league and they may lose the league after he got here will definitely cause a lot of mockery. That doesn't mean that he was the reason for it, but it will not stop people from mocking him of course, just the situation itself is sort of funny already and that is why I would guess that there will be a ton of memes and videos mocking him in the end this season if they can't win the title. They still have the chance, but they just need to fight much harder.
I second that too, there are quite a lot of Ronaldo haters all over the internet, people waiting for him to fail or be put on the bench so they can make fun of him, i know it is all part of the banter, but sometime last year i began to think if maybe those in higher authorities actually somewhat dislike Ronaldo, not that it matters though, but it feels like Fifa and some of the other governing bodies are Messi fanboys.

Ronaldo is one of the stars that has become iconic in the world of football, no matter when he was still playing in the European league or his current club. there will always be people, or groups who dislike it and even sneer at it. this is natural, the dislike of other star supporters will tend to ridicule or mock him. whether it's by making mockery memes, shouting Messi's name when Ronaldo is playing against another team. whatever it is, everything will be done by groups or people who don't like it.

So, Ronaldo's current problem does not come from within the team or the opponent. however, pressure comes from outsiders who tend to corner him. but as a big star, it shouldn't be a big problem for him. his current focus is to bring his team to win a competition trophy this season. yes, Ronaldo has to work hard to make it happen and reply to all the negative responses that lead to him with achievements.

The freekick goal looked amazing, I will agree to that but we also have to accept the fact that he shot right at the wall and the wall just got separated, if they stayed without even moving, he wouldn't have scored at all, it's that simple, just not move and he misses that shot.

But at the end of the day, Ronaldo keeps scoring and thanks to that Al Nasr is still following Al Ittihad very closely, one loss or a draw from Al Ittihad and we get Al Nasr as the leader once again and after that I do not think that they would be giving that back ever again after that happens. It's obvious that the top two teams will win as much as possible, maybe even win all the remaining games, because they are just that much better than everyone else.

@el kaka22 well that’s the beauty of football, if you lose discipline then you’ll be punished for it and here Ronaldo stuck to the basics and he was rewarded for it. Also the signing of Ronaldo has boosted the overall confidence of the squad, and I believe that he can inspire them to win the league title as he’s getting better and better with each and every game.
Ronaldo effect has changed everything about the club, their confidence and moral in every game. I believe they will win the league title if they keep playing with determination and confidence. I know Captain Ronaldo is a man that doesn't like losing matches none love been defeated. Al-Nassr will lead the league again, after the International break.

I agree with you@Lordhermes. The arrival of Ronaldo has brought about a great change in Al-Nassr,  the team were not winning most of their games before his arrival but since he became their player, their goal  scoring pattern has changed, they now win matches and score multiple goals in most of their matches and Ronaldo keeps motivating them to do more even when they feel tired in most matches you always see him clapping and cheering them to victory that's one of the good effects he has brought to the team and the Saudi Arabian League as a whole.

Yes Al-Nassr may not be topping the League right now but there are chances of them getting back to winning the League after the break as you mentioned and with their good performance, Ronaldo effect will help them win the League.

Ronaldo is not God and he is old so his contribution for Al-Nassr is affected by his age clearly. I agree with you about his contribution that is booster for Al-Nassr players too about increasing their confidence, ambition and results on matches.

Ronaldo is a player who does not want to fail in any competition. In Al-Nassr, he is their captain and surely boosts his team-mates to play better. There are mutual cooperation and benefit for Ronaldo and his team-mates. Together they are playing better after the appearance of Ronaldo in their club.

Ronaldo effects are even bigger and not limited to Al-Nassr or in Saudi Arabia. He helped Saudi Professional League reached more to Europe with many television, media companies paid attention to the league and began to bring Saudi Professional League to European citizens. Around Saudi Arabia, he made noise and forced other nations in Middle East join the race with Saudi Arabia to bring more star players to the area.

I don't know, to me it seems that nothing really changed since Ronaldo joined the team. They scored 28:6 goals in the first 14 games and the 14th game was when Ronaldo joined in January. They won that game, but Ronaldo didn't score. Since then they played seven more games and they scored 16:6 goals and dropped from rank 1 to rank 2. They lost rank 1, conceded more goals on average (conceded double the goals per game to be precisely), and scored 2.3 goals instead of 2 goals per game. Now where is the effect?

Now everyone has their own taste, but I didn't like Ronaldo's free kicks for quite some time. He had some remarkable free kick goals, definitely! But it turned too much into a lottery. Hardly precision and shoot as hard as you can and then hope. In this case the wall created a gap and the keeper let the ball slip through. Congratulations. Precise free kicks are fun to watch, but most of his free kicks go straight into the wall these days. He scored some of the best quite often, but that is a good while ago.

Surely several players will follow to this competition next season? There is enough money, and for a lot of money there are many football players who are only too happy to kick a ball here. moreover, Ronaldo will also have had contact with the necessary players about the environment and lifestyle in Saudi Arabia. Only 4 or 5 good players could become Ronaldo's teammates next season. I just don't know how long he will continue to play football in this league? I understand that it is financially attractive, but he has enough money, right? And you've been used to a European life all your life, haven't you? The difference between the Middle East and Europe in culture seems really huge to me. I don't think Messi will go this way.
Players have different thoughts and ideals. Ronaldo knows what's best for him and he went for it. Apart from the money involved in the Arab Professional league, I see football to be a little bit easy and convenient for Ronaldo at that age.
Europe football requires more potency Than The arab league, and that makes it easy for a talented player at 38 kike Ronaldo. In Arab, skills and enough experience is ok, but all this without physical strength doesn't work well in Europe. I am not saying Ronaldo isn't strong, but there is a decrease in his strength dew to age and that's why he still doing well in Arab football.

Well there are still many games to play, and i think Al Nassr can do it, i hope they win the league because of Ronaldo.

Talisca and Hamdallah are competing to be the top scorer in the Saudi Arabian League. I prefer the combination of talisca and cristiano but the competition between the two as lone strikers is fierce at the club. besides that al ittihad is currently at the top of the standings with only 1 point difference from al nassr, even though it looks difficult but I'm sure al nassr will be able to return to the top position of the saudi arabia league this season.
Yes, that's right, because Talisca is fighting directly to become the top scorer in the Saudi Arabian League. So he needs a goal. If C Ronaldo refuses to give him a penalty, it will cause locker room problems and conflict with Talisca.

I think Al nassr needs a better midfielder. C Ronaldo and Talisca can't do it all alone. His free kick through the wall reminds me of his goal against Wolfsburg in the UCL. Very world class.
this is what al nassr is lacking, their midfield is very bad and garcia has put players in the wrong position several times. the moment when cristiano allowed talisca to take a penalty kick was appreciated by many people, but i'm also sure that if cristiano didn't do that, there would be big problems in the locker room. al nassr needs continuous wins to be able to shift the position that is being filled by al itttihad.
Al Nassr will definitely take steps to strengthen the midfield.  Of course, the league continues at the moment and it would not be right to say for sure before the league ends.  Cristiano Ronaldo has added energy to the team and he can feel the absence of the midfield somehow and transfer his experience to the players there.  After this age, I think Cristiano Ronaldo can also give his coaching information.

Yes that's right the competition will be between the top 2 teams although Al Nasr is one point behind but I think their chances are still the same
Currently 27 points again up for grabs if one of them loses then the chance for title will be 50% anyway they can't miss a single point.
one point difference is not a big thing. because even that can change with just 1 match result. I think in the end Al-Nassr will return to the top of the table.

and talking about Al-Nassr I was quite impressed with the accuracy of Cristiano Ronaldo's free kick which is still very accurate. even the ball can pass through a narrow gap and lead to the side of the goal with the right. even the goalkeeper of Abha's team was slightly stunned for a moment. I don't think there are many players who can score goals from free kicks like this at the age of Cristiano Ronaldo.

Most chances in this season we will have fight for the title between Al Nassr and Al Ittihad which is leading the league table with just one point Al Hilal which is currently at the fourth number and have two matches in hands most chances will be stayed at the third spot because things looking not good for them and top two teams will have better quality and performance which is giving them better chance for the title even in last few seasons we have three team and most chances in next season we will have again better performance from other teams because after arrival of Ronaldo now path is open for many others to bring quality players from UEFA for improvement in performance and having better things in this league as well.

Difference of quality is increasing in this league with now many owners need to invest funds for the improvement of quality and having better players which will surely give them better results and also good encouragement for the investors and fans for having better intention about this league.

Yes, as I said before. in fact, Al Ittihad and Al Nassr are two clubs that are closer in the race for the trophy of this competition by 1 point difference. but don't forget that Al Ittihad has the potential to slip in some of his matches, especially against Al Hilal. let's refer to the H2H history of the meetings of these two teams, of the 15 meetings of these two teams since 2017, Al Ittihad was unable to win against Al Hilal. in fact, Al Hilal always dominates the victory over his opponent.

Well, because these two teams still have one last match meeting. it could be, Al Ittihad slipped in the match. that way, Al Nassr's potential to shift the ranking of the standings is wide open. or even, Al Nassr also slipped during the match against Al Hilal even though Al Nassr had Ronaldo. so, even though Al Hilal is currently ranked 4th, and 11 points adrift from the leader of the standings. it doesn't mean that Al Hilal doesn't have a chance, after all, they still have 2 matches postponed.

At least, Al Hilal can become a stumbling block for the two teams who are fighting for the top position in the standings. well, thus, Al Ittihad's position in winning this trophy is not in a safe situation. so, the opportunity for Al Nassr is wide open. or even, if these two teams slip in their two matches. it means opening opportunities for other teams to stick tightly to the top of the standings of this competition. I mean, the battle for the Saudi Pro League trophy is still competitive.

I think we all should know that Al Nassr which has Cristiano in them is clearly making a difference in this league which is low in quality compared to the other leagues where Cristiano has played so far,he choose to end his career here for a hefty reward in money and that was a nice move for him,as you cannot get 500 million Euros for 2 years when you are in the end of your career as a super star player.

Al Ittihad or any other team I doubt will have the consistency to win 9 games while I think Al Nassr can win all their games as long as they have Cristiano playing for them as this player clearly makes a huge difference in their games,a difference for the good of the team.

In yesterday's match, Al-Hilal as the host managed to win over his opponent Al-Ettifaq with a score of 3-0. Each goal was scored by Ighalo, Kanno and Al Dawsari and with this result Al-Hilal's position remains safe in the top 4 of the standings. In the next game, Al-Hilal will face al-Khaleej and they must again secure 3 points to shorten the distance from Al-Shabab, which is currently in 3rd place in the standings.

2 matches of Al Hilal are currently unplayed.  Other teams played 21 matches but Al Hilal played 19 matches.  If they get 2 wins in these matches, they can move up to the third place in the ranking.  On the other hand, I think Al Nassr and Ittihad will fight for the leadership until the last week.

Al Hilal is a very tough team in this competition. unfortunately, Al Hilal slipped in several of his matches so that they were left behind by points from the leaders of the standings and Al Nassr. you need to know, that this competition is usually always dominated by Al Hilal. Plus, they've won the trophy three seasons in a row. the match against Al Ettifaq, it's not a problem for them to get full points. after all, in terms of the quality of the game, Al Hilal is far above his opponent. plus if you refer to the history of the meetings of these two teams, Al Hilal dominated 16 wins while his opponent was only able to win two matches.
al hilal, al ittihad and al nassr are rivals who always compete for trophies in each season, even though he managed to win from ettifaq but currently al hilla is still ranked 4th (under al shabab)

next al hilal will face al khaleej and al feiha. Al Hilal has a good chance to be in 3rd position because currently, they have only had 19 matches while the other teams have had 21 matches

In what game week did Ronaldo start playing at Al Nassr this season? and that is one of the reasons that he is not yet a competitor to be on the top scorer list, but with the number of goals he has created also considering how he gets a large portion while playing in the remaining few matches it is possible for Ronaldo to overtake his team-mates or even Hamdallah
Even he is very old, he still has good fitness and his skills are outstanding. Scoring 9 goals after World Cup 2022, last 2 months and a half proves his capability. He is no longer able to maintain scoring goals in mostly every match but he still has ability to explode and score some goals in one match. So far it looks enough for him to participate in Saudi Professional League top scorer race with other players.

right now 21 rounds ended with just 9 matches remaining, and we will be off, but next season could be completely different, and we will have the good number of goals from him for having good spot in standing and Al-Nassr could be also on better way for having good advantage from others for having quality and players like these.
9 matches are not too many but enough to see changes in Best scorer race. Other players less likely are able to score hattrick but with Ronaldo, he can do it. If he does it only one more time, other players who are leading the race will feel more pressure from Cristiano Ronaldo in this race.

Ronaldo is a key player of Al-Nassr and he is supported very well by his team mates and in good days, he can find some goals. He is still a goal machine.

Yeah, he was late but still done good job and if he has one or two good matches then surely we can expect good fight for the top three spots because still he is one of the best strikers and can handle things in this league, but it's all depend on his fitness and available matches performance because right now 21 rounds ended with just 9 matches remaining, and we will be off, but next season could be completely different, and we will have the good number of goals from him for having good spot in standing and Al-Nassr could be also on better way for having good advantage from others for having quality and players like these.

Currently, they are at second spot and winning title is also in their target which is more important with Al-Ittihad doing impressive performance and having better defence as well which giving them good chance for having advantage against their other opponents.

Well despite all this, no one can deny that since CR7 arrived everything changed and is making a difference, most of us didn't even know these teams, this league was something I was unaware of, because I didn't see that Saudi football was going give a tremendous return and with so much interest, now with everything from the World Cup in Qatar and with CR7 I think these teams are becoming famous, as I have said thanks to CR7 sports channels like ESPN are making more space in their schedules for broadcast this league.
